What was he thinking with his over immigration. And then there’s so called diploma mills from no name colleges made things even more worse. Canada needs to send international students back to India when they are fi disused there diploma . A study visa was never a promise to permit residency. If that didn’t make things worse you had the so called international students lined up at food banks to get free food how embarrassing that food is meant for people\nLiving below the poverty line and as a student on the application you have to check that little box saying you have enough money to feed yourself.

I am a Serbian and Canadian living in Canada for the last 24 years. I love \nthis country I respect this country but my God is so much different than it used to be or it is me. This summer I went with my kids and wife to 6 different countries in Europe Eastern Europe and Central and have seen 2 alcoholic then I come to Canada I see thousands of drug addicts on the street. everything is overpriced ppl do not enjoy in here. When I came in 2000 Serbian economy was low due to the war now it is better and Canadian economy is worse so the gap is very small. you need to make 6000$ to live just ok and I do live well but there is always but. I call it a pressure cooker, I wish all Canadian travel abroad a bit just to realize that they were lied too and that there's a lot of bs. I can give you an example: Condo in Belgrade same size property tax is 200$ per year condo in Qc Gatineau 2500$ plus condo fees 400$ per month basically 7000$ wasted for what? no dr wholes on the street broken system. It will be for sale. I agree paying taxes on my house where I live but for rental property when you deduct all the expenses you invested so much money without any profit. the one that works and the one that scams the system make the same amount of money and we live approx the same. something is wrong there. I will live for many years to come but definitely not spending my whole life here due to many circumstances and expenses. Family values are getting killed and I have issues with that. The more I was pushed to change the more I went to church and believed in old fashioned traditional values. As you said I will always be grateful for what I made but working hard for two jobs in the last 20 years I would make that somewhere else too. Canada has changed too much since I came that's for sure. What triggers me the most fake approach when ppl say I make 100k wow then you didn't get that, that is only on the pay stub. how much did you get 50k that is the real money then you need to add deductions house tax this tax, sewage, water it comes less and less and then you realize that in reality you make more but you spend so much more with less quality of life. who cares how much you make the question is how do you live with the amount that you make.?

Well, I am leaving, yes. Although I am very grateful with Germany, I work in IT, and I don't hold a diploma, but I have more than 20 years of experience in the field, I always been offered jobs beneath my experience, only because of a paper. I am Italian and was very enthusiastic when I arrive 4 years ago, but the way I was treated was mostly bad, that led me not wanting to study the language anymore, people were so agressive in the streets. When I needed the back of the justice, it was never on my favour, even when I was right, as I was hit in the street by a stranger who made my face bleed, police said that it was nothing and that it was the opposite, even when they had evidence. I was mistreated at a hospital in Schwabing, München and medical attention was refused, police didn't help and they requested my to litereally scream for help, and I did because I was bleeding on a place I didn't know, with -4 degrees, without any jacket. I even tried with the discrimination line, which doesn't work, and if you write them an Email, they will say they cannot help. I Will never understand that level of cruelty, not to mention 5000 Euros I had to pay for a ticket, because I suppousedly scratch the car of a person and because my Kaution was never returned, tried, but never got a lawyer, because you need to pay for the air you breathe in this country. ARD, what is that? You pay for the right of internet, and you pay internet as well, the desorganization with the states is massive, and often times, you will get a letter in your box post having to pay somehting else. My energy and money was completely drained. I just had it. Despite of everything, this country tought me great things, like discpline and hard work which I really appreciate and will take this knowledge...somewhere else. I also became better human being as a result of being exposed to all of the bad things. But I am isolated case, not everyone goes through these things, I did, and to me it was more than enough to wanting to Auf Wiedersehen. Unfortunaly Germany prefers to keep people who did not come to the country to add something, crazy as it seems, they would allow more people who rape, do not respect their culture and commit other crimes, instead of really welcoming people who came here to have a better life. Germany is currently too focused on other countries problems and failed on attending the needs of their citizens and the citizens who came to live here, including europeans, as myself. I truly believe that Germany is a beautiful country, München is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen, and has astonishing landscapes and vibrant nature. But...

So many Canadians in the same situation — perhaps use your Canadian passport ? so many better places for you to be… find a nice job across the border in the US — it’s so easy to get a TN work Visa, or work tax free in the UAE, or build a nice career in Singapore. I had the same problem with Australia — it’s my home, and my heart will always fondly call it home forever. Australia is a big country with small job market, generally ignorant (but nice) people and limited economic diversity. One gets proper civic amenities only in either Melbourne or Sydney e.g., top notch medical care, a wide variety of groceries etc. Taxation is very high and although some people will tell you “we are well taken care of…” that is not true nowadays. The Australian Government’s policies over the last 40 years destroyed manufacturing, the economy, working conditions and inflated the property market. A reasonable 2-bedroom apartment in a Sydney suburb could cost you Au$2000-3000 in rent or Au$500,000+ to buy — and that goes higher as you get closer to downtown Sydney. The problem is that incomes are not high enough in Australia and housing quality is less than average overall for these ridiculous prices. Food, tolls and petrol cost a lot, although Sydney and Melbourne’s fresh food markets give you better prices than you’ll find in most other cities. My wife and I had a combined income of over Au$300,000/year while we lived there. We finally left Australia and moved to the US because even with our relatively high income we could only have an average house for around Au$1.8 million, we couldn’t fill up the tub and have a proper bath because of water restrictions, our kids would get an average schooling and their only dream in life would be to one day own a house. We didn’t want to live like that, so we wrapped up and left for good. The US is much better for skilled people — I don’t mean plumbers, tilers, roofers or landscapers, although life is good for them too. I’m sure someone will reply to this comment about the gun violence in the US. All I can say is that in the US we have the option to defend ourselves whereas in Australia we are expected to quietly die if someone kicks us in the head, stabs us or shoots us. Quality of life is good here in the US for me and my family. Fly free, mate!

People are paying life long EMI till death.\n- Teachers focus more on Private tutions to make money. If you don’t take lessons from them, they will fail you in education system \n-Government doctors more focus on Private practices than their Government jobs. In ICU doctors sometimes sleep because they are tired for their private pactices.\n- Court takes decades to settle court cases. \n- Extremely high inflation - Food prices uncontrolled \n- Retirees not worked for Government getting hard time to pay bills specially medical treatment cost. As a native Jamaican, I can attest to the Canadian natives, that's how our government treats us also, they treat us as foreigners and strangers while providing all the best treatments to the actual foreigners.. A Jamaican has to wait for hours in a line even in the hot sun or the rain, while a foreigner would be attended to immediately as they arrive, and the list goes on, so I can sympathize with the native Canadians.. I'm not saying that they should not be treated with kindness and respect, but what about the born citizens?? Have they totally forgotten that the nation is actually the people, and the power that they possess was given to them by the people?? Vancouver real-estate is essentially a money laundering operation for rich foreigners looking to stash their money somewhere. Protections were put in place a little to late back in 2016 with the foreign buyers tax. But honestly most of these foreigners can either be exempt from this tax with their citizenship loop hole (anchor baby) Or honestly they just pay the fine since they can afford it and just need to get their money out of the country they are coming from. Its quite dystopian because building more homes like the government keeps promising isn't going to solve the problem either. This is because its just going to add more to the volume of housing that the foreigners can buy up from the locals and adding more fuel to the problem. Immigrations Canada is lying to new comers. To top it off, BC just recently passed a law in 2024 where you can no longer build single family residences in the lower mainland area. WHERE are the families going to go then? Can anyone even afford a family anymore? Vancouverites like myself who were diligent and saved every penny are walking away from mortgages in droves because who wants to lock into a 30 year term amortization period where at rate plus prime your looking at 5.5%-7% where the bank makes more than double in interest from you. Over the course of 30 years you still lose because even if your property appreciates past double. Capital Gains will take into effect. Your loosing money no matter what! It truly is a nightmare designed to enslave you financially. This is simply wealth creation suicide. Came from immigrant parents in the 1990s, I slaved for 10 years during my twenties, didn't come from wealth, didn't party, didn't have fun, studied hard, and started a business and I still cant break into the Vancouver market. So I ended up just barely squeaking into the market in Abbotsford. Vancouverites as a whole are screwed. Time to pack up and move to Alberta I suppose. I will also preface by saying that most of BC is empty and that it would make sense to built outside of the Vancouver area as Vancouver has now basically become fiscally unlivable. Love your videos, however I must say that you seem to be very naive about the reality, severity and frequency of racism in the US, no matter the area. It's not really your place as a white man to say that that person's complaints and fears regarding that are exaggerated (especially considering they had lived there for 6 years lol they didn't pull that sentiment out of thin air). in 2018 the government was saying that no one is taking min wage jobs. They are vacant and that sector is having a hard time filling in positions. The locals didn't want to work min pay jobs. Go study skill trade and build home for Canadians and then the government will give you PR no doubt. Sorry, but I didn't know 'so many people' were leaving Canada. In fact, my European friends living in Canada, LOVE Canada. Their number one reason? The government is for the people. Their numerous benefits, programs and services (employment Insurance, child benefit, pensions, benefits for housing, student aid, family benefits, grants and funding opportunities, disabilities and their recently implemented dental care plan), says it all. Sure the cost of living is high, but where isn’t? Especially after covid and especially if you want a decent quality of life. Their car insurance and phone plans are also expensive but they're getting better. Stay out of the big cities if you can't afford it. There are other parts of Canada that is affordable. \n\nBtw, the healthcare industry, particularly the long-term care sector is a good place to earn a decent living. They are always looking for RNs, PSWs etc. \n\nIn the end, the positives outweigh the negatives. Besides having free healthcare and the many generous social services and benefits, Canada is also a progressive country with strong social policies, including gender equality, LGBTQ+ rights and environmental sustainability, (we’re drinking out of those gross cardboard straws now. Hello?). Then there is our natural and breathtaking landscapes, our four seasons, our excellent education system, diverse communities, friendly people, our cool festivals (The Calgary Stampede, Montreal International Jazz Festival, Caribana, Toronto International Film Festival, Just for Laughs Montreal, Pride Toronto are a few that come to mind), our great air and water quality, strict gun laws, legal cannabis… I could go on and on.\n\nIf you're able to afford living in Canada, consider yourself fortunate.
