I was oh mine! I’m the one working and I’ve never apply for any government assistance as I remember my parents only applied once for 6 months because my dad was sick and my mom pregnant but once my dad got better went back to work 2 jobs and my mom started working. Until these day we haven’t needed any gov. assistance because we all work and even now I decided to take my children and my husband only he works we don’t receive any government assistance not even healthcare assistance because we work so we don’t depend from no one but these people are government dependable not working people. The US government needs to check every single individual who is efficient or not.

Why in the hell would any military want to have to through all that with any individual when there are plenty of normal candidates available? She didn’t mention the cost of her transition and the ongoing cost. You could put disabled persons in the cockpit, pay for all kinds of retrofits of the equipment and all the ancillary care needed for that person and they may even be able to pull it off. I think it depends on the individual . I'm no expert, but if a man or woman is fit to serve, and wants to serve, why limit yourself to just men ? If there were a draft, would you want your son serve because he was made to, or would you want someone that signed up because it's their dream to serve? I'd serve with Cmd. There is in fact no actual housing shortage in the USA whatsoever. The problem is that that wealthy individuals have strong incentives to park excess capital in real estate and landlords have strong incentives to maintain asset values through cash flow potential (appraised through $/sq.ft rent revenues). What ends up happening in both cases is that you end up with lots of empty houses sitting collecting dust artificially gaining value due to scarcity, and with rentals, you end up with perpetually inflated rents and vacancy rates that are as high as a landlord can tolerate just to maintain the appearance of value to the lenders. Often these owners will borrow more money and use an apartment that might be 40% vacant as the collateral for the lender and go buy another building and so on. What people don't penalize is the fact that that 40% vacant building with 60% rented out at above fair value gets treated on the balance sheet to the bank as if its 90% rented out from an asset value perspective thereby setting the asset price artificially high. Simple legislation of the tax code can fix this issue and unlock lots of sidelined housing. All we have to do is progressively tax 2nd 3rd 4th ect. homes higher and higher rates that essentially cancel out the asset gains, and do something similar for vacant units in a apartment building. \nIts just at the core a case of the rich hoarding something that has been made artificially rare. On top of all of this, because of how valuable properties have become, there are now many interests that capitalize on the entire process of building new housing that make it ever more expensive. Our taxes are funding numerous regulators that stymie new development, while the developers have to then hire numerous attorneys and planners to pitch a project and litigate it through the cities to get approvals. This can take over 10 years in a major city. All this contributes to the ridiculous costs of building these days.

I just retired after 30+ years active duty and trans SM’s should not serve.The amount of time/money spent on one individual is ridiculous.Not one trans SM that I led deployed with their unit due to medical.I was forced to either deploy undermanned or find other SMs that were willing to fill that gap billet.The military has the lowest morale since across the board since the 70’s.We can not recruit nor can we keep SM’s due to policies you are promoting.

Never heard of Vets for American and I have been a vet since 78. We do not need a social experiment in the military. I have seen so many people leave the military because of DEI programs and the embarrassment of trans people and the demands they make, their words. All I hear from this person is me and I, words that indicate an individual and not a team member. Who will follow a leader that they have no respect for ruins the team and fails the mission.

When I was at MEPS, I was denied my request to be an MP because of a low credit score, and yet we have individuals in service that are not mentally fit. I do not wish any of them ill will. The media just can’t help itself…it has to lie…using a 10 year old survey by UCLA for the “15,000 transgenders” number when a more recent study done in 2021 shows only 1900 individuals received any care related to being transgender through the DOD and a January 2024 estimate by the RAND Corporation estimated 1320 to 6630 transgenders serving. And the overwhelming Amorite are support roles, not combat or front line. And yes, I’m a veteran.

First let me say that I fully support anyone who is fully physically capable of doing whatever job that they are either enlisted to do or has been assigned to do within the military. \n\nIn a time where special forces doesn't mean bulked up freakishly high endurance or specific physical requirements are necessary.\nSpecial ops nowadays is also about mental acumen and ability to assess the entire picture and it is absolutely well known that certain physical factors are required to be on the front lines but to remove a very capable force that is a force multiplier in a time where it's absolutely needed and cannot be replaced quickly or even adequately is doing a massive disservice to our military and the citizens of this country just for the sake of a small group of individuals with small minds that couldn't step into that vacant position and adequately fill it with the same caliber of talent regardless of how they identify themselves!\nBeing the most lethal fighting military requires many talents and to remove those talents from the soldiers they support is absolutely hurting our military in ways that will take decades to rectify!\nThat soldier on the ground calling in drone strikes to get his or her soldiers out of the danger isn't going to care if they are trans or identify as LGBTQ only that they are able to safeguard their soldiers in whatever way they have been trained to do..\nOur military needs to be the most diverse in order to be the most lethal in the most diverse situations throughout the worlds stages!
