I purpose a Commission of Inquiry be created to investigate this issue and present the findings to the people of Canada. It would help identify where reform is needed and help individuals understand this topic. I take this issue seriously.

Someone who lives and studied the Canadian history in school, I can say that there is racism in Canada, but not as worst as USA is we are to compare, but that doesn’t mean Canada is innocent either. It has its fair share of racism in from the history until the present days. The government does make it seem they are washing their hands of their history and directing the attention to the USA than admitting they too have this problem. Just not obvious and worst.

This video did a decent job of presenting some evidence regarding systemic racism in Canada. While we are better than the US in this aspect, we still have large room for improvement. However, I disagreed with the comments at the end regarding prime Minister Trudeau's knee. At the very least, that is a symbolic move showcasing his solidarity and empathy with oppressed individuals and his commitment for a better future. A mistake 20 years ago shouldn't devalue his 20 years of evolution and growth. Hopefully, the knee is accompanied by efforts aimed at police reforms and improved mental health support.

There is discrimination here. I am from Latin American and it has been difficult to fit in this country but most importantly to find a job. I mean fit in because they look at me very weird. I don’t really feel part of the society here. As for work/job There are many companies that only want asian or only want white people. I think Canada should start asking companies to present how many black, Latino, Asian and white were hired.

Very well done movie. I live in Toronto,multicultural city. I was very suprised that in contemorary life of Canada the racism would be possible to be present in such tolerant country as Canada is in comparison with nationalism in USA. What I would like to know is why in the case of roxum road crossing we never saw any US officials there stopping people from illegally leaving the US hmmm! Why people think China will rule the world when it's citizens want a better life in places like Canada and America. There freedom is imaginary in China. Most of the people there are living in poor and poverty lifestyle. They see the 300 million who are making it, while the other 1 billion are not. I am czech, we relatively recently (1989) get rid of totalitarian communists here.I just do not get how is it possible that Canada or Muslims in general are so welcoming to the totalitarian systems - where women are forced to cover the faces.
