I know I will get attacked in the comments for this, but I grew up in the US watched many presidents come and go, and I have never seen the country that I live in turn so corrupt and evil in my life we have been lied to by our president. A man I did not vote for and it almost feels like it is turning into a fascist regime. I think it is time for me to leave and move to Canada because at least they know the difference between right and wrong. my family, a long time ago fled from fascist Germany and came to America because back then it was the land of the free it terrifies me to know that my family ran from that only to end up right back where it was before in the future my prayers go out to every American citizen and hope that you all rise up, right and left and independent and do what you can to get this dictator out of office. Remind me again why Trudeau was forced to resign? Even NY Times investigative journalists recently explained how NAFTA worked against US interests and killed so much of our industry decades ago; almost the opposite of what was intended. Trade needs to be reformed across the board. It's also insulting the way other world leaders are now speaking directly to the American Public and lying to them as if they have our best interest in mind. World leaders are elected to defend the interests of their own people, many times they just look out for their own personal interest, but they are definitely not looking out for American interest. It is up to us. The world stage is a complicated transaction of this for that. That's life. Have you all forgot playing United Nations in high school? Trade needs to be renegotiated from significantly benefiting every other country but USA. Trump is trying to do that.

I’ve been operating an import export business for 25 years throughout the entire time It has always been more expensive to clear goods from Canada into the USA than the other way around. Meaning there was already a trade barrier in effect to Canada’s detriment. This is just insult to injury. I wish the White House looked at the facts on the ground rather than fantasy. These tariffs are unnecessary.
