I am a double hater cant stand Trump and I am a farmer, i dont use immigrants because i just grow crops that can be mechanically harvested and I have a small farm, But in the past I used to manage large farms where we had a lot of immigrants most were illegal and people don't understand why they're illegal It's because there is an arbitrary cap on how many migrants can come from Guatemala and Mexico if they wanted to come legally just a normal worker They have a 60-year waiting list so it's just impossible to come here legally. Most of these people are very hardworking good people that come here to work for 5 to 7 years save up money and then go back to Mexico or Guatemala build a house and start a business in their own country. \n\nThis year i begrudgingly voted for trump because for me the biggest issue is with the federal and state regulations that make farming much harder than it needs to be especially regulations on diesel engine emissions that cost me tens of thousands of dollars a year and many months of not being able to use my equipment that I spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on. Immigrants, both documented and undocumented, commit crimes at a lower rate than natural-born US citizens. That is a statistically proven fact, and it makes sense considering that if we speed, we could get a ticket. If they speed, they might get deported. That's a fine to pay versus a potential death sentence... most people who immigrate here are trying to escape the very things they get accused of doing. Look, I'm not saying that people coming in illegally is a good thing, that every one of them has good intentions, or that border security is acceptable as it is.
