I wish I could take my vote back idk wtf he is doing! Making enemies with Canada and friends with Russia

We ran into so many people in California this past weekend, with support for us. I kept telling them, they are the ones we stand with, as they go through all of this. So many of them don’t even want to be in the US anymore.\n\n*This was not a post for people who voted for that Orange asshat. You can all get the H double hockey sticks out of here with your bullshit. Get out of Canada if you are here too. ???

I’m a 53 year old Canadian. I went to college on an athletic scholarship & lived there for 10 years after turned professional in my sport. Why, why, why - with all the problems going on in the world right now to tackle - why would you want to start a trade war with your closest trading partner & most loyal ally? Not to mention that your list of Allies is shrinking daily. This is not going to end well for either of us. \nI just arrived home from a trip to the grocery store - making sure nothing in my cart said “ made in the USA” on it due to the new tariffs that began today. \nThe irony is, many of the states where Trump won by the biggest margin, are the states that are going to get hit the hardest from Canadian retaliation tariffs ( Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Indiana, the Dakotas - just to name a few). A lot of farmers in those states are going to be hit extremely hard with the fertilizer tax. After Canada, the next 3 largest Potash producers are Russia, Belarus & China. So , good luck \nWhen the cost of fruit & vegetables skyrocket across the US. Maybe you’ll put a little more thought into your vote 4 years from now.

Why no new industries built in Canada, we essentially only sell cars and oil to the USA at 20% discount. Try buying Canadian, but these are all foreign products, because Canadian bureaucracy and poor productivity, ie, unions and government employees all at home. EXAMPLE, after owning hunting rifles for sixty year, Trudeau minions, contacted my at least six time when I attempted to renew my firearms licence, even phoning my wife for a old man... I was assured by one Trump voter that the tariffs weren't real before he, against my advice, went and voted for Trump based on a Joe Rogan podcast. Yo, Canada, do what you have to do. I understand. I’m Canadian and I don’t care for Trudeau. I didn’t vote for him but I have to give credit where credit is due. I appreciate that he is standing up for Canada and I agree with him. This is a huge mistake for the USA and it is destroying decades of hard work that has made North America great.

We know what a good ally you have been to the US and we also know your primary concern is to Canadian citizens. While many of us have done what we could do and we also know the current trade arrangement was negotiated with you by Donald Trump in his previous term which leaves many of us scratching our heads. For my part it deeply saddens me that this has happened and all we ask or all that I ask is that you remember those of us who did not vote for this. Slightly less than half of the country. I live by the Canadian border. It is NOT easy to cross. Trump is lying and just trying to make himself look good even knowing tht Canada is willing to be a partner in combating illegal drugs. I have been to Canada several times and the people have been so warm and welcoming. It is beyond sad to see this happening. This means your vote and opinions DO count. I know it is incredibly difficult to reach for and find answers in a world where your president or primary candidate throws 'fake news' in your face on a regular basis. He is actually telling the truth. When he is not telling you is that he is a primary enabler of 'fake news'. To him, only his word is law, only his opinion matters, only he deserves to be on top, and he deserves authority over all of your lives. Do the right thing, we all have a civil duty to understand our candidates to the very best of our ability. When a man has been convicted of dozens of felonies, and we tell you that this is only what we were willing to expose. You may want start believing us. The genuine facts of his past are unilaterally corrupting to our children and good people alike. Do not let the american people repeat their mistakes, force Mr. Trump to atone for his mistakes. No not empower him to sweep them under the rug for the sake of his own arrogance, because that is exactly what he is doing by trying to dismantle the CIA and FBI. These two institutions are shining examples of America's pursuit of freedom and justice. Freedom to keep billionaires from corrupting the morals of our children. Freedom to know that the rule of law is immutable, our constitution is not just a paper with fancy traditional sentiment. Even if the law may sometimes be bent for the sake of decency, forgiveness, and the pursuit of 'united we stand', our constitution cannot. Amendments require the FULL support of nearly all Americans, not 27.5% of unrestricted adults.
