At least from what I have seen in Ghana, people are starting businesses.\n\nI am going to say something I observed about Ghana. I found out that women, as usual, are more hard-working. I realised that the men don't have work because they are lazy or have too much pride. I have watched so many videos where so many business owners complain about the ineffectiveness and inefficiencies of the workers. They are not dedicated when they work for other people. I watched these business owners whose workers in the farms are mostly women, and they were very happy that women are easier to control and have good work ethics as opposed to men. The men prefer jobs where they don't use their energies such as Yahoo Yahoo boys, selling in shops where they don't touch anything or lift a finger.\n\nGrowing up, we knew that men were supposed to do the hard-working jobs in society. But these days, men like to idle around and touch nothing. The reasons being that the African culture teaches us that men are not supposed to do anything at home. They are supposed to be served by women. Then, instead of the men going out there to do the hard work and make the money, they wait around expecting cushy jobs that don't make them lift a finger.\n\nLook at China that you mentioned. These boys work absolutely hard. Even in the villages. Look at Muslim countries. You will never see women working on the streets. The men are even the ones who cook the food on the streets and sell. Check countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. In Africa, most things are done by women.\n\nAll this japa that people are fighting for. Have we ever thought of the agenda of these people needing free and cheap labour? I came to realise that we stupid Africans don't yet understand. Our children eventually become strangers, and we remain just surrogate parents. Most of our children are never going back to Africa, and when they get to an age, they become like strangers to us. Whatever we say, they look at us like archaic. What then makes them Africans anyway. We have seen so many of them who barely know their countries of origin and have never ever been there. They do not know their relations. In fifty years' time, that generation has lost their roots, and was that our intentions initially? This all dawned on me recently with my children, and I feel absolutely dejected because they are not interested in our country. All my hard work is gone down the drain, and all that can happen is for us to leave our children behind and live like people who never had children in the first place. For now, most people see it like something to be proud of, and are happy to say ( my children live abroad). Africans are the most stupid people I know, and that is why we are always used for slave labour. Why are they all approving all these visas and allowing all these people to drown at sea? \n\nThese countries allow these fake visas deliberately because they drain African countries to enrich their own since they can't get the minerals easily these days.

This is why i like watching your videos @chokormillionaire no matter how lengthy, even though i don't have time i will create out time.

A lot of people are definitely NOT okay with working 40 hrs a week(not counting unpaid lunches) for basically pennies, only having 2 weeks per year minimum for any paid time off and having to live paycheck to paycheck just to have a roof over their heads. They probably don’t appreciate losing their jobs for trying to form unions to advocate for the slaves who can’t even afford to get their car or house fixed, while watching spoiled rich kids living in luxury online and they probably wish their government would take a stand against these corrupt, rich people.

I was watching a documentary yesterday about people in the USA who have had bad luck and are struggling to survive. They live in their car but they have job's. It's just not enough for rent. And here comes the immigrants demanding all these privileges just because they feel they deserve it. Privileges that some of us that get up to work every day we don't even have.

I think you need to do some reading up on gun violence in the US vs Canada if you are so shocked. The numbers are very high for the US. Canadians spend a lot of time watching american news sources to see what fresh hell our neighbours are participating in. \n\nI have a hard time finding the motivation to even travel to the US and I want to do so only to visit family history locations. And some beaches. But I have decided not to go cross borders.

*Excuse you*, Canada is a BIGGER, better version of what the USA is trying to be. BIGGER. More land mass up here, and it's really nice when it's not snowing. Maine seems nice, but most places are too expensive or too crazy. TYVM but absolutely not. I wouldn't trade my multicultural society for the world. Aside from the fruit loop fanatics, the gun laws and mass shootings, the ridiculous health care system that can't seem to provide care to people who need it, there's so much more about the USA to dislike. I would 100% go to the us for vacation even for a whole month, but it’s a big NO to move over the border. \n\nReasons why: \n\n1. i won't even visit amurica. the fact this is 5 days old and the guys making the video doesn't seem to realize there were over 200 mass shootings in the US in between january and may of this year. i don't see a need to watch the rest of it.

No way.. I did lived there for a year and could not wait to return home to my safe place. I also watch the news and the gun laws and new abortion rights over there are so out of date, in addition I see way to much political divide and religious influence to make it a desirable place to go. Curious as to why you immediately bailed on the whole issue of vanishing rights for women in the US? I can't even imagine being a woman of child bearing age or the mother of a daughter who could end up with an unwanted pregnancy. I would be leaving ASAP. It boggles my mind the way the US is rapidly backsliding into the early 1800's when it comes to the rights of anyone other than a white straight middle class or wealthier man. The rest of the world is watching in horror. Nice place to visit (in parts), but no way I could live there. Sorry, eh.

As a Canadian that immigrated from the US over 50 years ago, NO WAY! I still have relatives there, even a brother who lived most of his life in Canada - from age 10 to 50 - lives in the US, and I won't even visit him. Find a lot of the area where you would go as a tourist, full of arrogant a'holes (including my brother). If have, to admit that I do enjoy watching your channel, and I am sure that there are a lot of nice people in small town America, but I have to agree with many of the submissions you read. Don't like the politics, gun violence and political attitude to it, the treatment of minorities, the treatment of women, the villinization of the LGBTQ2 community, the book bans in the schools - MAJOR PROBLEM - the school curriculum being adjusted to reflect history in a whitewashed manner.....I could continue.....but my answer is an obvious HELL NO!

Right now, the US is really perceived as a quite mentally and socially disturbed society, fascist, mysoginistic, gun violent, extreme religious, greedy, racist, bigot, anti everything not white, male and hetero. I don't even vacation in the US. If the US doesn't wake up now, it's gonna be too late. You have a great president who's doing a lot for the 99% and still, Trump might be the next president with a little help from his Russian and Chinese friends. The one thing I didn't see in the comments you read is EDUCATION. If education , higher education was more affordable and didn't leave people with mega debts, your population would have more critical thinking and be less manipulable by the far right maga fascist white supremacist movement. I'm going to answer this before even watching the video. My reasons for not moving to the U.S. are straightforward: 1) my career entrenches me here; and 2) the financial problems Americans face over the private medical insurance system are a huge deterrent. Other problems: politics is too polarized and too many guns. It gets tempting to move there though. You can have pretty much whatever climate you want (tropical, dessert, mountains, boreal forests, etc.) and it's the world's economic heartland. Things in Canada aren't perfect either. American median income is now 40% higher than that of Canada. That's shameful.

As a Canadian who lived in the US (and all over the US) for over five years, I just wanted to comment on this video. \n\nIn your video, you seem to be shocked with Canadians reactions to school shootings and health care in the US. Much like Americans paint all of Canada with one brush, Canadians do the same. We watch American news channels more than Canadian news channels, and we read news from American sources more than Canadian sources. American news really is designed to scare people, and Canadians are easily scared! Not all of us consume only American news sources, but most of us do, and that’s just simply based on the fact that Google, Facebook, CNN, ABC, etc. are American companies. Yes of course there are safe communities and cities in the US, and yes of course if you have a good job you probably don’t have to worry much about health care.\n\nDuring my time in the US, I lived in Miami, Chicago and Seattle. I didn’t like Miami. It’s kind of another world down there. Seattle was ok. Chicago though… I absolutely loved living there. And if given the opportunity, that is where I would live for the rest of my life. People will say “Chicago! It’s so violent and problems blah blah”, but like you said, there are areas, even in big cities, that are super safe and fun to live in. \n\nI live in Toronto now, and I wouldn’t hesitate to move back to Chicago if given the opportunity. The food scene, the music scene, the sports scene, and the unbelievably friendly people. Such a great town.\n\nAnyway, love the videos. Keep it up!

Never lived in the US but have visited a lot. I do have family in Washington state and I really enjoy visiting that part of the country. I didn't like New York and California only because of the sheer amount of people. Way too many people for my liking. Walking down the streets I felt like I was being shoulder checked with every step. In some smaller areas, absolutely loved the people and communities. Very friendly, and I find Americans to be very patriotic which I absolutely love! Health care and gun violence would be enough to keep me away though. Now in 2023, I find America becoming political polarized. Just watching the news is enough to raise my blood pressure (which I don't even have). If I got a chance to leave the snow behind, I think I would choose overseas on a island somewhere. Also at the age where I want peace and quiet. Raised kids already so more on the downlow and quite beach life. Thanks for your videos Tyler you are definitely one of my favorite Americans. Tyler, I very much appreciate your insightful thoughts. I have been watching your videos for the past few months and you regularly make me smile with your analyses. I have to join the many people who have responded and will also say no to the question. I last visited the US 4 years ago when I drove through upper Michigan to northern Wisconsin. The scenery was delightful and the people in the small communities were wonderful. What really scared me was all the billboard signs advertising guns in Michigan. I was very aware of my driving and tried not to do anything that might annoy someone and cause road rage. That is so unfortunate that you have to worry about the driver next to you. I have not been back to the US since and do not plan on any future visits even though I would dearly love to take my camper to the many beautiful, natural parks your country has.

Although, I love here in BC Canada, but good to speak out truth! thank you for your true and reliable facts sharing. I agree every country has issues and here everything is slowly improving too, but it is frustrating to watch such problems that are solved in most least developed countries a decade ago. You can see someone sobbing from pain and yet to wait a week for doctor (feels to me meeting butchers :)). You can see many surgent and talented Intern/Indian doctor, experts and engineers doing labor work, are not they even capable for general basic services?! Solutions and resources are a lot but no body pick them up! as if it is a concession force not to. Say more about diversity but less inclusion of Asians.

Your suggestion that potential permanent Snow Birds just need to do their homework to select a community suited to their personal philosophy is a good one, as long as the Cdn heading south has the most marketable skills on the planet. In the current economic climate, you look for work, then relocate when you find a job that ticks enough boxes. If you are the breadwinners for a young family there are a LOT of boxes to consider. Even if you are an actual Snow Bird (retiree) you often come home when you health starts to decline. The US has lots of touristy things I might enjoy visiting, but I watch enough US news to know that most of what I do know comes from movies & TV, which has nothing to do with real life.

American here who spent three glorious years in Canada (Montréal) for university. I fell in love with the country and have visited all ten provinces and one territory. I desperately wanted to stay in Canada and was so emotional that I literally cried when my student visa expired and I had to return to the States. Fast forward 40 years, I've had a pretty good life here in the States and was able to retire comfortably at 55. I hesitated to watch this video because I thought it would make me feel bad about my situation, but I think it (and the comments) actually made me feel OK with how my life turned out. I now realize that no place is perfect -- not even Canada.

i used to feel for these people i really did, then i started travelling to 3world countries and have learned that every misery they face in there is a result of their own culture/mindset and i started to have no mercy and today I am fully ‘MAGA and have no mercy for any of them. Latin here, I came here legally but I can tell you that it was difficult as hell for my mom to bring me here, it took money and years for that, but I want you as a fellow citizen to understand their situation first, in Latin America you could be graduation from college and even with that having a good job it’s difficult sometimes, unlike here education in Latin America is not always something that all people can get and every time they vote for someone it becomes more trashier, housing for the poor doesn’t even exist, half of the country is corrupt and going outside you don’t who you may find, my brother needs to wait 7 years to become a resident (not citizen) he will be 30 something at that point, what the government should do is make the residency easier and I can tell you something like this wouldn’t occur that easily, my mom is a lawyer in my country and I can tell you the situation wasn’t easy, every three times a week there would be shooting outside my house, drug dealer was my neighbor, and at the age of 15 there would parents of two kids the sad part all this is normal, stopping it is imposible because it gets you kill, the police will kill you for doing a peaceful protest just to stop feminicide, wanting your kid to go outside without being scare something would happen to them, this people want peace and a job that is it and when your own country doesn’t even give you the right for that how could you live? Latin America is like living in the worst state in U.S multiply by 1000 and happening the same thing every day, riots or protest are imposible there because you know the police will never go the peaceful way, what this people are doing is wrong but they just want to live, it even surprise how much people hate their president here when in Latin America there hasn’t been any good president in decades. I'm going to start with my bedroom wall. And work my way up the ladder. I say no to all walls. Even the ones in swimming pools. I say if your a red blooded patriotic American you need to start planning a trip to the border to tear down that exist racist wall that is keeping those south Americans, Chinese, Russian, and Romanian refugees from coming here with ease. The cartel may not be happy with this but we need to make sure that every person from any country no matter what the situation can freely cross any border at any time. It only makes sense.

Most of these Venezuelans don't even have idea how capitalist job market works. They watched too many movies thinking that will be their life. \nThese uneducated people will rot on the streets as homeless, lose custody of their children or become habitual criminals. If even Mexicans struggle despite being used to a competitive market imagine these people.

This was a fantastic place to grow up. However, over the last 8 years I’ve watched it quickly turn into a far left, authoritarian 2nd world dump. There was and is so much potential here, but it is being utterly wasted. Sad part is, a large percentage of Canadians don’t even seem to realize what is happening.

It’s not about where you are but who you are where you are. If you ran to the US with spirit of lust, prostitution, drug dealing, anger, bitterness, rage , unforgiveness, lying, stealing, killing or destruction, you will encounter the same hardship you encountered while in your own country. After watching this video if you think that what is going on in Canada is not crazy, then take note of the fact that Trudeau government is also making it even harder for gas and oil companies, mineral extraction and even farmers to basically do their job. While Norway, Arab countries and even US are ramping oil and gas production, in Canada Trudeau is concerned more about increasing carbon tax and the rainbow flags. Honestly I'm very disappointed in this country, it's becoming worse and worse here. Prices are through the roof, housing is insanely expensive, even car prices are higher than in USA. Many people have to maintain 2 or even 3 jobs just to survive. And if you are a recent graduate or an immigrant professional, good luck finding a good job. You probably will end up in a minimum wage job that barely allows you to rent a room in someone's basement, pay for your most expensive in the world cell phone plan, expensive cars.... and wait 6 months to go see a medical specialist. If you're thinking of immigrating to Canada, better consider Europe, USA or developed countries in Asia. I was lucky because I bought property back in 2016. Now it appreciated so much that I'll probably sell and move to a different country. Hard times are ahead for Canadians, Canada is gonna become Cuba #2 very soon

I live next to a drop off destination for Joe Biden's migrants. I would have to say they appear to be victims of the Democrat party, in that, like many other groups of people they have been lied to or given false hopes of success or prosperity. It is evident every morning when about thirty men gather in groups awaiting, perhaps a local contractor, to drive up and offer them a few hours of work, digging a hole or some other menial task. We also now have these corner Hey Cocos fruit stands where another of Joe's migrants sits for hours, making a couple bucks, at best, and a few more for whoever owns the cart and provides the fruit. I can only imagine where all these men must be sleeping at night, who might be paying for their space on a garage floor. Their only relief comes from gathering at the park across the street to use the barbecues and tables, and share a meal. For some the meal leads to beer and drunkenness. I watched the police send five of them back to the garage since they were all in a car drinking, even an open alcohol container in CA is illegal. If I were one of them I would have been arrested, but these lucky Biden immigrants were simply told to walk away. I hope the police at least impounded the car. Ten o'clock on a Sunday morning, people jogging, people walking their dogs, unaware of Joe Biden's guys, ready to drive away in drunken bliss. Thank you Joe. Thank you Democrats, you have created another group of dependents at least you can give them free health-care, I suppose that's one way to say they have improved their lives by coming here.

I’m shocked this is even being mentioned …. There are people regularly jumping the fence and running across freeways …. It’s almost a daily news update here in El Paso the latest police chase that happens everyday… cars drive into a house flip over in a ditch or off a mountain always smugglers fleeing here. But the more people know the more they realize so can’t let them know….. our freeways have signs that say watch for pedestrians just normal life here now theses signs in middle of main freeways??‍♂️

They should rush they're own government like this and make the change they are seeking when they come here !!
