Every country exclusively USA and Canada should stop inviting Indians because of the population,Even though being an Indian,i feel it's too much populated , India itself is very polluted and overpopulated,if other countries invite Indian immigrants then other countries also will become thickly populated with pollution and become nasty and dirty like India

They eat the same food as we do and are given all the facilities that we use in including going out to restaurants and other places such as the Zoo or fun parks\nI have lived both in Canada and now in USA and can say without hesitation that the Western way of life is much more human\nThese countries have a much higher level of tolerance for foreigners \nAlso, career wise both countries have given us amazing opportunities \n\nYes we do miss the social life of India, but in big cities of the West that loneliness gap is beginning to shrink as well\n\nLastly we Indians live a life of dual values. Ghar ke andar kuch aur ghar ke baahar kuch- this is not the case with Canadians/Americans.

Until 2020 (pandemic), most lifelong Canadians would have proudly & quickly said Canada is a great place. For multiple generations (young & old). It still is in many ways. But like all countries, a bunch of things have made life more difficult lately. \n \nDuring the COVID lockdowns, many people went wild wanting to buy a house (urban & rural). Increasing demand and rising prices. Not long after, inflation caused mortgage rates especially to rise. Rent costs soared too. People interested in working in hospitals declined. Less doctors etc.. \n \nSimultaneously in Canada, the number of people coming by air, land and boat to claim asylum skyrocketed. For example, in 2023 alone, in just one region (Central Canada) around 400 people arrived per day (on average). Ditto for other populated provinces. Also the number of international students SKYROCKETED too. In 2023, averaging around 2,000 per day across Canada. Years 2021 and 2022 had high #s too. \n \nThe majority trying to migrate to Canada recently have been from South Asia. And it's become extremely obvious to Canadians. Even those that are very used to much diversity & many cultures. Plus neighborhoods now know that international students are using schooling as a 'back door' ticket to come to Canada for permanent residency. No one says it in public amongst strangers, but everyone knows because they've witnessed the extreme PR frenzy firsthand by now. To many Canadians it has felt like a tidal wave that has reached all cities and small towns, with a post secondary school. This extreme situation never existed prior to 4 years ago.\n \nHospitals have been hit with many wanting free healthcare. Less doctors/nurses etc., means greater waiting times. Plus a VERY SEVERE HOUSING CRISIS has occurred in many western countries including in Canada. In ways not seen in people's lifetimes. And if you do find a place to live its quite expensive. Including small basement rooms. \n \nNow westerners want the money greedy agents (pseudo smugglers) in other countries to stop marketing & LYING to their own people about access to PR or citizenship … or accommodation/jobs … being easy (to get). And for any greedy people living in western countries to be ashamed of themselves if they're hurting students. Anyone doing things to make $ off of people's PR desires. At best, there is a 25% chance of gaining PR (better odds if you are masters/medicine etc.). \n \nNot all players across the board have acted honestly over the years, i.e. contract marriages (IELTS spouse), anchor babies, fraud, false asylum claims. Canada has asked the India government to prevent “ghost consulting”. The new PRIVATE (non-public) colleges are being investigated (including looking for strong oversea ties). \n \nCanadians are meeting students who told Canada they have enough $, but it turns out they borrowed it (some borrowed it for the application process only). Canadian food banks and other CHARITY services have been recklessly advertised on YouTube (by India students in Indian language). Many transit services have launched stricter rules, i.e. lost monthly bus passes registered in your name are now never replaced (unlike before). \n \nThen this year throw in all the Palestinian vs Israeli angry protests happening regularly in cities. Plus the Sikh vs Hindu violence/extortion mostly happening in Ontario and British Columbia. Plus the Canadian government also recently launched investigations in regards to foreign interference in Canadian elections. All stemming from Asia continent. Hate crimes have gone from rare to occasional (primarily South Asians against South Asians). \n \nCanadians are so so so so so not used to all this. So many, who have embraced multi-culturalism and immigration for decades are now VERY worried and fearful (due to all of the above). And all are praying it doesn't turn into great anger (like in the USA). \n \nCanadians want multi-culturism to succeed … and for all people (including immigrants) to be okay. Everyone I know is VERY happy with Canada Immigration's recent changes (reductions & investigations). Including multi-generational long-term Asian-Canadians where many have been the most upset (by all of this).

Canada should be hiring more people like Karma to encourage these disgruntled Indian immigrants to go home. We need more permanent residents anxious to build Canada, work hard for education, careers and learning more about our wonderful country. I am a 12th generation Canadian. When my forefathers arrived here in the late 1700’s they didn’t have all the amenities that today’s immigrants are in-tilled to.They taught two world wars and struggled through a decade of depression. Immigrants arrive expecting free healthcare, education, infrastructure ect. We had generations of struggle to make Canada the wonderful safe democracy that it is. Keep the 10 requirements for eventual admission to our country. But the Mikey Mouse easy education should not be one of them. They should be required to spend their first 5 years vs the current 3 years in Canada and not India . They should be required to learning about Canadian culture, Christian based laws, learn one of our official languages and much more. I wonder if NATO is forced to go to war, how many of these complainers would agree to fight for the sovereignty of this amazing democracy.❤

I'm sure that most of the 17% who left are not Indians, because Indians they come to stay and they never leave since any living conditions in Canada is much better than living India by a wide stretch.

If all the indian students left, alongwith all the indian immigrants, it would not be a problem as much\nChina and India are the biggest demographics of incoming migrants\nTime to change and ban those arrivals

As a person living for around twenty years in Canada, the real problem is too much supply of human resources from outside Canada especially from India. This is around 35% and trying to concentrate in certain areas of Canada. This has caused too much burden on Health care, Transportation, housing, and other public services in those areas. Unlike the time I migrated to Canada, all places are now overcrowded. There are not enough job opportunities due to the large influx of students. Thousands of applicants for one job from the day they arrive here. You can get some idea of how many applied on the job site Indeed. This has resulted in companies and job agencies exploiting students by paying low wages and firing them indiscriminately. Therefore, both the Canadian government and the Indian government have a role to play and Students too should be aware of the real situation here.

Elite Indians of India too spoilt. Don’t do anything by themselves,rely too much on external workers

We’ve been here since more than a year now and we don’t have a car and we love the pollution free air here and the work life balance. If you live downtown, you don’t need a car as public transport is very convenient. If you don’t want to do things on your own and you definitely need the help from maids and so on, then Canada isn’t for you. It all depends on where you find a house. Very few people in downtown own cars. If you want to live a healthier life, Canada is a good place for that. We came in winters and settled with the help of relatives and thankfully it’s been good so far. Summers are amazing here. Job market is a struggle currently but it’s not permanent. And it is possible to find a job from India if you try for it. If you’re in IT, you don’t need to start from scratch. There are Indian stores almost everywhere and many Indian restaurants as well. You just need to find your place. And it’s an amazing place for plant based vegan people. Food quality is amazing and great safety restrictions. Healthcare also depends on where you live. If you find your people and friends and keep socializing with family, loneliness won’t be there. It’s better to move to a new country when you don’t have kids. \nAlso the accent gradually develops and there’s nothing to worry about. This place is very diverse and there are people with very different accents from all around the world. There is some struggle initially but it all depends on what your priorities are. Life here is very comfortable once you get used to the lifestyle here and the biggest thing is, work life balance and the quality of life. If you want to do things other than your job, this is a good place to do that. Kids also become much more independent here. Rest it all depends on what your goals in life are. Also one of the biggest factors is, if your partner/husband isn’t willing to help with housework or cooking, you can’t survive here. As simple as that. Many factors to consider.

I have been in US for 20 years and can understand the experience that you are sharing. Frankly, countries like US and Canada are not for people who can’t do some basic things on their own. \nPeople leave their families and comfort of their home and come to these countries either to earn money, eventually have a good quality life or to provide a good quality education for their kids. If you don’t have a reason good enough to make that move and keep the option of running back home on facing little hardship then there is no way you can live in these countries. Forget about going and living in other countries you can’t even go and live in another state within India. Do you think it’s easy for a North Indian to go and live in South (or vice versa) where they encounter language and culture barriers? \nYou were in much much better situation as you already had PR and didn’t have to go through stress of handling uncertainty on your visa situation based on job.\nTrust me it takes few years for you to get adjusted to new environment, culture, people, food etc. But, as you spend more and more time in these countries you get more accustomed to way of living here and then you become so comfortable with it that you don’t want to go back at all.\nDon’t want to judge anyone but I guess in your case at your age with family already settled in India you didn’t have a solid enough reason to get out of your comfort zone and give time to get used to such big transition in your life

Is the same applicable when it comes to Hindus of India ? Because , this land was divided based on religion and a separate nations ( right now 2 ) exist - with one - being an Islamic republic . \n\nIs it too much to ask for Hindus and other religions to tell Muslims of India who voted for a separate nation by whopping majority (96%) when a poll was conducted by the British but still chose to stay in India ??? \n\nWhy should Indian majority be any concerned about the so called minority with 20% of population who create more ruckus than the real minorities like Jains and Parsis ? \n\nBy the same logic - Muslims of India should just go and settle in Pakistan!!!

I criticized the genocide of my Sikh brothers, sisters and children in riots in Delhi in 1984. That incident is the one that led few sikhs but not all to ask for a separate nation that should be named Khalistan and I want the media to not to call those sikhs “extremists”in foreign countries, we can call them Sikhs asking for separate country, they can not be called “Khalistanis” either because Khalistan doesn’t exist. Also, sikhs and Hindus always got along well. In all India, there are sikhs living everywhere just like Hindus. There was never a conflict or dispute between them. I grew up in a society where my neighbors are all mixed Hindus and Punjabis. As much as Sikhs visit Hindu Temples same goes for Hindus visiting Gurudawaras. How about our film industry, there are so many sikh Punjabis like the Kapoors, the Malhotras, they don’t want to leave India also. I don’t want to my Indian sikhs to make a separate nation. I want the Indian police not to discriminate against certain religion and not be biased. If a Hindu policeman saves a Hindu criminal and wrongfully and falsely put a non Hindu person in jail then it’s purely wrong and discriminatory and same thing goes for a Sikh policeman. How about our soldiers, majority of our soldiers are Hindus and Sikhs, they are protecting India and it’s citizens. I want people of all religions and backgrounds in India to live peacefully and get along.

Canada, ha you mean India, in the last decade 100s of 1000s of Indians have flooded to Southern Ontario (which by all measures is Canada) to the point that sometimes one feels like they are stranger in a strange land. Of the 2.2 million who arrived last year approx 500,000 are students They are huge profit centre for landlords and colleges and universities. And let's not talk about healthcare!!!\n\nThe other huge issue is healthcare - forget about getting a family doctor these days it's a choice between MAID or going to the US to get life saving healthcare (paid out of pocket of course). Long term not much will change - discussing immigration is still verboten in Canada and while I expect the Conservatives to form the next majority government thier policies mirror those of the Liberals.\n\nBTW it's not a half million per year it's well over a million new comers per year!

You have tried to explain very well the initial struggle faced by new immigrants. This does take years and sometimes decades to settle down properly in a new country for first generation. First generation Indians try to save as much as they can while cutting corners. Things have relatively become much easier as there are plenty of jobs for those who have professional degrees and substantial experience. I personally found Canadian bachelor of engineering was far superior than masters of computer science in USA. I enjoyed spending four years in downtown Toronto while full time studying in late 80’s before moving back to USA. Someone else mentioned here in previous thread that all of their friends are much better off in India. I feel more or less the same way in spite of having three engineering degrees and 40 years experience. I am strong believer in Karmas, your destiny will take you where you’re supposed to be. what has been shared in this video is nothing that people are not aware of. Everybody knows that you have to do all the work yourself,no maids, cooks, etc. like India.These facts have been there for years, nothing new about them. If people want to got there for further education, it is different, but then Canada is not all that good as far as higher education is concerned, there are better countries to choose from with better weather conditions and better lifestyle and high class education. Who would want to live in a cold and inhospitable country, payig through your nose. Here in India, if we fall sick even with just cough / cold, we can go to the nearest doctor and get medicines, sometimes we can even just ask the pharmaists to help us to choose some medicines for pharmasist here are half doctors.\nEven our standard of living has become so good, that we don't even feel like shifting to a new country. We have metros, good buses both AC as well as non AC, good trains, good resturaunts, hotels, what is it that we don't have here?\nIt is always better living as a first class citizen in our own country, than living like second class citizen elsewhere. The attraction and the charm of living abroad is no longer there.\nOur country has improved so much and so fast in the last 10 years, we have good bathrooms in schools and other public places, which was not there previously. Only drawback in our country is the traffic and infrastructure, which will also become better, but will take time, because of our country's population.\nIn fact you will find servants and watchmen all coming to work in a bikes or scooters, which was unthinkable some years back. Their life has changed for the better, they live in rented flats/or on lease, their children study in good schools and so on, and they dress also so well, that you cannot differentiate between them and the people they work for.\nMany of the so called advanced countries do not have many well educated people like our country, the children there are not as knowledgeabe like Indian kids, their knowledge is limited to the town they live in, they don't know anything about the world outside.\nAnd now with the Khalistani terrorist living freely there it is all the more dangerous. Have visited many countries for on-site business work, including Canada but India is good despite all the chaos, espcially South India. Started my career in infosys Chandigarh, then Gurgaon then Bangalore. My parents also might move in with me next year and Im also planning to start my own Food eatery. Over 95% Sikhs are just like me and patriotic and Love India, but yes there are issues in Punjab which need to be addressed...\nBut a large portion of the blame sadly goes to Sikh politicians. I want to tell the youth that Khalistan is a waste of time and politicians in Punjab, especially sikh politicians are completely bullshit. They are corrupt and have no vision and rely on rural votes which is sikh majority and Jazbaati over every issue and largely into farming. The Punjabi Hindus, baniyas, aggarwals and Jains own the urban economy and are comparatively more practical and forward looking in life. Many of these sikh politicians sadly themselves are involved in drug, own illegal abortion centres and labs, and even coaching centres to send students to canada on fake letters in exchange for a lot of money...\nI want to tell the youth, There is a lot of good opportunity in India. I know Punjab doesnt have much as of now (hope someday one of us can take our experience and setup a startup hub there), but other cities like Pune, Hyd, Bangalore, Mum, Chennai etc are good and once you have a stable job, its quite satisfying. schools in America and Canada are DAYCARE. they aren't Schools. also you seriously forgot to mention the rampant BULLYING that goes on., your child WILL be made fun of whether he is white black or any other race. dealing with that is scary frustrating and really hurtful. even priyanka Chopra was bullied as was I many many times by all races except Indian (I am Indian NRI living and working in New York City as a teacher in public and private schools including college courses for 20 years now). your children WILL suffer in the primary and secondary school systems here. Okay I have seen some non-sense in the comments section and I think Indian government should stop Indian students going to Canadian universities thereby fuelling their toothless economy by billions of dollars every year. Why can’t Trudeau take a simple stand against granting visa to Indian students if they think they are a major player in this world. You would have stayed at least 6 months cause within 3 months you feel depressing, that's obvious. \nQuality of life is much better than India. Also, try to stay near Indian communities area so don't feel home sick.

Its really bad in Canada right now. I can't visit any Gurudwara because all have turned into Khalistani haven. If you speak in favor of Bharat, they target you and even beat you up. Health care is very bad. I had severe tooth pain but did not get any support . I was asked to come after 4 months. I came back to India for a holiday and I can't convince myself to go back. Khalistanis are making it hell and even threatening Hindus. Govt is supporting them so there is no hope for future. Except for some big Canadian Universities, most are scam and are targeting Indian students. They know Indians want to migrate there. I have seen students waste their money at these crappy Universities, after which they did not get any job and ended up coming back to India. Think and Research a million times before you decide to go to Canada. India is much better than Canada and most probably I will move back. I will have to go back once to pack up everything but I am leaning towards living in India. I might look for jobs in USA and UK but I am done for Canada. It is too much hype

Canada must get rid of so much Indians. Indians will turn Canada into India.

The medical treatment and facility is much better now in India. You can go to any specialist on one or two days prior appointment. While it takes weeks or some times 3 to 4 months to get to see a specialist in western country. And majority of doctors in western countries are Indians. Over all today's India quality of life and ease of living is much better than earlier years when people use to migrate to Canada ,UK or USA.

Canada privacy is so much...no neighborhood like Indians.....cannot talk with anyone in the mall or during shopping....difficult to make friends....India is rich in culture friendship...social life is good in India

Listen... I'm all for helping out fellow human beings but it seems this person was blocking her way which you can see, and she explains that this isn't the first time he's done that! The fact he spoke to her in Indian just shows he is not culturally appropriated to our language or even laws for that matter! Forget parents, even many immigrants are unhappy in Canada. Every time I run into an Indian who has studied or lived in US he is frustrated. 2 people in my team received their Canadian citizenship and have started trying for positions in US. 3 white Canadians in our company moved to US in last 2 year itself.\nCanada is not a great country from parents. It's cold, white and depressing throughout. Many parents can stay for relatively longer in California or Texas where there is vibrant community and weather is very much like India. I lived for 10 years of life in snow before moving to Canada - Massachusetts, North Carolina and Virginia. I just 2 winters, I feel depressed in Canada as it's white for 4 to 5 months.

So why are these students spending so much money on an education which guarantees no future, I accept India is lacking in job creation but I can guarantee the amount of money you are paying just to complete your college years is more than what you could invest on private colleges in India and create your small scale buisness, like it's bullshit to live a miserable life in Canada, away from your family and not trying to put efforts in your own nation... I agree India is not Canada but it's way better if you are Indian

All the students featured have good enough English to land an IT job in India also. It is well known that everyone in IT goes onsite. Initial salary is around ₹30K/month. Most people cross ₹100K/month in about 3-5 years & there is no upper limit of how much you can earn. There are ways to settle abroad outside of these high-risk methods too. Look at how South Indians immigrate. There are no shortcuts to success. One has to toil...

My question, and I know I'm gonna get eaten alive, is why so many Indians? What about people from the rest of the world? Canada feels like India these days. I would like to see more diversity. Also, Canada needs to do better about making sure there's more diversity in its numbers. Also, Canada needs to ensure colleges don't charge so much more. Afterall, we who eventually get PR will be paying taxes too (which is the rationale given for why local students pay less).

Oh god this is sooo sad to see and very misleading,Indian universities are as good or even better than some Canadian and US unis, also dont forget countries like Russia, Poland, Czech trust me guys, universities there are much much harder and better knowledge is provided. An American and Canadian students will find it very difficult to pass the exams in those countries compared to their own. \nSo I dont understand why Indians dont go to those EAST EU countries or stay in India, the best Medical unis,IT,engineering, Architecture, bio chemistry and many more are actually in India and east European countries including Russia.

Sad story really, but there are many other international students who get it even worse. At least Indian students speak English, have a very large support community in Canada (where pretty much every other person is from India). I only speak because I know. Try coming to this land with no English and no connections at all ...and from a small country in South America, then you really are in trouble.

Taking Knife in campus is really stupidity, even if it is part of Sikh Community. I am Indian, and I belive if you are in India, Sikh can pretty much wear it where you can. But if you are in other country, you should abide by their law. Otherwise why the heck you are even traveling to other countries.
