I thought ur going to share some serious issues bt this are common in all countries except our home country. I agree with you for 50% Here its completely independent life style . Once u start living here u wil know ur capacity and be proud of urself like u can do all ur works by urself. Missing family members and loneliness is definitely true. Education is much matter in india that is also true. And last wt u said was 100% true if ur earning good in india no need to move to other countries u can hardly save 50k to 1 lakh compare to india . To just save this no need to come so far from family.

Completely agree with you. I spent 6 years in Canada and quit. Both me and my husband are highly educated but had to end up with minimum wage jobs to begin with. Winters are brutal. 2013 we experienced minus 40 with snow storms !! And keeping urself PACKED in ur home for months is extremely depressing. Medical facility inspite of being free is a joke !! You are better off getting basic medicines from India. They want to fix everything with Tylenol, that too such low potency that even 20 pills will not make any difference. And just 1 crocin in India and you can run a marathon next day. Education too is pathetic. They need a calculator to add 5 +5 !! Here 6 yr old kids do mental mathematics on 4 figures in their heads !! No university in Canada can even come close to IIT'S, IIM'S and IISC ever. 12th std math and science here in India is probably taught to engineering degree students on Canada. Moreover only Asian kids like Indians, Koreans Chinese kids ever reach university level education the rest are dropouts and busy with sex and drugs and temporary jobs to fend for the same. Mind you there is a lot of racism in Canada. Most whites hate Asians as they think that we have 'snatched' away their jobs !! They don't like it when we end up buying own homes within 2 to 3 yrs of migrating. Grocery is expensive. Commercial dairy products are high on hormones and other chemicals. It's crazy how many women there have issues with their reproductive organs. Hormone related obesity, diabetes is rampant. As she said only if you go there thru a company on projects ect it's alright. Else there is no place like India in every aspect.

Agreed. I am a long-time Toronto resident. Rents and housing is sky high. The federal gov't has been pushing money into the economy at an alarming rate, and this now interest rates will be very high for the many number of years, pushing up housing prices and therefore rents. The TTC is unsafe, that is for sure. The Federal gov't has admitted too many refugees without any transition plan, and Toronto has had to pick up the financial slack. The pandemic smacked Toronto with a huge bill, and this was not funded by the province nor the federal gov't. The result is under-funding of Toronto's social and city services, and therefore its degradation. Until Trudeau starts funding his share of the load, until the provincial gov't starts doing the same, further cuts will be required by the City of Toronto gov't for many years to come. There is no possible way that the City of Toronto can support this many social and city programs. Quality must drastically degrade, and it has.

While I agree with everything you have said I want to present a different perspective to the viewers. Here's my litmus test for coming to Canada. If you can answer any 2 out of these 3 questions with a 'Yes' you should definitely not come to Canada.\n1. Can you open up a tap/faucet anywhere in your home country and drink water without any worries of filtering it or boiling it?\n2. Do you make enough money or already have enough money to be able to breathe fresh clean air 24/7?\n3. Do you feel safe if you, your spouse or your children have to travel alone in the city or on the highway in middle of the night using public or personal transport?\n\nI don't know about where you are, a good lot of people would answer these 3 questions with a YES in Canada.

I am born and rasied in Toronto and I would have to say what is happening now in this city is do to the covid fallout. Toronto has always had higher rent then most Canadian cities but I think with the loss of jobs and and the rise in cost of living all over Canada due to covid I would say that Toronto is going through some hard times like everywhere eles in Canda. Unfortunately because it is the bigest city alot of people have moved here in the hope of a better life. I have noticed a rise in drug use but have not noticed a rise in violent crime. They do say that the TTC is got worse...Hard to say as I take the TTC every day across the city and have not noticed any diferance other then more and more people are useing it again. During covid the subway was empty and now all these people that have never used it before are having to learn how it all works and subway edict. I think media is making the subway seem worse then it is. To me it has not changed. I do agree the real problem is dealing with homeless that was more hiden but now is out in the open. Funding from all levels of goverment needs to help all big canadain cites more. I think Toronto will come back again to what it was pre-covid. Hopfully soon!!

The 1950s, 1960s and 1970s were very different. We had a very young population and had room to grow. It is still a great country but I agree. If you are not born here and are established where you are, please don't come. We have enough Uber drivers and fast food workers For the rest of us, who are born here and are gainfully employed, it's awesome.

I agree with safety totally but please tell me in todays time how much rent you pay in gta , how can you afford rent in 2000 dollars look at the inflation here,plus cleaniness is people thing do we keep clean house in surroundings, then car insurance house insurance hydro water grocery cost be practical those who are stuck are stuck that is reality minimum pay is 15:50 dollars In Toronto gta , property tax is annual but you pay every 3 months that will be minimum 700 to 800 dollars think before moving even for bus fare u pay 8 dollars just do maths now if u have house back home don’t come

As a second generation Nigerian immigrant (parents were born in Nigeria and I was born in the US). I 100% agree w/ his perspective. I’ve spent consider amount of time in Nigeria w/ my side of the family that’s doing well and the other side that aren’t. Aboard should only be for people who have no opportunity back home as in they have tried everything and nothing worked for them. If you are doing well in Nigeria, try and give birth to your kids in the US so they can retrieve citizenship. There is no reason a successful person back home should sell their things and move aboard even for kids as you can send them aboard to receive an education and help them gain citizenship and from their they can file for you. The amount of systemic racism, odd jobs you will have to work (God forbid you don’t have a degree and you move aboard for non degree purposes that’s when aboard will show you pepper), cost of surviving is expense here especially now as inflation is high. It’s just not benefiting especially if you were better off in Nigeria. However, this shouldn’t stop you from coming just know that the road isn’t easy and some places are worse than others. I’ve never been to Canada but have been to the UK and by far would advice anyone from back home to avoid UK at all cost. Not even sure how Nigerians are even making it there lol (it’s a never ending cycle of poverty plus citizenship is very difficult to gain and the discrimination in my opinion is much worse than the US. UK society has a class system and it only really empowers British people. The UK is so bad that they even discriminate against Eastern Europeans that should let you know a lot.) Also why do you think most Brits Nigerians come back to Naija hoping to secure job compared to American Nigerians and let me tell you it’s not because the UK is close to Nigeria, there is a true lack of opportunity. There are more opportunity in the US and possibly Canada compared to the Europe.

Hi Tyler, born and raised Cdn here. I have American relatives and ancestors. I spent a lot of time going to the States to visit them when I was young and US felt like our big brother back then. Nice, clean, safe, fun and just big. Heck, when I was 15 I even took the Greyhound bus from Toronto to San Francisco. I've been back a few times but last was in 2015. Lkg to come back maybe this Christmas. I know media is biased but to give you some explanation, we don't have guns up here to the extent you guys do. Of course we have crime and sick things do happen up here but, we don't have to fear that every single person we come in to contact w is packin a gun. And the news intensifies our fear of that one aspect of your country's culture. And yes, the amount of mass shootings at schools terrifies us. I am sad to also see the political extremism in the US now. I miss the US of my childhood and certainly do agree, small town rural people are salt of the earth there. I even found New Yorkers nicer than Torontonians.

I absolutely have to agree, U.S. Immigration Policy needs an update. Most of the policy we have today settled during the anti-immigration 90s and terrorism-scared 2000s. It was an era guided by fear more than statistics. It's no surprise that when you throw more and more money at a border and simply make it rarer for an immigrant to come legally, that the reasons for people wanting to come here doesn't stop existing.

It really seems like the US should make it so much easier for people who want to legally move here to work and be cool to become citizens while cracking down on people who want to come here to do terrible things like push drugs and human trafficking. I feel like both liberals and conservatives would agree with that?

Having read all of this and agree, individual Americans that we meet when we do come down for a visit, are not ogres. They're all trying to live their best lives just as we are. It's just that we come from different origins. We came from England with an established law and order. America was mostly established as a refuge from prosecution and there in lies your craze over gun laws. American is also about making laws around religious beliefs of the majority and that steps on everyone's rights.....also dumps the belief that State and Religion are separate things.

Sorry Tyler, but as a US immigrant born and raised in America who lived there until I was 69 and who happens to also be a minority in several ways, I can agree with the Canadian who lived in the states for 6 years and found it intolerable and for the same reasons only I was often on the receiving end of the craziness. Before anyone comes at me I lived in Chicago, Kansas City, New Orleans and Houston and visited several other cities, so I had a pretty broad experience of US society. And I would have left the states much earlier, but I didn’t have the money as family responsibilities drained all my resources. I’ve been living in Latin America mostly Mexico and have more peace of mind, feeling of safety, lack of discrimination and affordable life then I ever did in the states. I will not be moving back if I can help it ever. Peace!

Well, as a Canadian, I guess i'll pitch in.\nWould I move to the US? The short answer is no. But I will explain more in detail.\n\nFirst, I do not see any advantages to the US compared to Canada. Americams often tout their country as the beacon of freedom and the land of opportunities, but I don't feel that Canada is so different there. We're actually higher on the world freedom index, and its not like our economy was in shambles and everyone dirt poor... We pay more taxes, fine, but we also get more services in return, and that last part has the advantage to remove a big layer of worry. Like, for healthcare, I don't have to worry if i'm covered by insurance or not, or if the insurance carrier will drop me on some technicality. I'm a citizen. All the basic needs are covered; no questions asked (and the healthcare quality is not half bad. We just prioritize urgent cases over non-urgent; so if you go to the hospital for something non-urgent, you will wait, and more urgent cases will pass before you. Annoying when it happens, but I understand and agree with that in the end)\n\nSecond, I do see a lot of disadvantages. All the points raised in the video are valid, from the private-sector healthcare system, the gun control laws (or lack thereof), the social policies and legislation in some states; they don't agree with me.\n\nI think it comes down to some specific social and cultural ideas that are prevalent or at least present in a substantial manner in the american society. Bear in mind that I am generalizing here, not every american believes these points, but many do. This is very biased in favor of Canada. However, I strongly agree with your viewpoint on gun control. Canada comes out on top. When it comes to Healthcare, you omitted that Canada is experiencing a shortage of doctors and the wait time for care is longer and longer. More doctors are moving to the US for better salaries. For education, the US system made it such that with a Bachelor degree you can get a good job. A Masters degree isn't required although good. Meanwhile, in Canada competition in job market makes it that employers hire over qualified employees. With a Masters degree you're likely to occupy a Bachelor degree position. I personally don't see this as a good thing. When It comes to political and religious diversity, it depends on personal preferences. Some people like diversity, others don't. I personally like conservative states. A 2021 report indicates that thirty thousand new immigrants left Canada due to expensive living conditions. At the end of the day, it is like the saying there's no accounting for taste.

I am descendant of Latinos, and I do not agree with this administration has caused. I met someone in a Walmart parking lot from Venezuela. He had been here in Atlanta for 10 days and didn’t know anyone. He told me he came to the US because Biden promised all Venezuelans asylum and therefore be legalized in the US. So I genuinely asked him how his country was, and he said that things were very difficult; not being able to afford basic things, so then I said “well, I’m sure that is the result of the presidents decisions, most precisely socialism/communism,” I thought he was going to agree and he said “no, our president and former president had good ideas and plans.” My point is that all of these people coming from Venezuelan are fleeing their country because of the negative situation that sadly is taking place in their country, however their mindsets have been corrupted by thinking they deserve to have “free” things. All of these ppl will be legalized and they will be able to vote very soon, so these ppl will vote democrat because they were given this opportunity by Biden. As an Australian, I agree they are on point. Including the very last bit about trying to bring in food. When I was at Customs one time, I witnessed a little old Asian lady busted for trying to smuggle in some no-no food. The officials were NOT nice with her, because she was being entitled, difficult and uncooperative. Can't recall if they arrested her in the end or simply confiscated the goodies. \n\nAustralia takes this issue VERY seriously. Make sure you check the list of verboten items before coming to Australia, or you may get booted out without ever having left the airport.

People will suffer as long as we continue to be selfish and only think of our own well being. Yes there is Law to respect but they are desperate looking to work for the most part. It’s selfishness from their part for what they’re doing and it’s only harming people like me. I’m was brought here to the US when I was 2 years old I am now 20. I graduated high school , don’t have any felonies or misdemeanors. I have a degree for machine technology and I can’t work because I don’t have a work permit , and these people are coming and getting all these privileges I never got. This is causing bad to those who are already here and are trying to do everything according to the law and yet we have no support in getting atleast a work permit. I agree daca was unconstitutional which is why they’re trying to shut it down but trump was trying to make something happen for teens that were brought here at a young age. Unfortunately people are blind and selfish and only care about themselves, I get it that they live in poverty because so did we. And my beautiful mother suffered so much. But atleast wait until the US can do something about those who are already in weather it’s helping them or not. There’s so much problems happening right now in the United States such as mass shootings. Let the authorities, government officials , etc try to clean up the United States from how bad it’s getting before raiding the border and causing a burden and headache to those who are in office trying to come up with solutions to this madness.

The Democrat's control everything why didn't they get some kind of bill on the table. If the United States actually jumped in for the people of Mexico, their hearts may be swayed and they won't be allies with Russia. You can't say you have conflict with one country and their friends be the neighbor. I just had a vision of the whole US wiped out by Russia, minus CA who didn't want to fight in WW3. As a Hispanic, I agree with many of the comments here, these people should come legally first to take them in and so they have an easier life when they get here. But American has so many homeless people to take care of first, how can we take care of others if we have to take care of ourselves first?
