If someone paid $10k for a birth, they probably had complications during the birth or the baby needed medical care, was premature etc. Not that they have crappy insurance. You need to do more research, you can't 'lead' your interviewee's, and you have to provide information, facts. There IS perhaps a story there, but you didn't find one worth telling.
