The people coming from India in the last 4-5 years does not behave like indians. They are very different. To say it politely. No sense of courtesy. No sense of customer service. And constantly talking loudly among themselves in hindi or other indian languages. Canada's language is English and French. Its uncomfortable going for a Timmy run nowadays. Also you cannot enjoy a quiet cup of coffee if there are few Indian customers in the coffee shop. Please let others enjoy their coffee in peace. We do not need to hear your loud voices everywhere.

Yes the cashiers are usually Indians and they don't greet or smile but once I moved to the gulf and saw mostly Filipinos as cashiers or receptionists, they greeted me with a smile and sometimes a small talk you will feel heard and noticed? the way they reciprocate. My love for Filipinos ❤

Again I would blame Trudeau. He shouldn’t have raised immigration levels in the first place. Now he has let down people who have hoped to start anew. It shouldn’t be focused on just Indians though. It should be across the board. As most other Canadians I have talked to and what I have seen being Canadian, the immigration levels are too high and it is not improving things for this country. I worked in a retail store with where Indians shopped regularly. They were the very rude to the sales helps. They talked down to us and they were the worst thieves the store has ever seen. I have to say as a white Canadian i have met some Indian people who are the nicest people but I have also had some that were the worst kind of people personally from my experience it has mostly been those who have come since the pandemic which is due to our government not properly screening people. I never usually comment, but really had to speak up. Those of you from the US should not be involved in this conversation considering ur melting pot country with little diversity who is unaccustomed to diversity anyways (i went to america and was shocked at how little coloured minorities there were, and if there were it was just one type that was not brown). Canada has always had brown people, and many of the people you are talking about could be those that immigrated many years ago here or those that were born here. This is different from those immigrating who are also brown - you are grouping those from all different countries in South Asia (with brown skin) as Indian. Just because you see a brown person working in Walmart, it could just be someone who was born here or came here a long time ago. Brown people and Indians included are not in a majority in any way - just look at the population stats.
