I think if you have given this much effort and time in India (your own country) then you would have easily scored really high numbers in education and secured a high-pay job or maybe a successful entrepreneur. seems you guys are misguided students who only fill the unskilled labor requirement of developed countries. However, Indian Gov should take interest and really STOP exporting the educated talent of our own country.\nI hope you have enrolled in education which cant be pursued with 1/3 cost in India itself.

I also think that example of a tweet you showed, was the worst piece of garbage that anyone could say and so unlike the average white person. I also think that racism against black people is against your YOUNG BLACK MAN. Who glorify gangs, guns, violence drug dealing. You guys know this is true. This happened in the US but I was working at Panera and two really nice ladies wearing burkas came to order some food and the old white guy cashiering refuses to cash them out because of what they are wearing. \n\nThat's straight up discrimination, I hope they didn't know why he wouldn't served them because that's horrible and he should feel ashamed. That was the first time I witnessed discrimination and I couldn't believe someone would do that, but I see it's common everywhere, the grass isn't always greener on the other side. I hope all these blatant racists get what's coming to them

You may be able to control discrimination and language through legislation, but you can never hope to control how people think about these same things. I am quite convinced this racism - in whatever form it takes is very much a inherent feature of the human condition - immaterial of ancestral heritage. I'm a white guy and have experienced racism all over Africa, the Caribbean and the Middle East.

I was in Toronto me and a friend he was a white guy and we pretend like we were a couple and as we were walking down the street people was staring at us and the police officers had said are you from the States we said yes and they said oh we thought so and I said why is that because I'm black and he's white they were very very prejudiced towards us as if no black and white couples walk down the street in Toronto that's the impression I had got hope things change by now but I'm afraid it probably haven't

While watching this- I see a guy who cares. I see a guy who wants to start his life. It just looks a lot to me like somebody who instead of working for 50 years and retiring- wants retirement and money- NOW. I know El Salvador is incredibly dangerous and money opportunities slim... but you just can’t save them all. The great cloud lingering over the heads of everyone born into a free land. There are billions of stories like Josè, however there are not billions of spots in the free world for these people. Some are luckier than others. Some work harder than others. This guy is an absolute disgrace, and is nothing but a bottom feeder. \n\nHere are my reasons why:\n\n1. Lived in the US for many years, yet chooses not converse in English. \n\n2. Thinks on the lines that hard working class citizens & legal immigrants will pay for the welfare of him & his entire family. \n\n3. Does absolutely no research in immigration laws, despite spending that many years in the system, and decides to enter illegally hoping everything is kumbaya on the other side of the border. \n\n4. I personally would love to live and work there, however in the future I will choose to apply and enter legally, and encourage everyone to do the same. Lol, the funniest part about most shoplifters is that they are usually white and the only reason they don't get caught is because no one is watching them or cares if they steal. Even when a worker sees them stealing, they let them get away with it. Smdh. I've seen it many times. One specific time some white guy walked so casually into the beverage aisle at Walmart, put 4 packages of 4 pk Redbull in his backpack, and walked away like nothing happened. Another time, this white guy went to the bulk candy section, loaded up his bag, security SAW HIM and stared at him leaving the store AND DID NOTHING! This white guy I used to work with ALWAYS STOLE HIS LUNCHES and jokingly admitted that he stole cause NO ONE WATCHES HIM OR CARES IF HE DOES! I SEE IT ALL THE TIME! So you little white people watching everyone else, I hope you all lose billions since you love to watch other people and not your own, LMAO!

This guy works hard; the manual labour he does isn't easy, and it's done in sub-zero weather (it can get down to -50 with windchill up near Edmonton). He's contributing to our economy and isn't a criminal; he's just trying to provide his family with a better life. For the same reasons my ancestors immigrated to Canada. Most of them didn't learn English for over 2 generations, but eventually we found our way and our culture became part of the broader Canadian culture. I hope the same happens for him and his family.

Speaking as a person who came to Canada and hopes to get a PR in the coming year: The view that Canada welcomes anyone can´t be further from the truth. If you are a skilled worker, you´ve gone to school and you are relatively young, getting a citizenship is very straightforward, but if you don´t, Canada won´t have you, and you know what? it´s OK: all countries have the right to determine their immigration policy and enforce it. Canada´s point system is very transparent, you can calculate your points by yourself online. Not here to judge that guy, but a little research might have saved him a lot of trouble.
