If they can figure out how to illegally enter the US they can figure out how to make a living in the country they came from or legally enter the US. That said, we need to start prosecuting anyone helping individuals that break US immigration laws.

As a Texan I came to have distain for the States of New York and California pushing policies and legislation that made no sense and even seemed anti-American. Texas has transformed in many ways for the negative due to the amount of illegal immigration that has taken place over the last 20 years.

I sincerely don't understand why people have an issue with people who came here illegally getting deported. It's not at all racially motivated or discrimination. Whether they are serious criminals or just entered illegally - it is not right for them to be here, or be provided services paid for by tax paying Americans. As an educated American citizen, If I want to move to UK or European countries I have to jump through many hoops, prove I have my own money to support myself, and possibly meet a language requirement. Why is it that we just accommodate anyone who wants entry to USA? It baffles me. I have friends all upset about deportations and it's ridiculous. I can't understand why we bother to have any laws if we don't enforce them? I have 2 family members who immigrated here LEGALLY. That's the only way it should be allowed and we should up the requirements to gain entry as well.

I am from Venezuela, we came in 1980, it took my parents 3 years to receive our green cards, my father used an attorney, we stood in line at the immigration office over and over multiple appointments, in regards to the lady saying she is from Venezuela my heart is with her because how bad Venezuela has become, but please everyone remember that we meaning US has been allowing them to come in this way, we been allowing it, it is completely wrong to do that, will you invite someone to your house unconditionally? Well nothing like that, I live in Canada and can verify that. Problem is quality of immigrants, especially student is trash in Canada, Australia and Europe. They come to shady universities for studies, work full time both legally and illegally rather than studying and at end of their education, they have a fake degree with zero value. Just like most of the new graduates in India who have a degree with no practical value. \nIf you have a good degree, right skills in tech and some experience, there are tons of opportunities in Canada. I cuss Canada everyday but that's because I lived 10 years of life - studies and work in USA. So whether I move to Canada or any other country in the world, I would do the same as US has no equal in the world. I lived in US for 10 years, then India for 3 years and came to Canada 3 years back. I would still move to India after getting Canadian citizenship, but not because Canada has something bad or India has something exceptional to offer, but because I want to live with my parents in India. Thats the reason I left US but came to Canada to get a backup.

What I don’t get is America isn’t against immigrants coming to America (the legal way) but people want to protest coming here illegally and are upset people are getting deported because they didn’t come the legal way. I work with a ton of guys that came to America the legal way and are all for deporting the illegals back to where they came from. The legal immigrants work hard and pay taxes and illegals don’t pay taxes they get benefits and haven’t paid their dues like the legal immigrants had to do to get in. Taking care of illegals takes away from Americans getting the help they need and we have to pay taxes. They protest and wave the Mexico flag holding signs saying “Immigrants built America” and $hit on the things America has done for them. If they built America and are so proud to be from Mexico then why don’t you build Mexico up like you say you did in America. If it’s so great why are you coming to America illegally and running from your country. We have no right to withhold safe refuge from those fleeing death and oppression. Instead of hanging with dictators, maybe our highest national “leader” should return to his original mantra of demanding other nations provide safety for their own, so that their own stop feeling the need to flee. This is the vast majority of migrants’ character. We can separate law breakers from the masses, without accusing the masses of criminality.

If you came to America illegally, you committed a crime, and you need to go, PERIOD! Respect America and take all the LEGAL steps to be here. No other country allows this! In Canada people will pay $20K-$30K dollar to business owner to get fake letter to get work permit or PR and then they do cash some at other business. we pay bribe to get driving license. Our Indian who are the mortgage broker do mortgage fraud. When Canada gave massive visa to indian you never made story but now when visa is getting rejected you came up to show sympathy but do your duty diligently and pick core reason why it's getting rejected.

You don t come to USA if you don t know where to leave period .It has been like that for years.Normally from the airport you have to fill the adress of who will host you or the person who sponsored you.\nAnd by immigration standard you should not come here to be a charge and take advantage of the welfare system .From the USA ambassy where you postule for a USA visa everything is designed to avoid those kinds of situations .If you dont have a place to stay then ICE has to send you back to where you came .USA has been almost like that for years???.\nIf you cross the border illigaly you have to be detain and expulse automatically.\nSeeking asylum don t mean it as to be in USA only .There are so many countries crossed by those migrants that could and should take them as asylum seekers unless those countries did not sign the asylum seekers international treaty.

If they are illegal immigrants, and didn't apply for citizenship, what's the problem with sending them back to their countries? And their countries have to take them back. If you get deported as an illegal immigrant, you should be able to take your children with you. What about us who came here legally and we paid to get our citizenship and went through so much processing to get here legally while others can just cross the borders illegally and get citizenship somehow. They were not screened if they have criminal records and they didn't go through a health inspection like we did. The law is law and it should always be implemented, no exceptions. I have met someone who was not a U.S. citizen but she gave birth on an airplane above the U.S. territory and her son became an automatic U.S. Citizen. I thought that was weird. The children should maintain the same citizenship as their parents so they will not be separated. Birthright citizenship has divided and dislocated families. This law meant that the U.S. government will take the baby away from the parents because they have no citizenship and put their children in the Foster Care Home Systems? That doesn't even make sense to separate a family, this law is a home wrecker. It needs to be abolished ASAP.

The Indian immigrants that came in the 70s and the 80s are good people and raised their family well. Not the recent ones who throw food on the street.

I earned my permanent resident status back in 2001 and joined US ARMY during war in terror and served for 8 years. While serving, I was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan in the middle of hot zones, dodging grim reaper's radar for many, many times. When I finally earned my US citizenship through military, I seamlessly transitioned into law enforcement career in New York for past 10 years, which I encountered with many illegal criminals with rap sheets- which some makes you think why they are still wondering in the street instead of locked up in the jail, having their freedom taken away. What is funny is that many of these illegal criminals have such an entitled mindset that they are deserve to be here in US without permit do whatever they want and enjoying these unbelievable benefits that these sanctuary city/state provides that we, us citizens don't even get- and we are paying for it with our hard earned money. I think I earned my citizenship with blood and sweat, same goes to many immigrant hopefuls that came to U.S with true American dream. It is time to take back our country and I 100% support with Trump's decision on this.

This is addressed mainly to the ugly Indian: My generation came to the racist west and built a golden reputation. We worked hard, assimilated, paid our taxes, and obeyed the laws. We were humble. We celebrated our native cultures within the confines of our communities. While it was frustrating to be invisible in white culture, we never sought to conquer them with our culture. We were ethical to the hilt. Our generations were poor -- yet we struggled to help others in India and in the west. We were NEVER on the dole. Personally I think it is rude to enter a nation (in the west or anywhere in the world) with naked opportunism. Speaking for myself -- despite neocolonialism, I admired western civilization, especially its older forms. \n \nBut the ugly Indian who comes now is loud, brash, socially irresponsible, exploitative, money-hungry, opportunistic, and arrogant beyond belief (full of the hubris that comes from sudden new wealth). They look down on us who have been here a while. They are used to a servant-culture and look down on white working class people, as if they are servants. As for second generation Indians in the west, they can be racist towards us first generations. But the opposite is true as well. Indian newcomers see them as an alien species. Indians do tend to hire their own and stick to their own identities -- I do not mean the Indian identity, but their native state identities. All this feeds into the primary and secondary forms of western racism that are already simmering beneath the surface. This new genre of Indians is destroying the goodwill we have built. I have personally witnessed arrogant young Indian students cutting the line to reach the front desk. No manners, no ethics. As a first generation Indian immigrant I get annoyed. So why shouldn't native born westerners (who are already racist)? \n \nBut to complain about how they smell is rude beyond belief. This must stop.

Let’s be honest.Another reason is the unbelievable amount of illegals from India. Look no further than in Canada. They came and stay.
