If this is what it takes to teach these people who voted against their own friends and families, so be it. I have lost all sympathy for the right wing. They went full religiously driven nutty with an obsession with believing every little crazy story and never looked back. Every person I meet that give me cooky vibes or talks about Jesus or some sort of outdated fucked up thing is a Trumper and nothing will change their minds. Everyone now has at least one relative who, on the surface, would appear to be a perfectly logical person but ask them to justify why they love Trump so much and they give you some totally wacky fact or false claim about some sort of random thing in our world like social security or trans people or immigration and cant seem to wrap their minds around the idea that it isn't true and that those claims are being used to manipulate them.

Immigrants, both documented and undocumented, commit crimes at a lower rate than natural-born US citizens. That is a statistically proven fact, and it makes sense considering that if we speed, we could get a ticket. If they speed, they might get deported. That's a fine to pay versus a potential death sentence... most people who immigrate here are trying to escape the very things they get accused of doing. IT'S A LOGISTICAL PIPE DREAM, money and morals not withstanding:\nThere are about 800,000 law enforcement personnel in the entire U.S. from local to Federal level, incl. FBI, DEA, etc. There is NO way of deporting 11,000,000 people. It takes 4-6 law enforcement officers to make 1 regular felony arrest, more if there is more danger (i.e. SWAT, etc.). One would have to ask every single officer from local to Federal to essentially arrest and deport 12-13 people EACH - and stop doing all other law enforcement work to do that. And here's the other thing: \n\nU.S. citizens do MORE crime per capita than ANY immigrant community, be it legal or illegal. This is conveniently not mentioned by the MAGA and the right. Insurrection is one of the lowest acts any American can do, let alone a U.S. President. Trump states that the “insurrection” falls under immunity for “official acts”. Since when is “insurrection” an “official presidential duty”? Trump is a known Master Liar. This is beyond a moment when a president estimates, guesses and exaggerate numbers, figures and facts. Trump just lies – over 2k+ lies. Trump cannot be trusted in telling Americans the truth. Every time Trump opens his mouth, a lie flies out! Trump doesn’t appear to be able to help himself. One lie after another. Spreading the lie that the 2020 election was “stolen” and not providing legal evidence is an unforgivable act that Americans should #NEVER forget. MAGA, selected GOP, Christian Nationalists don’t appear to be troubled that Trump cannot tell the truth. To me, the truth strengthens the bond of trust – I have NO Trust for Trump! MAGA, Christian Nationalists and some selected GOP – I may use big words that you don’t comprehend such as: Liar, Convicted Felon, sexual misconduct, Insurrection, Fraud, election interference, Unauthorized Possession of classified documents. These are some, not ALL, of the words that defines Trump and his actions. These things do NOT appear to cause any concerns with the 71.2m people who cast their vote in the Nov 5th ’24 presidential election. Trump had unauthorized possession of classified material. (I am not certain what Classified Material Trump possessed, but if these documents would put my friends, my family and I in harm’s way – it’s a problem.) Again, those who voted for Trump, the 71.2m people, #NEVER thought about this. If they had, Trump would #NEVER have received their vote. America has a short attention span. How quickly have we forgotten that Trump’s inaction of Covid-19 could have prevented many from becoming ill and millions losing their lives. (If one of your loved ones have passed due to Covid-19, you will remember Trump’s inability to deal and handle the situation. It is something you will #NEVER forget.) I will not write a book here, but the listed reasons above is why Trump may be the 47th President of the United States, but he isn’t my president. My president would have #NEVER done these things to an American.

Mexico #1 form of legal GDP is the money that legal and illegal immigrants send back to Mexico that money never returns to the USA economy. They also affect supply and demand. I'm from South Africa and after watching docs on different countries I just realise that every country has its problems, I didn't battle 1 bit when looking for a rental for my son, it's a bachelor flat but very neat, modern and he cn afford it, in fact there are a lot of vacant rentals, buying is another thing, also way too expensive

The process is not the same as it was in the 80s when they did not require renewal every couple yrs w high $ and rules to return to home country for a set amount of time risking losing your home/job/business etc. Some renewal process for green cards have sped up but still takes 6-1yr and a new green card renewal and new one for Mexico can take 1-3yrs for approval. So someone that’s been here +20yrs will have to leave everything they have built here to go wait quite a long time. Its not if you agree how they got here, its what they have done in our country since being here. They add to our economy, +80% pay taxes to never get any of those benefits and they open businesses employing people etc. If they have been here committing a list of crimes then no i don’t agree but majority of immigrants don’t do that. I agree our border needs protection and security. Majority of the left do agree w that but gop don’t want solutions they want to just shut it down completely and thats not right. We have always been a country of opportunity and growth for everybody. Thanks to the Government allowing foreigners to buy up Canadian property starting in the 80s, then they kicked out existing tenants, jacked up the rent and rented to other foreigners. That started homegrown landlords to do the same thing. The cost of living increased every year as the minimum wage stayed frozen for several years. Our own government destroyed everything good that Canada was, pre 1985.

I would keep in mind that there's no safe place and no guaranty. Every country has it's problems or the possibilities of inheriting new ones! Our heal care sucks, but it's there and free for most. Crime is everywhere, all over the world and so is poverty. Canada has one thing you can always count on that no other place has, an alliance between all cultures and various backgrounds without prejudices. Equal rights for all. A place of common sense. I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. The other thing I have to add is that the word racism is thrown around too much and too easily in our current woke cultural climate here in Canada and this is just making the immigration issues worse because it produces a culture of fear for those Canadians that would like to help educate those immigrants that need help. But they do not do so because they are afraid of being labeled a racist or some other word and having their livelihoods and overall lives ruined. I am in a position in life where I do not care if people want to say such things about me. I am also well educated and in the position to come up with well articulated arguments in my defence. My main issue with immigration that bothers me more than the rest not only affects us Canadians but also affects the immigrants as well. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Highways that were built using tax payer money were sold to companies and now Canadians need to pay to us it. Most grocery stores are owned by a few major companies and I see butter prices rising every few months. A 1L carton of cream at my local store is $8! I won't talk too much about housing cause it's obviously sh**. I will say a couple of years ago the Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford (my greatest enemy), was releasing the protection of the green belt, a protect part of Ontario used for agriculture. He said he would use it to build new homes, great right? NOPE. First of all, the green belt is used for food to reduce prices for Canadians cause its local. He has stated he would move it to another location but that land there is less fertile. The worst thing is, the reason he is saying he would use the green belt to build houses is because the land there is very valuable. And guess who owns that land? His BUDDIES! That means he would sell that land to developers and his buddies would get all the profit cause the money developers use to buy the land will directly be put on the buyer. Not to mention, Doug Ford, the same person, since his instatement as premier, has cut the Ontario education budget by 50%. 50%!!!! ABSOLUTELY UNREAL. Can't even afford air conditioning in schools where the weather is so extreme. Rogers? The largest internet provider in Canada? Absolutely cr*p. So many complaints about bad connection and cutoffs which I also experienced when my mom bought one of their products and my internet was sh** for a couple of months. The ONLY, and I mean only, good major thing Trudeau has done is legalize marijuana. Another thing I forgot to mention is that our government is made up of criminals. Doug Ford, he and his family use to partake in drug dealing. Another major complaint is the ttc which is public transportation costing so damn much! As a student, it costs me over $1000 a year to get to school using the ttc. The times aren't even that great either as even on a major road, I had to wait 25 minutes to get a bus. Thats my rant.

The only thing I would say cause you seem to be very young. Is that brampton actually in the 70's and to early 2000's used to be mostly a white and black community and then other cultures. I am born in Toronto I have a cousin born in Toronto who currently lives in brampton she owns a house in brampton for about 25 years. And is going through a lot mentally with the slamming. We got of people from India mostly in the last 2 years, but it's been going on slowly over 10 years and she's not doing well with the overwhelment of Indians and we're of black Jamaican heritage. So just so you know, brampton used to actually be white and then black was actually the second largest population and everybody else was after that. And then in the last 10 years they started coming but it wasn't in hundreds of thousands and then in the last 2 years it blew up insanely. As that man described is like an invasion. I now live on the West Coast of Canada and the same thing has happened here. And it's been a lot for me Canadian born. I've always grew up with every culture. I've lived and worked around the Indians that used to come here were literally not even on the radar. I mean you see them, but you just they just blended in because most of them had assimilated and were doing their lives. The breed that has come over specifically in the last 2 years is what is making it even worse cause if they acted like the ones who came before 10 -20 -30 years ago. They probably wouldn't stand out, but then again when you bring in almost a million, into all of Canada, they would stand out, but maybe people wouldn't be so agitated, if they had tried to assimilate and be respectful to the other cultures here and that is the number one complaint I hear anytime, I see interviews. The way they do at home, Canadians are more quiet and try to be respectful of other cultures. We like to just have their own space and our own peace when they're moving throughout this space and a lot of people describe the energy of the Indians coming in almost evasive into your space and then not really carrying anything about invading ur space. They act like, so what's the big deal if I'm in your space and that has been the number one issue is just the rudeness. Not assimilating and imposing their culture, speaking their language, not attempting to integrate with other cultures showing actually a lot of racism to some of the other cultures. And that has been the biggest problem. So just so you know, cause I can tell you're young. I'm North 40 years old and I can tell you. The demographic change has been so intense everywhere in Canada especially in the last 2 years. That I have even seen podcast with Indian people who have been here 10 -20-30 years, saying the government needs to figure out a way and get a good swath of these people gone because they are. Staining them with a negative brush. Cause I can tell you. It's only in the last 5 years. That I notice Indians. I've grown up around every culture. And I just don't notice individual cultures in that way. Until in 2022, Trudeau took the guard railsl off the foreign worker program and the student Visa working program. And India is known for having middlemen in India that work with Fake Diploma Mills scholls with brampton having over 80 of them that the middlemen work scamming Indians by telling them if they pay anywhere from $5000 all the way up to $50,000 even higher to get fake school acceptance letters, so they can come here to get the word permit and work full-time or with companies that provide fake LMIA job offers on the black market, which is illegal under the I.R.C.C, but that is a thing that they had prior to 2022. And when Trudeau took the guards rails off when it comes the requirements and basically. Made it a free-for-all and as India already had the scamming infrastructure in place that kept their population moderate and it just allowed th scammers to go nuts, so that's why we got mostly Indians.
