I’m really not concerned about this person or his family being a threat to Canada. They aren’t refugees needing asylum. That said if they come legally.........welcome to Canada. He seems capable of working and wants to work. We can’t take in the entire Central American population. We can take some though. I personally would love to live and work there, however in the future I will choose to apply and enter legally, and encourage everyone to do the same. Last summer I was followed around a PetSmart by staff for the entire 10 minutes I was in there before I was so uncomfortable that I left. I work in retail. I know what they were doing. I'm a white woman. I can't imagine what it must be like to have this happen almost regularly. At my store, I try my best to treat everyone the same, regardless of what they look like. Unless you are rude to me. Then I'll give it right back to you.
