Canada already taxes US imports at an average of 25%, so these US tariffs only balance the playing field. All that said, like Zelensky, Trudeau seems to forget that Canada needs the US, but the US doesn't need Canada. He says that it is going to be tough in Canada; true. On the other hand, the average American probably won't even notice a difference. But the neverending, desperate anti-Trump narrative twisting is all CNN knows.

I don't know if I will make it through this but there are people out there in worse situations with more overtly oppressive governments, so I can't complain too much. The only thing I can do is hope that the breaking point is soon where those of us who don't hold contempt for compassion and intellect rise up and show the government that we have had enough.
