Here is a aggressively neutral take as a Canadian elementary school teacher in an area with an extremely high Indian population (around half our school is ethnically Indian). It is also my own opinion, and some opinions on the internet suck: The good: Cultural integration IS possible (the Indian families are more into hockey than the white families where I live), tons of cross-cultural friendships, beautiful blend of cultural celebrations, top achievers are almost always second-generation immigrants, kids are growing up to love their parents' culture while also loving Canada's, many fantastic families who engage their children well and raise them very respectfully, religious temples that will feed an amazing meal to ANYBODY who walks into them (as long as you cover your hair), low rates of family trauma (drugs, abuse, divorce, etc.), families that take care of their elders The rough: Not all families are interested in being Canadian (some families just send their kids to Indian speaking private schools, live in Indian areas, and only seem to practice Indian ways of life - what's even the point?), many Indian families retreated into their home-lives during Covid which removed their children from integration opportunities, a very small percentage of the families are absolutely TERRIBLE at parenting and treat their sons and daughters with different levels of respect, multi-family households pay a single property tax which makes the contribution per taxpayer much smaller (while social benefits are equal to anybody else), some crime such as extortion and gang activity has been imported into the country, some individuals' disregard for rules and laws (setting fireworks on Diwali in the middle of a dry, grassy field is just plain stupid), some Indian communities seem to vote blindly for their own ilk during local elections without any regard for policy or experience, LMIA immigration program has been corrupted by the nepotism of bad actors and the greed of large corporations (wages can be federally subsidized which makes it cheaper to hire immigrants than the 16 year old down the street). Many of these families were simply making good choices for their own family, so don't blame the people themselves for this - blame the government that allowed it to fester unsustainably. I'll continue to stick up for the majority of these beautiful families though - haters be darned! Watching these kids grow up gives me some hope for humanity!

I live in Brampton. And all I can say is thanks for visiting and spreading the word on this problem. I was born in Brampton, and my mother tells me about how much it's changed. Many of my friends and family friends have moved to other neighborhoods POST mosques being put up near their homes. And let's not talk about employment and foreign "students". I was lucky to get a job last summer at a family owned small business Ice Cream store right after high school. We even got a review saying we weren't diverse enough despite us being a group of White, East Asian and Black employees lol. And many people say if your not Indian and your getting your drivers test, you go out of Brampton to do the test because you'll likely get discriminated by who is running the test. It's absolutely absurd. It sounds like tin foil hat sh*t, but if you live here like me everything comes full circle. But ofc there are good ones, but they are typically the westernized ones, who have assimilated, they play or watch hockey and have developed a Canadian accent. But the majority haven't assimilated, they are likely first generation, and they do things like stuff 15+ people in one suburban home. And just small things like staring at you in public (idk why their community stares you down), they spit on sidewalks, and they use some crazy a$$ spices when they cook. The smell carries over for blocks and you know your in deep Brampton territory when your driving and that smell of spicy curry hits you and you gotta roll up them windows lol. It's a nasty smell. This mass migration is a huge issue and needs awareness.

The thing is, when you bring up people who faced discrimination and serious problems in their home countries—like not having access to a decent standard of living, proper culture, or good education—it makes everything so much harder for them when they arrive in a new country too.I also want to talk about jobs in Canada, bruh. All the industries seem dominated by specific ethnic groups that have basically taken them over. For example, in construction, you mostly see Spanish or Portuguese crews who only speak their own language on the job. And Indians—they've pretty much taken over all the Walmarts and fast-food chains in Canada.They should've kept Canada truly multicultural instead of letting it turn into this. I live in suburban Toronto right next to Brampton, thanks for bringing attention to this matter. Everything you showed in this video is 100% facts. These guys have turned Toronto into a crime-ridden shithole, tons of home invasions, auto thefts and robberies are through the roof, taking all of the jobs and opportunities away from young Canadians, etc. Youth unemployment in Canada is 25% all because of these guys. These Indians use these shitty no-name "colleges" to sneak their way into Canada and then don't leave when their visas expire and work illegally under table, not paying taxes on their income like the rest of us do. In Brampton, you'll often find 3-4+ families living in the same house. Pretty much any restaurant or establishment you go to, there will be mostly Indians working there, barely any white people. It's a plague.

It is also very hard when every single store; walmart; Fast food is all India. Other races will not be hired, so all we see are India taking over every taxi and every single job. Tyler, They have had saber fights in the parking lot (iirc Sheridan College Davis campus). There's conflicts between hindus and sikhs every fucking diwali due to the khalistan bullshit. These indians love shooting fireworks up until 3am, and disturb all the folks trying to sleep, and terrorize dogs kept outside. Diwali has gotten so bad one year, the city had to issue air pollution warnings due to the amount of fireworks. They've also found out some time ago that there was a basement where they had 30+ different individuals living there, packed like a can of sardines. The sikhs are absolute ass at driving, and they run the trucking industry. Accidents everywhere. Brampton has developed a real bad name over the years. Absolute shit city.

They are overpopulating my area too. When I walk around my Costco, there have been times where there are Indians in every single direction I look, as far as I can see. I'm not even exaggerating. If I forgot where I was, I would think I was in India. There are so many Indian restaurants around me. The area I live in is actually a nice newly built area (over the past 5 years.) It wasn't like this when I first moved to this area.

No offence to the amazing Indian people, as a Canadian I find the majority very helpful and good for our country. However, things changed 2015- onwards- there are large scam companies now that bring unqualified people by taking money from them and creating fake student permits for them. The issue with that is that these people are OK with subpar living standards and offer their services for less than minimum wage and this creates a shadow/ cash-based economy where taxes go unreported and quality of life does not improve. This is not good for anyone- not the Canadians and older immigrants who lose jobs to these people and must pay higher taxes to maintain the infrastructure needed for a larger population. Not to mention how these new immigrants are a bit uncultured and almost like the "red-necks" of India- they throw garbage around, do not learn English, never make friendships with other races/ethnicities.

I grew up in Edmonton in a very Indian part of town. It's not "Indian people " not at All!! Maybe mass migration is an issue, but it's not Indians. Maybe immigration scams but trust me, every Indian I lived with was civically minded. Blame the scams ...not the people! That's the federal governments fault!! If a 3000 sq ft home has 3 generations living then that would easily be anywhere from 5-12 people depending on the number of children or sibling the earning member(s) have. The only problem is when these homes are converted to rooming units. Otherwise it is perfectly legal for extended families to live under one roof as first immigrants to gain foothold and then move on!! The fore fathers of the current white population did this as well !! Also, these immigrants and students are NOT housed in hotels and such, it is the refugees from Syria, Palestine and Ukraine (and other war torn countries) that Liberals brought in that are housed in hotels. So this is misinformation. What I do notice is that these losers are jealous of the hard work that the indian immigrants are capable of doing and feel intimidated. If this is any comfort, many indians are actually choosing to go back to India as opportunities are better and more and they have seen what Canada has to offer. There needs to be responsible reporting happening not just interview any guy on the streets who has 0 knowledge of the current political scenario.

Has nothing to do with your skin or culture its not that deep and your not that special for most people to think about at all. Its the insidiousness of the actions and loopholes that are used by immigrants of all races or cultures that allow themselves to thrive. While the people born here of many colors get nothing but higher taxes to pay for the services that get totally abused. Birthright citizenship for people born here needs to end if the parents are not legit citizens. Housing capacity laws need to be created with fire code enforcement so you cant have more people living in a house than rooms available. All religious facilities even the white ones... need to be taxed. No more preferential treatment for visas because your related to someone who lives here already. As an Indian I am completely ashamed of the way Indians are representing our country outside and honestly I understand the point of view from the Canadians ,when u migrate to another country you are supposed to adjust to their culture and their principles but unfortunately these people have turned it into a mini india there which simantaneously affects a lot of Indians who live outside as well because they have to deal with stereotypical and racial comments.I am completely against the way they celebrate our festivals outside its a nuisance to both the countries.

For Canadians:- Improve your immigration policy, how the heck are you allowing so many people in a short amount of time? And what's that college scam, Some people from your country make fake Universities, contact people from abroad and make them come in Canada, then they take their money as fees and then flash! No such college existed. And foreign people are trapped there. Also, hire qualified people with degrees like the USA does. Indians are living in USA too, but it's not such a big problem in USA BCOS of their policies. Not everyone is wrong,but make sure to punish the wrong one's. Imply tough rules on cleanliness and job hirings. Instead of banning people from these countries, imply strict regulations on them. For indians or any other communitee:- Shame on you guys, no one is saying you to leave your culture or something. It's just that be like a Canadian, give jobs to other communities too. Maintain cleanliness standards of Canada, not india or any country. Follow canadian driving rules rather then any other countries. As an Indian living in India, I’d say it was your country’s government’s problem and mistake, similar to what the UK is doing now. Aside from government or policies, Indians immigrating to Canada is something that dates back to the British era, when Britain sent a group of Indians, specifically Sikhs, for security or labor work in Canada. This started the trend of Sikhs (turban-wearing ones) moving there. In modern times, the West was richer in terms of education and infra compared to Asia, which attracted many normal students and families immigrants also. Canada and America were built by immigrants, but now things are saturated, which I understand, and that’s where the resentment comes from. The majority Sikh state ( punjab) in India is still behind in development and job wise cooperation, and the historical pattern from the British era of moving to Canada for a better life has become a norm for many young people there. The close, collaborative nature of Sikhs—like a cousin in Canada inviting another cousin from India to come over, open a shop, work together, or share housing—is another reason many don’t hesitate to immigrate. These are some of the reasons behind mass immigration from India. Now, with saturation, the resentment toward immigration has grown. India itself faces issues with immigrants who live off our taxes, take rights meant for native children, and abuse policies, laws, or the environment. At least Canada has better-off immigrants—educated and contributing to the economy. While some may depend on taxes, most are hardworking and self-sufficient; otherwise, Canada’s economy would have collapsed by now. In end i can understand the hatred but you guys should stop this yourselves - not hunting them but prevent more.

Personally as an Indian, I really feel bad about it. Unfortunately, we DO go to other countries for a chance at better life and dignity, but a lot us Indians then start to feel privileged and entitled and do not adapt to the culture of the country they are in, and force their own cultures and individual beliefs. This sucks, especially as a young guy who dreams of living in other countries, while respecting their cultures and planning to adapt to them. Even in India too, we don't really pay much taxes since we know its gonna go into corruption anyway, so the Immigrant residents in Brampton may have carried forward that practice as their habit. No Indians or for that matter any other community enter Canada and choose to live their lives here if the Governments doesn't allow that. Please also acknowledge the fact that so many well educated Indians are coming here which is a huge brain drain and capital loss for India itself , just because it is not able to provide better job opportunities there. The problem is there are just to many off them. Then too many have gotten very arrogant saying thing like this our country now. Taking over cities street with loud music for some wedding and to those who also live on the street cannot even park there car or live in there homes due to the loud noise. No permit, just taking over. The other problem the last few years immigrations number have skyrocket and 90% of them our Indians. The government should have never let such a large group from one country enter. Meanwhile as climate change happen a lot of countries will be in trouble and the people will need to go somewhere. Iran has only 3% of there water reserve left. India has ruin there country and so has China with pollution and dumping of heavy metel in river and lakes. Meanwhile the Caribbean is expected to be unlivable in 15 and 20 years. The USA we are expected to lose 100 miles of our coastline. That area is where 50% of Americans lives. Pretty soon it will be everyone for themselves if certain country do not look at the long term picture. Also the lifestyle we are living today is just not sustainable.

The problem is immigration back in day was a luxury in India so only riches made it outside and they were rich compared to others after independence because they were more pro british and served them. So it was easy for them to immigrate and assimilate into your culture. Now you see many poor people also immigrating because immigration became more accessible, its just like the touchscreen phones, before only rich people had them, but later and now everyone has it. Plus your overly liberal and the stupid point system lets anyone enter the country if they meet a specific criteria, they barely check their english, background, crime record, etc. Also, living in India is a survival, or a nightmare for short. Especially for the poor people in the up north, and so they go to these shady agents who claim that they can send him or her to Canada, UK, Australia where ever they want in exchange for some money. Sometimes these agents turnout to be scams and sometimes not, then these students apply to some fake university that has no campus in Canada and select a course thats easy. Then once approved they come to canada, don’t go to university and make some other indian friends who say they have contacts with some job providers and through that the students get their jobs at the fast food joints and shopping malls. The mindset with which these students come to Canada is that I want to get a simple job as soon as I land in Canada and through that job I can get a PR. They never go to assimilate or discover the culture, they come because the country looks nice, has resources, and will provide them with a good salary so that they send some money back home to their parents as compared to low paying jobs in India, which too are super competitive. They still like the indian way of life, the culture, the food, the attire, just not in India. Thats why you’ll never see these students eating at anything other than a Indian Punjabi Restaurant or a fast food joint, they will never make white friends, they will never try to change the way they speak and look at Canadians, they will never try to change their driving habits. In conclusion, more poor people and students migrating, paired with their mindset of “I want everything to be Indian just not in India but in a place that looks better” paired with their low interest in actually learning and working better jobs is what makes them a bad immigrant group. But thats not to say that all are like that its only some and mostly Punjabis/ other North Indians that have this mindset. The reason why the Indian group in USA is much better and successful is because they are mostly of south indian descent. Those people are far more educated, actually respect the law of the land. And fun fact: The stereotypical Indian Accent originated from USA mainly and reason why many indians say that they don’t speak in that accent is because that particular stereotypical accent is present in Indian people who come from the states of Andra Pradesh and Telegana, which is is where most of the Indians in USA are actually from.
