We know why HE is doing this. He is pushing an imperialistic agenda, so he can be like those he admires. He's hoping that Canada will bend at the knee and give in so that he can claim Canada as a 51st state. But guess what? That won't happen. He's just doing himself and his country harm. He doesn't care about you, or me, or us as two countries that have always worked together. But we are setting up border security to keep American drugs, and weapons, and illegal migrants from coming into Canada. We're going to have to survive by reverting our trade to elsewhere, to depend on ourselves, to boycott U.S. products. We may be nice, but we are also tough. We love our society, our democracy, and our benefits. We won't give that up. Growing up, I lived in South Western Ontario, I used to go back and forth from Canada to the U.S. with no issues. Now, I'm sad to say, I won't ever be going to the U.S. again. Let's all hope for a brighter future for both countries.

What can the average American do?? We have no say. We have no wins. Our jobs are being ripped out from under us. While they Ski and Golf. Not to mention the crypto crap.. Well idk my market is going up very nice today. Also we can make every Canadian goods at home so that there is no weight to his words in my eyes. I do say if Canada is doing all these measures though it would be nice to come to an agreement with Canada. To be friends with neighbors is always better than not being friends. So overall I'm kinda torn between it all. We don't need Canada to be honest but just because we don't need them does not mean we should not work with them. Very tuff situation at this moment.

As a US citizen, I apologize on behalf of this corrupt administration. I certainly didn't vote for the ??, and I'm not sure how anyone could have... yet, here we are. Half of the US certainly deserves it, and I fully understand the need for extreme measures at this point. What he did to Zelenskyy and what he is doing to our allies...yall do what ya gotta do. When I was growing up in Canada, hearing of someone being a “Proud American” was something I admired. Today it’s a punch line to a joke about the American education system. They have nothing left to be proud of, and I’m so thankful to be from this country instead. Trump administration or not, the American people can not be trusted to vote in their own self interest, let alone the interests of the allies that stood with them for the last century and who have lost lives sending men and women over seas to answer the American call for friendship, justice, and loyalty. Those commenting about what we are doing to Ukraine need to get their heads out if the sand…the Ukrainian people don’t want Zelinski but cannot get rid of him! He has taken hundreds of billions of dollars from the US and has no plan for peace in his nation…Pres Trump says enough is enough, and he is trying to not only end the war, but recoup massive amounts of money we wrongly gave through a deal for natural resources. Sounds like a plan that’s good for everyone involved, and that’s how you make deals! We cannot give whst we do not have & with our debt , we cannot afford to keep printing money, devaluing the dollar, and giving it away at the expense of hard working N Americans!

We are less than two months into DJT's term, and I have to say it's turning out much worse than I expected (and I thought it would be pretty bad). It is terribly depressing to see the country fail while roughly half of it's people cheer it on. We're seeing the fall of the US in real-time, and I'm not sure how we come back from this. I'm exhausted, and we're just getting started.
