This is not conducive for deployment or other readiness requirements.”\n\nThe document alleges that Biden’s order undoing Trump’s last restriction on trans people serving in the military ordered the Department of Defense to “pay for service members’ transition surgeries, as well as those of their dependent children — at a cost of millions of dollars to the American taxpayer.”

I think if any TG meets the standards and those around them co-sign then we should honor that contract instead of just ending it especially for those who were TG before enlisting. Especially for those who have already sacrificed and served in a great way. Those should be grandfathered in… or grandmothered in… ?

The stats are undeniable. trans Soldiers can’t meet current medical readiness standards. They are non deployable for very extended periods of time due to meds alone.

This is a great example of why I hate this whole fake trans rants about women sports, and why I wish people would just say they hate trans people. The argument is a trans woman has an advantage over born/biological females? So if this navy commander can meet the physical requirements, then what's the problem? This is why I hate the disingenuous nature of the trans discussion, using dumb things as talking points instead of just saying what it's about. Just say you hate trans people, the idea of them. I saw the same garbage with gay marriage. Arguing about baking cakes or flowers, when the reality it's just you don't like gay people.

Recruitment is not down because transgender people/DEI is not allowed. It is down because the opposite is happening. DEI/Alphabet people are being shoed into places where they do not belong over more qualified other people. This process of putting less qualified people into positions endangers everyone else. Just like female lesbian firefighters in LA who are not strong enough to carry a person to safety think this is the fault of the victims they might encounter and not be able to save. This lowers morale and affects recruitment. If a transistor can meet the current requirements, they should be allowed to finish their time, but nobody else gets a free pass.

They do not meet the requirements! They took me out because of one of my eye when I do not need any medicine or treatment and I was completely normal , mentally and physically, while they need medication for life , they are a carryover

Transition meds are heavy duty narcotics. Impossible to deploy these people. Most CANNOT meet the medical requirements. A high percentage end up on disability and stay on our dime for life. Totally unfair to the taxpayer and their fellow soldiers. I do not believe CNN here. I've read too many articles citing all the negatives of their treatments and outcomes. Sure there is undoubtedly some that thrive but, as a group, they are a large drain on the military.

Military leader needs to meet his people where they are? Thats like the fire chief saying people want someone who looks like them to pull them out of burning building…

They do not meet the medical standards, and do not need to be a distraction to the other 99.98% of the military. In basic training, there are open showers. Young women go thru enough stress during bootcamp, and they dont need the added stress of having to shower next to a naked man.

Real men do not want to serve with trans anything you will never meet recruitment goals.

The marines told me I was too short to serve. I didn't meet their height requirements. It is what it is.

Never lived there but I drive through alot. California used to be alot nicer but even in its prime its a waistland 3rd world country compared to canada. Texas was horrible. Everyone is rude and stupid. I understand the lack of education but even the people in charge are very simple minded and it's very rare to meet a beautiful woman. Everyone is plastic or too skinny and gross to look at. It's nice to live next door and drive through on my way to the pow wows. I would never move there. Unless canada makes more then 2 genders! Out of control immigration drives up the cost to buy and rent houses, same issue here in Australia.\nWe can't builld enough houses in Australia to meet the demand. Many building companies went out of business when the price of materials increased but their contract price couldn't.\nCashed up immigrants who can afford higher prices effectively drive locals away from places to live. Homelessness is increasing in Australia.\nThe government then tries to build more social housing and pays the builders higher prices than a person building a private house can afford, which continues to increase the construction cost spiral. We now have $1M+ houses being built for people on welfare who only have to pay a maximum of 25% of their income, and that income is given to them by the government. People are better off being unemployed and living off government benefits and housing than to have a job paying less than $100k/yr.

Why is it the Canadian citizens' responsibility to have enough staff to meet the demand? Explain that to me? I have lived in Canada most of my life. I've felt lonely here most of the time. It is a rich county but so isolating. It's hard to make friends as an adult. It's very multicultural so people don't make an effort to meet people outside of their circle. It got worse after the pandemic. If I could, as a black woman, I would move to Mexico but I can't afford to support myself there. My profession keeps me here in Canada, well-off financially, but lonely.
