YOU KNOW WHATS IT’S LIKE TO BE AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT BUT NOW YOU WANT TO SEND THEM BACK BECAUSE YOU HAVE YOUR PERMANENT RESIDENCY DUMMY YOUR JUST FULL OF SELF HATRED! Ohhh if it was her own child I’m sure she wouldn’t be saying that’s ok.., there are many like her out there. They get those papers and they think they work for the White House. If she would’ve visited Mexico and had a kid while visiting and didn’t have the money for a green card it would have been a completely different situation. For those just because you got your papers do you not think that there are people that came here as infants or kids to immigrant parents that came to work to provide for their kids it’s not that easy to get your green card it cost thousands of dollars. Many immigrants that I know and worked with including myself, I came here as a refugee. Immigrants are the hardest working people I know. Unfortunately a lot of the ones that came here as kids grew up in some neighborhoods that are not so great and mainly are kids that were born here that are in gangs or doing drugs or violent so don’t blame immigrants saying they bring all this with them it was already here … drugs gangs violence was already here. Gangs started in the White House with their red and blues. Then they say they are taking all the jobs.. the jobs have always been here but people that are citizens are too lazy to go get jobs or keep jobs ( not all citizens) but the ones that are complaining immigrants usually come from villages without any media or drugs or gangs ect. They simply come here for better opportunities or for jobs. They come to work not to freakin take your jobs… this country everyone is a damn immigrant this country was taken from the natives taken with violence by killing them , rapi!’ Them. The likelihood of obtaining a green card after being deported is slim to none. As it is, the wait time for someone from Mexico can be significantly long, often exceeding 20 years, especially for family-based petitions like siblings of U.S. citizens. So… yeah. Add a deportation to their file and you’re basically never seeing them again. Immigration is not like it used to be—when she stood in line for a matter of days.

A Green Card is for Legal Permanent Residency - revokeable if one commits a crime.\n\nIt can be used to apply for American Citizenship. Therefore if this woman hasnt did so ( which involves passing a Citizen test), she's Not an American citizen, her nationality is Mexican.\n\nTrump stated that legals will be deported if they're have been on any type of long term claiming of various benefits - so no contribution from them to the US.

They are coming student visas and most don't go to college and visit visa after they jump to USA for green card and work permits so what the point we coming legal way to usa and Canada

I don't believe her. You don't stand in line for days for a green card. There are only a handful of ways to get a green card and standing in line isn't one of them.

The fact that we have so many people in the US undocumented and living here for decades tells us that our legal process is not sufficient for allowing people to come legally. Having that many people tells us we need to treat this as a policy problem, not an individual-making-bad-choices problem. And spending billions of dollars on border patrol tactics that still allow for so many illegap immigrants tell us that our resources are grossly misspent. Plus we treat legal asylum seekers as if they were illegal (depriving people of food, keeping them from crossing in the first place) so people will choose whatever method will get them here. People can be here legally for well over a decade before getting a green card and then even longer to get citizenship.

For the record..............\nThere is almost no possibility of coming back to the USA legally once u have been deported, unless u have proof of US citizenship.\nIf u have a green card, it will be canceled. \nIf u have no paperwork and leave the US, u are subject to a (likely) 10 year BAN from entering the US or applying for a visa or paperwork (Republicans in Congress passed that law - IIRAIRA in 1996) \nAnd if u apply for a US visa at any consulate outside of the USA after the ban has expired, u need a WAIVER for being in the US illegally (which is separate from the visa application) or ur application will be denied on the spot.

Well to be honest, Mexican immigrants who have worked so hard in this country, have waited DECADES to get a green card, while brand new immigrants who do not like to work are getting their work permits and green cards within days after arriving.

I am a U.S. born Mexican-American. This woman disgusts me. My father was a decorated WWII veteran. He, too, was a U.S. born citizen, as well as my mother. We never had much. One thing they both taught me was to help people who had less than we did. I look mexican, yet when I open my mouth, I don't have the accent my parents had. I have been targeted by random people just minding my business running errands. I have on occasion stuck up for my fellow Hispanic when I have seen them ignored and mistreated. What the f is wrong with this person. Was she not taught anything about empathy and compassion? Isn't she at risk of being deported? The green card can easily be taken away. Honey, they don't want us here. Yes, I include myself in that. This woman is as racist as any skin head. They will turn on her in a second. What a fool. Even Mexico doesn't deserve for this woman to be tossed back to them.

A green card is NOT the same as citizenship! You can still be deported. Also, I wouldn’t put anything past this administration to deport as many migrants as possible….starting with those easiest to round up and can be identified…like green card holders and asylum seekers. The only reason we are willing to leave our countries to live in the US is because you have a country where we can thrive. In order to go to the US, we go through the process and apply for visas and the green card. That's being honest. We don't want the country filled with illegal immigrants who jump the border. We left our countries in an honest way and we want the borders strong, so we can still have a country where we can thrive. Is it really hard for you to understand that?
