All these countries like Canada, US are relying on Indians, Chinese and other foreigners to run their tech economy. Indians are taking huge loans (like 40L) to sign up to their universities. Their locals are not signing up for it. They are incompetent. Foreign students are a major source for their universities. More than 95% are foreigners. If not for foreigners, then these programs will shut down. And then they poach these foreign students to work in their tech sector. In Canada people will pay $20K-$30K dollar to business owner to get fake letter to get work permit or PR and then they do cash some at other business. we pay bribe to get driving license. Our Indian who are the mortgage broker do mortgage fraud. When Canada gave massive visa to indian you never made story but now when visa is getting rejected you came up to show sympathy but do your duty diligently and pick core reason why it's getting rejected.

I have Indian friends who support these rejections, as they themselves admit that Indian people often lack discipline and proper manners when travelling abroad. They criticise India for its poor reputation, blaming the behaviour of its citizens. They understand why some countries no longer want to accept more Indians, as they do not want to import poor behaviour or unhygienic practices that conflict with local social norms. The reality is that the Western world is changing and, at last, becoming less politically correct. The next country likely to face scrutiny will be Pakistan, due to the violence associated with its citizens. You may call us racist, xenophobic, or worse, but Westerners no longer care. We want cleanliness, security, and respectful social behaviour in our communities. If you don't want to adhere to these norms and values, then FUCK OFF!

Improve your (India's) economy to match the per capita GDP of Western Countries like USA ($65,000 per capita). Rejection rates will dramatically decline. Nothing to do with anti-Indian sentiment.

As a Brit I know many decent integrated Indians here. But none of them are recent arrivals. Older immigrants were respectful and wanted to be British and adopt British ways. But newer immigrants act as if we owe them something while acting in disrespectful dirty disgusting ways. For example in India I have to use Indian toilets as Indians do. I don’t pretend I don’t understand how to use them, I don’t need instructions on the door and I don’t break the toilet by standing on it, shytting up the walls and all over the floor and leave it there like that’s normal. I’ve worked in offices where this was routine when Indian contractors were brought in. Integrated Indian men seem to take great pride in dressing smartly and smelling good. But it’s really common for Indians to smell REALLY BAD. Poor personal hygiene plus excessive amounts of Indian food (you’re abroad ffs try some different food!) creates a truly vile odour. Some Indian men also think it acceptable to stare at and harass British girls (although to be fair they do not have as bad a reputation as their neighbours) they are also rude and racist to white people especially women. Some Indians in 2025 still seem to think they’re living under the Raj and Britain is ‘oppressing’ them. They’re not and we’re not. The empire brought benefits to India and left peacefully over 70 YEARS ago. We don’t owe you ANYTHING. This victim mentality means India will NEVER be a proper first world country. You can flood the world with sheer numbers but you will never be respected or improve the world in any way, you will only ever leech off the invention of others. I do not mean to disrespect the many decent Indian people I’m just telling the truth. As a culture your presence outside of India is negative because of the way so many Indians act, trying to create India wherever they go. Indians are smart people, and are bright and talented, and should focus on making work/life conditions better in their own country and focus on the growth of their own country. Canadians have been left behind by their own country in favour of Indians. Canada as we know it is done, it is in severe decline and the quality of life of all Canadians has suffered from this influx. At old age homes, Canadians are being passed up and made homeless in favour of new immigrants (all Indians), all low income jobs have been taken by Indians, locals youth can't get jobs. I think the reporter should do proper research. Human development index(education, job, safety, etc.) and the number of overstaying Indians are the major factors why they tend to reject a lot of applicants from India. If India could provide a better living standard, its people would tend to return and not to overstay abroad. But this is not the case. The number of Indians wanting to migrate abroad manifests otherwise. It seems like there is a scarcity of resources in India. No wonder they are shocked that people abroad give tips for a service.

As an NRI for a decade in Germany, I can assure you that not a single person in the developed western world looks at India with a nicer opinion. They think of it as a necessary baggage. They will only allow Visa on Arrival/E-Visa for people whom they respect and would like to be in the country. While I do not want to get into how some Indians behave when they are on their EU trip, Indians in India do not behave well too. This involves hygiene, roads, infrastructure, intelligence, corruption, etc. Indians tend to look at the Indian flag with tears in their eyes while listening to A.R. Rahman’s “Vande Mataram” with Bharat Bala’s video. But the reality in the western world is this: India is a loud, messy, unhygienic, poorly organized country filled with corruption and crime everywhere. Now, why would a well-developed country open their doors to potentially unruly 1.4 billion people? The reason for visa rejection is that a lot of them simply apply for a tourist visa and never leave. If someone really needs to travel, they will have the money and the motivation to apply multiple times. Hence, the first check with multiple layers of bureaucracy.

Indians are everywhere then later on they demand and wants to rule other country just like canada. I’m an Indian passport holder living abroad due to personal reasons. I’m eligible for the citizenship of a country that most people would dream to get but I do not like to apply for the same because then I would have to renounce my Indian citizenship (India does not allow dual citizenship). Indians themselves are responsible for visa rejections because most of our people (not all) go under the disguise of tourists with the intention to settle in that country. What kind of treatment would you expect then? I came legally and despite never compromising with my cultural values, I have always felt welcomed in the country that I live in. It’s about how you present yourself in the country that you live in. People are good everywhere in this world.

Because Indians are not good guest at all. They either behave like India is a superpower of some sort (very far detached from reality, India is just a third world country with a big mouth) or they are some rich investors who needs to be given priority everywhere! I am a UK citizen. I find it strange that Indian nationals claim to be 'proud' of their country, yet they all want to move elsewhere (UK, US, Canada, Australia etc). If their country is so great, then why do they want to keep going to other countries? And then there's the bureaucracy for those who want to visit destinations such as India. If India wants to impose endless paperwork and procedures to other countries, then it should expect the same. India was the one that started the childish tit-for-tat behaviour when the UK and Canada were restricting visa applications during the pandemic, so therefore India banned e-visa applications from Canadians and UK citizens. If India wants to behave like this, then why can't other nations? The UK is full of Indians who come here and don't want to integrate to our way of life etc, hence it's better for everyone if they just stayed in India.

She conveniently missed mentioning the real reasons why visa applications of Indians get rejected -\n1) Thousands of Indians go on tourists visas only to 'disappear' and never return. It doesn't just happen in Canada, US, UK, Aus but also welcoming countries like Thailand, UAE.\n2) Indian Visa (to visit India) itself is one of the most expensive and complicated to get for foreigners, so other countries have no incentive to make it easier for Indian citizens.\n3) Developed countries know that if they make it 'easier' for Indians to travel to their country, they will end up with tens of thousands who wont want to go back to India. It is already the case when its difficult to get a visa, imagine the situation if its made easier.\n4) Most of the Indian tourists fall under the mass category, they are not like the heavy spending Chinese tourists. We are not the most well behaved, so till we start getting more affluent, we wont be in as much demand.

As a South African Indian, I am frequently embarrassed by the raucous and immature behaviour of many tourists from India. South Africans have learnt discipline, Indians from the subcontinent appear to have missed this lesson. Apart from their clannish nature and biased view of other people of colour, Indians need to learn humility- not just preach it, but practice it. It may appear like a minor issue to you, but it certainly portrays you in bad light. The world has become an intolerant place. Having money doesn’t make you more tolerable. Drop the cocky attitudes and practice patience- it may just change the bitter taste Indian tourists have left in the mouths of many people around the globe.

As an Indian living in Australia, i support the rejection of visas. Indian behave like they're living in India. Ladies in my class from punjab will speak only punjabi and ask desi lectures if they can teach the class in Hindi. \nAlso occasionally the khalistanis will do demonstrations here creating traffic. \nMany indians visiting nearby Vietnamese cities lile bali also disrespect locals there. There’s more pride and nationalism projected in this video than real facts. Why do Indians need visas? It’s very simple: Most Indians are more likely to figure out a way to stay abroad once they touchdown abroad. \n\nAmericans, Canadians, Europeans, etc, don’t need visas wherever they go because most of them always return to their countries eventually no matter where they visit and how long they’re away. \n\nCitizens who don’t need visas wherever they go hardly ever leave their own countries for another. It’s really very simple. Just look at Singapore, Switzerland, etc. How often do you see their citizens leave such countries for another? Almost never. That’s why.\n\nIt sounds like she’s trying to make an argument that this rule shouldn’t apply to Indians because India’s economy is powerful. You need to convince this fact to the Indians who are leaving India, because if you can’t even sell this point to those Indians leaving India, then you don’t even have a case.

Well india now has more than 1 billion middle class people looking to travel abroad. Lots of countries cannot handle the sheer number of indian tourists. India gets more than 70% of the usa H1B Visas so it's already getting most of the world's Visas. Maybe Indians should stay home and support states like Goa that are suffering from a lack of tourists

New Zealand is a lot smaller then Canada, and so the Indians stand out even more, just look at all our fast food restaurants, service stations, corner stores every business you can think of they own it. NZ some days looks like India. We have a lot of tourists who get mad because they come here to NZers, but instead see indians

It’s high time we bring rouge Indian tourists to book , there is no doubt we are the most uncivilized tourists in the world , be it in civil behaviour , littering, getting drunk in the flight and after landing..and mostly undocumented and illegal immigration. Facts, Indian F1 students are submit fake documents like security deposits in bank (scam), the reason of study (fake), job experience after education (fake), interview process (fake) during CPT, OPT even on H1. I took nearly 40 interviews in 2024 out of which 28 are with Indian background, 24-25 of them are trying to cheat the process in different ways. 2-3 are genuine but they lack skill. I just love it,,, i mean i just love it when we get a reality check,, i have been to 20 countries for studies, for work and as a toursit , i didnt face any visa rejection (maybe bcos my documents and funds were good) but boy o boy i just saw the behaviour of mostly hindi belt guys who go to Visa free countries like malaysia, bali, thailand and what horrible behaviour, they will spit around, drink pass lewid comments on foreigners and local ladies, try to bargain it was such an embarrassment, there were people chanting religious slogans near burj khalifa making reels, recently i visited georgia and some gujrati family was asking for seperate vegetarian cooked meals in an authentic georgian restaurant,, they were talking like they owned that place.\n\nI left india for studies in 2000 and came back in 2013, but during this time the indians were well behaved abroad and followed the rules,, maybe post smartphone era and the so called Godi media all have got a false feeling that we have become some vishwaguru just look at our comments on any videos on youtube instagram which are critical of us.\nThere was a news on one Lapdog Godi channel that Trump is crying infront of our PM that we help him in LA fires,, such shameless and bigoted lies will make any dimwit person think we are the greatest,\nIts high time we should start retrospecting our online as well as social behaviour.

And I'm pretty sure that India has a lower rejection rate compared to many other countries. It is the sheer volume of applications that contribute to this. Even 1% rejection on 100k Indian visas is a 1000 rejected visas. While a less populous country may have 10% rejection out of 1000 visas which is 100 rejections. So, in % terms, India fare well despite having higher rejections.\nFiring shots at Kosovo, Cuba and B Faso is a cheap shot and unnecessary to push the point of passport rank. All countries have a right to determine who they allow into their country with lower restrictions. And they are under no obligation to open the gates to anyone. It is also common knowledge that the newer cohorts of Indian immigrants to the West are a bad representation of Indian society (best example - Canada). Hence the rising anti Indian Immigration stance. Immigration is a privilege and not a right.
