I remember when my country Indonesia still gave Indians visa access like everyone else. It was horrible! Our airports were swarmed with unruly and mannerless Indians. They complained to be, discriminated, when they were treated like anybody else. What worse was they called everybody Chinese and made it the reason to fight with them, even with security guards! Everyone look Chinese to them. Such bigoted people were security and stability threat for everyone. They should stay in India since India is already ruined anyway. In Paliki style, I will tell you what Indians should do, Do Not Ruin Everywhere Else.

Unfortunately, there has to be some criteria by which each country has to make a judgement. I do not understand why she is cribbing here. There is this guy who keeps going on international trips and everyone in India for gaga over the importance he brings to India through those trips. What happened? Not working? They fail to understand that all the hugs and kisses are only for the TV and in reality every country just cares for the business opportunity they get out of the other. \n\nPalki keeps talking about using our economic power. Who should be weilding it? Is it not the Government? Do they really care if an individual or a lot of their citizen's visa get rejected? They are busy painting a rosy picture to their blind followers. They abuse and mock organizations that put down the ranking of our country instead of understanding the reason behind those ranking. They have no data to contradict the agencies but use rhetoric and everyone seems to be happy about it.\n\nWhy has this lady not put in any thought on the other possible reasons for rejections that could be because of the applicants? The easiest thing to do is blame other countries for the rejection without thinking why certain types of countries reject and what has our citizens done in those countries? No point in thinking about a few people who helped build Dubai or those one of cases like Pichai & Nadella. Think of those who go their and cause concern to those countries.

When you have smashed your manufacturing, you won't have money, if you won't have money, people will be running to other countries like crazy, It's unusual immigration which is hated anywhere even if you tell.them with broad smile that we are the Vishhvguru they gonna hate you. With 100 billion business losses with China It's no joke Palki. You also say that Indian development is sustenable but china's isn't. Many people like you smartly play with words. China's development is clearly visible but it's not sustenable but india development is slipping in every index and it's sustenable! Amazing

One reason for this is pseudo journalists like Palki who keep trumpeting the ruling party line about India's achievements instead of telling the truth. Indians are practically running from India unable to face the galloping unemployment and poverty. But who wants needy people? Naturally the visa rejection rates have gone up.

Behavior of fellow Indians could be the main reason. Most of the people like to remain calm in most of the situations, but Indians take it granted.Talk very lould, play music with out headphones, try to stand before the flight stops, talk in authoritative language, expect immediate solutions when situation arouses, shouting on others, window shopping, disobey certain rules, Bargaining culture at some places where they not supposed to do etc. This behavior we have with us not only in India and we behave the same outside India as well. Government should start a course how they should behave in public places.

Indians should stay and make the country great instead of running around like a headless chickens. Of course the corrupt governments of the day makes thing worse. Until they follow half of china's way of governance, India will lose out on everything China do. Actually India had more scientists and clever people but all going in the wrong directions and objectives.

To abstract maximum benefits, India should stay in line with the trend & policy of the modern countries. Don't stick to stooges style & policies which other nations people don't like. Too much promotion of Bharat sentiments will deter money rich countries.

In the rush to get out, lot of people tend to make fake stories and documents....Hence the drop in rankings....Modi should make India better. Looks his regime is worse than those you just read. It is just that yout skin is so thick you just don't realize. No proper research opportunities for students. Obviously the same situation with opportunities except those who lick the asses of the people at the top like Adani.

Indians are peddled this dream that everything outside is a heaven since early childhood. They see pictures of skyscrapers in Manhattan, London and Frankfurt and think everyone is living like that outside. These people are further brainwashed by immigration agencies and disguised human traffickers to put lakhs or even crores on the line for just going outside. They sell their lands, properties and other assets just to be able to go out pursuing a misleading dream.\n\nThis is a problem especially in states like Punjab, Gujarat, Telangana, Andhra and Kerala, where most of the people still believe that it's better living outside than inside. These are not people who don't have anything in India but rather well-to-do families that have homes and assets and families in the country. \n\nThen comes the added Western bias and negative media image through propaganda. \n\nIndia has much work to do - if the country keeps complaining, nothing will get done.

I agree with the ranking, and the west doesn't need indian talent, india needs the west. Keep your talent, that way you won't need any visa. Kosova people are not demonstrating in host nations they visit like Indians, Burkina Faso is not over populating other countries illegally that's why they are better than India and if they immigrate they learn the culture and integrate. So you seem to be blaming the Country denying Indians a visa. Break down the rejections. Indians like any other third world country are known to use these avenues to escape from India. Don't blame the countries for taking time to assess. Blame the Indian society/economics that is forcing people to exit the country. See what can be done to fix that first, so that people don't want to exit your motherland first.

Too many people from India flocking many countries.\nIt sounds like an invasion.\nOf course countries put a break on visas.

Other countries are full they need to look after there own people they cant afford to be flooded with migrants from other countries and lets face it india has billions of people and most trying to get out . I think india needs to sort out its own problems like every country should so no one needs to leave.

I'm sorry, India is the number one hated Country on the planet as we speak. England, Australia, & many other countries are not allowing Indian students to enter anymore. The proof is in the pudding! They are just bringing all their bad habits wherever they go. So it's not only Canada that's fed up, there are lots of Countries that cannot stand their attitude and erratic behavior. Canadian's are forced out there apartments, then they rent them at a higher price to people from India they get more for rent. We don't see anyone from other countries living on the streets it's Canadians who built this country . Nova Scotia CP party let in 118,000 people in our tiny province , we are getting pushed out of our apartments while the people from India have a spot to live.. They just come here to work ,, Canadian'se don't like to work the lower end jobs. I rather see a Tim's close up , and a fast food resturant close up to ease up our housing.. As an American and also a half Indian myself, I hear this guy . I have friends in Canada and they complain to me about the same thing. One of the things is that Indians refuse Canadians job positions because they are not Indian. How can u Indians refuse someone a job in their own country? And another thing. Changing Canadian culture just like he said. . Canada has a right to their own culture. U people cannot do that. U live in Canada not India. India has its own culture as well . Sadly to say u Indians brought the racism upon ourselves.

Can you break down the west coast cause holy moly, i feel like i live in india not Canada!!! My apt building is filling up with immigrants, all the whites are moving out as the landlord is letting our building turn into a slum, whenever i call, he is in India, he has not fixed a damn thing and as white people move out, he does not clean the apt between people, he let's them move in with other people's garbage, he did that to me and when i complained he asked for the keys back, he is also doubling the rent of the new immigrants. Why is it true Canadians are becoming homeless...i don't see any Indians living on the street at all!! The majority of Canadians are sick and tired of the amounts of Indians coming to Canada committing crimes. As a Black Canadian womam born and raised, l never seen anything like this in my whole 60 years of life. We cannot find affordable housing, they come over here wanting to be Canadian citizens, at the same time abusing the resources meanwhile, they go across the border to exploit the system. Immigration needs to close it doors to certain countries. Some Indians people come over here, and think they are still in India. They used Black people as a scapegoat, they are racist towards Black people, they think they are white, they don't consider themselves as colored.

When someone tells you they are from India, know that they have learnt to survive amongst a billion people.. \n, if you were talking like that to him in India, Sir, i tell you, he is very well capable of smashing your skull in a billion pieces. But he chose peace for his family.\n\nRespect that.

India still is a sh**hole country with inequality much worse than at the time of the British Empire. \nCanada presents an illusion of utopia when in reality it's an unaffordable frozen wasteland with miserable people. \nImmigrants that Canada wants to keep, those with high income and pay the most taxes are the least likely to continue to stay here while the already wretched in India do find Canada to provide a marginal improvement to their lives leading to resentment from the local populace who blame all their problems on Indians.

Until we start mass deportation, we are not going in the right direction; we are going sideways. \n\nIt's always countries that breed like rabbits that people wanna flee from. These countries need to control their populations and focus on quality of life, not just more life. \n\nChina took decades, and the worlds worst famine, to finally institute the one child policy. The policy led to an economic boom and a massive improvement to living standards for 100s of millions of people. \n\nIndia appears to be on the way down the toilet with their out of control population showing no sings of stabilization. \n\nAll countries should stop taking Imdians until I they can stop population growth, which is causing massive environmental \nDamage, and get their population back to a sustainable level. Scientific consensus from decades ago said the sustainable world population would be about 2 bliion if we all want the middle-class North American lifestyle.\nThis would probably mean India would have a population of around 250 million, ONE SIX of what it is today.

There are too many Indian in Scarborough too. Interview people there. I also feel like it’s little India whenever I’m visiting my mom that still lives in Scarborough. I feel out of place and I grew up in Scarborough.

Sounds to me like the Indian population has taken over housing and jobs in Brampton, that why the white people are on the street. What Trudeau and his band of merry misfits have done to this country is disgusting! I know in my town on the other side of the city all the Tm Horton, diary queen, ,MacDonald, taxis, Walmart etc are all Indian. The irritating part is our white students , older folks and the like can’t get jobs here either , and what’s worse they don’t speak our language properly and you can’t understand them. Not to mention the garbage on the streets, roads, and highways . If you google earth anywhere in India there is garbage everywhere, now Canada is becoming the same. It’s not fair !

The dynamics is complicated. High energy costs causing increase in costs for businesses and households. Household pushing for more salaries to meet their standard of living. Companies pushes for cost control measures like laying off, moving production abroad, or hiring low salaried people than paid locally (and often rely on hiring foreign workers). Domestic political dissatisfaction, terror incidents and growing AfD sentiment is affecting percieved motivation of foreigners which is affecting exodus of skilled manpower to other countries or even to their home country e.g. India.

I don't understand how Indian origins people like to go all over the world and make this country better instead of India ?? They are in Europe America Australia Africa Middle East. Nobody in India.

There are enough world class universities in India. Better than most of the countries. It is just the glamour of white, more money and status symbol of living in great named countries. Government of departure countries should charge heavy fines for leaving or ask person to pay off all expenses country of departure has faced.\nYes, there are exceptions. People have long lived and established due to children borne in country or sickness which is handled for long time by doctors in country of present residence. Living in USA and or country like Canada has become a status symbol. It is real tragedy. Granting visas is a sovereign right. As common as it seems in Canada to grant visas to wanted criminals, it is the effort of most other nations to grant visas only to genuine tourists or businessmen and not to troublemakers - especially those with a history. Absolutely nothing wrong in the goverment of India seeking guarantees from those seeking visas that they will not misuse the largesse and undertake secessionist activities or those that incite violence. Same thing happening in Italy .i was talking to my nephew in Rome, he works as a janitor at school, he said there were 20 East Indian pupils out of 30 in one class! Post war Europeans immigrated to North America and built this rich continent with SKILLS and hard work without any demands, now these people come and they expect things on a silver platter! I'm a French Canadian and I love India and Indians. I'm learning Hindi and Punjabi, love the food, language, and music. It's just that Canada needs to denounce Khalistan! I want to clarify some things here. MOST people in India do not support a separate state like Khalistan, it's implausible as they would need their own currency and military... It would be as if you asked an average Quebecer if they wanted to separate. There is only ONE India and ONE Canada which includes Quebec! The Khalistani movement should be declared a terrorist organization. These protestors SHOULD be mad if indeed a policeman supports Khalistan. Or how Trudy ruined India's relationship with a terrorist like the Khalistani leader that was assasslnated. EVEN if a vote were to show that Canadian East Indians support Khalistan, Canada cannot create this state for India which Modi also does not help. Khalistan will be another Muslim state or country like Pakistan This would be what Gaza is to Israel is what Khalistan would be to India. WHY is Canada pushing for this!? This is interference.

Canada was too naive and didn't learn from the usa. It mostly attracted people from India, Bangladesh and Pakistan, from where students somehow show bank statements but actually do not bring those money with them, let alone being of a good quality student. Someone should let them know that so called better life is not waiting for them in Canada at least. We have plenty of our own political tensions, we're taxed to death, probably have the worst health care system in the world, extremely high cost of living, everything is expensive, the only jobs available are part time, crappy overpriced food, a housing crisis and brutal winters every single year.. Nothing but pissed off, miserable people here. Many Canadians I know have moved to India and love it. Come if you like but I bet you'll wish you hadn't, especially when Trudeau won't let you go back, not with your money anyway.

The problem with here is also with Khalistan issue (of course not all Punjabis there want Khalistan and are absolutely chill people and people here in India, Punjabis, also don't want Khalistan, I have some close friends who are Sikh and are most Dildaar, Big-hearted, people I know). A lot of extremist groups which want, Khalistan ARE supported and protected by the Canadian government especially by Justin Trudeau and these people are committing nothing but violence and terrorism in the name of free speech. Indian government has issued many extradition requests, but the Trudeau government has done nothing about it and has protected these extremists. Over the years Indian government has warned Canadian government about this issue constantly and after years of housing these Canadian terrorists (because Canada calls them their citizens and protects them, what else can be the correct term for them and nothing like Khalistan exists) they've started to cause problems for the people already living there (like the terrorists Pakistan was housing are causing problems to them). They know they are not gonna get a Khalistan in India so where else are they gonna build it? Voila! Canada! This is the reason behind them not assimilating with the existing culture.Trudeau has even gone to lengths of calling Amit Shah (Home minister of India) and PM Modi (if you don't know what the heck are you doing here go study geopolitics a bit) unalivers of Hardeepsingh Nijjar WITHOUT any evidence (they just keep saying they have it but have shown nothing till now) and because of which Canada has worsened its relations with the Indian Government. They are even comparing India with the likes of North Korea in terms of threat. Indian Government in reply is giving Canada the same treatment it gives to Pakistan (a bit better of course, but the diplomacy has gone to sh it. And the reason why Trudeau is doing all this, yeah VOTES for sh itty domestic politics he's sacrificing long term GOOD relations with the Indian Government. Now, you may think that worsening relations with India is a good thing for Canada, yeah no, its not good because India has trade relations with Canada which may worsen due to this (yeah, great going for an economy which is already in shambles) and UK or US are not gonna do anything to India over Canada because India geopolitically has more significance than Canada (I'm not bragging, please don't misunderstand). This rant has gone to a very different tangent but yeah a lot of problems Canada is having is mainly due to their government. Any of Canadian friends (I have not reason to hate you) and Punjabi brothers/sisters (Yeah, unless you are some sh itty extremist you are a brother/sister to me) please don't take this offensively. Some of the most racist comments I’ve heard…..!!\n\nThis is basically saying that because it is brown people moving into Canada ( Brampton, BC, TO) doesn’t matter, there’s a problem with immigrants. What would the comments be if Brampton had an influx of Britt’s, or Germans, or Portuguese….Etc….??\n\nSaying, “this is not the Canada I knew”…. Well, “Canada is a multicultural country” \nThis means that all cultures from every part of the world decide to enter Canada and make it their home. Just like my parents did in the 60’s from Portugal. Why is it okay to have people immigrate here in the 60’’s from Italy, Portugal, Greece Etc…. And people coming in now from countries that are of colour, there is a massive backlash…. Canada has one of the lowest populations. Why not have some hard working people live here and contribute to the economy from India, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Kenya, Lebanon, Iraq Etc….

Don't renew the visa , if they are not quality worker. In India you would find all sorts of people as the population is large there are loads of quality workers and very large poor quality workers. Make it hard to get visa, unless the person is coming in with the bigger jobs like engineer, doctor etc.

I'm also an immigrant, been in Canada for 16 years, came here initially for uni. It's funny that I have no negative feelings towards immigrants from any other countries but India. And I didn't have any negative feeling toward them before I came to Canada, if anything, I only remember something positive my grandma telling me about Indian people being beautiful, that they have big beautiful eyes. After I came to Canada, over the years, based on countless personal experiences dealing with them, sadly my conclusion is 99% of them are bad, 1% are the exception. They are aggressive, rude, stinky, unhygienic, dishonest, always trying to take financial advantage of people or situations to save a few more bucks by being super annoying or cheating, extremely disrespectful and aggressive towards women!! Really nothing is appealing about them. And at a job position, 1 Indian will bring 10 Indians, 10 will bring 100, they are slowly encroaching the environment and taking over everything. Other races try to assimilate into the local culture, while the Indians are imposing theirs onto the local and other cultures. Canada feels like it's turning into a second India. It's lost its politeness, manner, rules etc. I no longer want to live here, I plan to move back to my country after a few years. And I don't really go to Tim Hortons anymore cuz the Indians are taking over all the franchises and lowered the standards of Hygiene and friendliness. I don't think I'm being racist, cuz I'm not having all these negative feelings based on their skin colour or origin. It's purely based on real life experiences in dealing with them.

And another thing she don't realize is. They don't just come to your house and say okay. You guys get together and get your stuff. We're gonna put you in a bus and take you back to the border. No, they violently arrest you like your criminal. And throw you in jail for months sometimes years at a time waiting to be deported. And if you think you'll all be deported at once, you got another thing coming. The man might go and jump. The woman might go in July. The kids might go separately next year. If you don't believe me. I saw it with my own eyes in 2019. I was locked up in Colorado. I watched them raid construction sites hospitals. Numerous other businesses arresting hard work in Mexican people. Imagine all the nurses and workers at hospitals that are from other countries. I watched them arresting nurses. Arresting tab drivers Uber drivers. I watched them raid schools and arrest children. I watched them put these poor people in jails with real criminals. All the immigrants loved me. I was actually in a federal and ICE facility. So I literally saw all of the immigrants. I protected them from the racist white people. I'm from Tampa Florida, so I'm used to the jails and prisons being majority, black guys. But in Colorado, it's white supremace, gangs and Mexican gangs. What's even more sickening? Is people from Washington would come in and take some of the Indians out. And when they came back, I would ask them questions and they said that the government people would get information on their family back in India and see if they could pay 50k to stay in America. It was sickening. I found out that what they were doing was deporting. Poor people and the people that have money back in their country. They have their families send money and let them stay. I saw it with my own eyes.

Nothing to be proud of, pleasestip showing and highlighting these things, we should be ashamed, these people causing trouble there, why should we try to make another country like ours and these are loud unsophisticated people causing India a bad name

Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly said India's refusal to co-operate is why Canada declared the six diplomats persona non grata, which is one of the stiffest penalties Canada can impose under the Vienna Convention. \n \nAnd now a country with over a billion people is badmouthing Canada. Canada, one of the top 10 most peaceful and kindhearted and law abiding countries on Earth! How do you think this makes Canadians feel? \nWith stuff like this, Canadians (including Asian Canadians) are getting more and more upset. It’s not hate. It’s not racism. It’s a normal reaction to an influx of any culture that doesn’t assimilate and blend to a country’s culture and way of living, including rules and conduct norms.

Why do Indians prefer to live anywhere but India. If you think about it…it’s really sad. Imagine not wanting to live in or contribute to your own country. I’m referring to the talented immigrants. The Lawyers, Physicians, Politicians, Businessmen, Tradesmen and the like. Why not take what you’ve learned and put it into practice for the people of India instead of people in America/Canada/Pretty much everywhere in the world but India. It’s a damn shame because if anyone has seen videos of the true India, its landscape and geography…wow OMG! India is a stunningly beautiful countryside.

I also came to Canada in 2006 as an immigrant with my 2 bags and started my new life with empty handed which almost all Indians had started on their time. Yes it’s very hard to adopt other cultures 100% for first generation. But have you think how this new immigrants have their own house and good jobs or business. Why their kids achieved higher education without any loan because their parents worked 7 days without looking around so called culture. They believe in work hard and focus on their family and kids and in extra time visit temple or Gurudwara just to keep live their believes. Do you know how many places where you find 3 times free hot food for everyone in Brampton at Gurudwara and Temple without looking at his originality. \nDon’t think the immigrants are coming here are poor in their country or helpless like refugees. Most of are millionaires in India but in Indian culture the stupid thoughts is to earn for next 7 generations so because of that greediness they work here 7 days and that’s why they are not homeless. As they have some values of their Indian culture they have not drug addictions.\nNot 100% Indian are good and loyal or honest. There are few which you can find in any culture or religion.\nSo in bottom line immigrants are here because of govt policies and invitations. They are not came as refugees. You can’t forced anyone where they have to stay and in how many percentage. Many people don’t live in GTA or ran away from GTA because they can’t afford house and can’t stand in competitive market. Government should skilled own citizen or make more powerful before invite highly skilled immigrants from other countries otherwise new immigrants will take jobs from original and that will be continued with us too.
