As an American I'm extremely saddened and disappointed by everyone who voted for Trump when we knew this day was coming. It's your fault this country is about to go through one of the worst economic periods ever.

At this juncture the whole world have seen how ignorant American voters are by allowing this low profile exconvict and a draft dodger to dictate for a country like America , TRUMP himself is illitrate forget about the English language the man knows nothing when it comes to international politics and how American foreign policies work , a man with zero experience public office how can he rule but guess what American people deserve everything thats been happening to them , they better stfu and deal with it

As an American I am so sorry for the pathetic acts of that man who isn't my president. He has the job and he's fucking it up properly. I am sorry. We are sorry. Alberta, Canada: I just returned from shopping and I am happy to say that I managed to spend CAD $450 on groceries without spending a single cent on American products! I buy a lot of organic items and many of them come from California. But putting in the time today at the store and reading labels, I realized that there is a Canadian/Mexican/European equivalent for everything I need ; )

Tariffs on Canada would likely reduce real gross domestic product to zero in 2025 if implemented beyond a year and lead to a 2% contraction in 2026 with a peak unemployment rate of more than 8%. Trump told Canada if you did TWO THINGS, there would be no tariffs on Canada. One, stop illegal immigrants from pouring into the USA from Canada. Two, stop illegal drugs from coming into the USA from Canada. Did Trudeau comply with President Trump's request? If so, there must be a lack of communication to verify what has transpired. If not, then Trump imposed tariffs for lack of compliance. Now, if Canada has already complied yet the Trump admin imposed tariffs anyway, then that is a slap in the face to our neighbors to the north and the American people should be outraged and let Trump know it.

I'm an 80 year old Navy veteran and I am ashamed to be an American. My wife and I walked out of a concert a week ago when the band started playing Proud to be an American. The American government agencies and institutions have been weakened, as well as their healthcare and educational systems. Their relationships with allies and friends, North and South, have been strained, global allies have grown skeptical of the United States, and everywhere the US has given away its soft power, a vacuum was created that will now be filled with China or Russian influence. Every enemy of the US longed for this moment, and Donald Trump and JD Vance handed them this unnecessary win. America is past the point of no return; No one will come to help and rescue their most vulnerable. Canadian and American working class citizens. \n\nIf you think Canada is so great, you’re either a wealthy boomer, or have no clue what it’s like to work for a living in this modern economy in Canada. People are required to work 2-3 jobs just to afford the basics. Wages have been stagnant since the 90’s here, with cost of living rising 600-700% in the last 10 yrs.
