I don't understand racist nationalistic French Canadians like this. France lost, and the British let them stay and even made their language an official language. Given that context, this randomly targeted racist behavior is a very embarrassing faux pas.

Im Asian and I love Vancouver! The weather is beautiful and mild! I enjoy the rainy days cozying up with nice jazz music on gorgeous cafes and restaurants Vancouver has. It is expensive yes, however if your Asian its not, you just havent explored the Asian market place, cheap housing are also available in the outskirt cities and the best part of it is you are near the beaches and outdoor recreation and fun! Taxes are high yep thats true however with three different surgeries my family had from Apendicitis, to Gall bladder stone removal and stent angioplasty that could have cost us millions but got it for free, also the Free education, Child support, CERB, etc, taxes doesnt seem to matter anymore. British Columbia's mountain ranges, ski resort, hot springs, also Albertas Banf, Jasper, and Canmore for me are truly majestic safe and beautiful! Ive been all around South east Asia Europe and even the middle east however the welcoming nature and culture of Canadians and the power of a canadian Passport for me trumps all other cities in other countries. If you want to learn extreme news go to Asia like, China, North Korea, and the Philippines, also the USA the most extreme of them all! Rules are indeed frustrating but Canadian rules are nothing compared to Singapore, if you want freedom try India, try to walk in sexy clothing on the streets. In the Philippines everybody drives drunk specially on Friday nights. The Canadian mindset of a Multi cultural communinty and the welcoming athmosphere of their thinking for me is the reason why Canada is truly the best place to live.

I’ve been British Colombia for 2 months, I think it’s a bit boring, because there’s only one amusement park, others are water park, but I really don’t like water parks.

We were crossing into Canada by Niagara, as soon as the Canadian border guard saw our British passports, before we had even passed them over he said you folks British, no need for that nonsense, were not like that bunch of tight arses over there, gesturing towards the US, come on in and have a great stay ? love Canadians just for that ?

I agree with most of your video. I grew up in Quebec and its the best province in Canada. I think British Colombia deserve a better spot like number two. I lived two months there and Vancouver Island is an incredible place for vacation.

I'm so lucky I've got dual citizenship Canadian and British passports so after living in Canada for 10 years I decided to move back to the UK ?? to settle down with my wife and my beautiful kids. One thing I hated about Canada was the weather, public transport, lack of fashion and the foods was horrible. I've spent 10 years and the only thing I like is the Canadian passport that I have and that's all.

Looks like this program isn't offered for British Columbia.

Canada has problems like any other country prostitution drug abuse and homeless people especially up north . British Columbia is also one of the worst with skid row . Look we got enough problems don't visit just stay where u are LMAO

This is bullshit, it's not that bad, all the immigrants I know love it here, taxes are better in other provinces and pay is better in the higher tax provinces. It's the same stuff in the US. Like British Columbia has a tax of 15% but better pay, Saskatchewan has a provincial tax of 11% but lower pay and it works like that, we let people keep their country and culture here and alot of this is more untrue than true. We want people to teach us their culture and we teach them ours, Canada is a country built off of other cultures and original cultures into 1

I agree with this. Lived in Montréal for 10 years, Quebec has it all. But, moved to New Brunswick for cheaper housing market, visited British Colombia, Manitoba, and Nova Scotia it's all beautiful too, but always love going back to Ontario, so many things to see and do esp if you're a sports fanatic it has (NBA/NHL/MLB etc. Also, I love Alberta for it's majestic scenery esp Banff but I don't like it's politics.

I'm currently living in New Brunswick and have lived in Ontario and British Columbia, but as Dorothy said in the Wizard of Oz, there'sa no place like home, and I home.

I love how you said that the schools in Newfoundland and Labrador are good… the teachers are okay, but there are a LOT of drugs and shit passed around in schools around here. It’s honestly awful. But the picturesque part is true, along with the shitty weather. And downtown St John’s is pretty nice, although it’s filled with skeets (basically people that act like gangsters, that smoke weed, vape, etc etc. It’s only really bad on the west end of St John’s and Mount Pearl though, so you should be fine if you avoid those parts). As much shit as I may have talked here, I still love living here, and it’s certainly better than Manitoba\n\nPS: we newfies have a really wacky accent, that can be kind of hard to understand especially if we’re talking fast. Imagine Scottish, British and a Boston accent mashed together, but people speak 50x faster. So that may take awhile to get used to

I don't think so Sikh cares if Canada becomes like British where muslims started to demand sharia law

Good Evening,\n\nNice video actually about finding a job in Canada, but to be honest. I couldn't find an agency that could help me to find a job specifically in B.C ( British Colombia ). A little bit about me, I'm a programmer ( website and app developer ) in addition to that I'm a designer and already have a job in my country, but I need a source that is reliable source to show me a company that needs a person like my skills.

Imo Kelowna British Columbia has the best weather in canada. Gets up to 40 degrees in the summer but max gets like -10 degrees in the winter. And it’s sooo beautiful

Correction: Canada uses European floor scheme more than us. Cricket and Rugby are more popular in Canada than USA though rugby is more popular than cricket in Canada. Also their accent is a mix of American and British like Australian English but the rhoticity is one of the similarities to US English. Also Aluminium and ise spelling is acceptable in Canada

Hi Jason, this is a very nice video that you have put up. I am going to begin the entire process. However, I would be grateful if you could clarify on below points.\n\n1.In the British council site there are three exams for IELTS, Book paper based and computer delivered ielts (academic and general training), IELTS for UK visas and immigration (academic and general training?, IELTS life skills (A1 and B1). Which test should I take? \n\n2.If my application has been rejected can I apply for it again?\n\n3.Based on your experience what would be the Canadian equivalent of a three yr course of B.com in India?\n\n4. Do these crs scores fluctuate? like at times they are high and at times they are low\n\n5.Will my score increase if I happen to do a masters (part time) after I submit my application? \n\n6.Also I am doing a one year diploma in freight forwarding (its validated by an international agency called fiata), will they accept that score as well if I submit it?\n\nSorry for the long post, will appreciate any kind of response. Thank you.

I've been to the USA and Canada (Alabama, Florida and Georgia in the USA; and Alberta and BC in Canada). I really liked both of them, but I preferred the Canadian food and people. Also, British and Canadian spelling is literally the same; we still have colour, favourite, and realise.\n\n\nI really liked the video Drew, but I'm pretty sure apple pie is British, and it's amazing here :/

At least two more differences between the US and Canada (I'm a Montrealer myself with American-born parents):\n\n1) When going to the different parts of Canada, they feel that much more different from each other (in the buildings, highway signs, etc.) than the different parts of the US. For example, British Columbia feels like a foreign country compared to not just Quebec (the most obviously different province in Canada) but also compared to Nova Scotia or Manitoba, whereas Washington state or Minnesota is less different than Pennsylvania or Massachusetts.\n\n2) Native Americans (or First Nations, as they're called in Canada) make up a way higher proportion of the Canadian than American population, though less so percentage-wise in Montreal or Toronto or even Quebec City, and they are thus much more in the consciousness of the average Canadian than the average American.

What has happened this is a Christian country NOT a Muslim one if we did something like this toward Muslims we would be the worst type of people imagineble we would be called racists and all sorts and no wonder why some people think that violence is the way because the British police are too incompetent and too scared of being called a racist now the days of Thatcher and Winston are gone British are being walked all over sad to see it's happening under our ?! When are we going to wake up and fight for our British values WakeUp!

As a Canadian who has traveled to 12/13 provinces/territories (sorry NFLD) and all regions of the mainland USA I have couple comments. First, both Canada and the USA the accents and culture are very different depending on the area (another similarity!). People from Vermont have more in common with people from New Brunswick than they do with their fellow Americans in Texas. People from British Columbia have more in common with people from Washington than they do with Quebeckers. Second, I actually find that Americans are super friendly in some states, more outgoing than Canadians (like say Tennessee). Also, Drew, if you ever want to go to the Far North in Canada it's a whole other world of Inuit people speaking Inuktitut on Baffin Island - for me that area seems like another country!

Why do you think thecsenterment is changing, if you dont know then you are not looking and listening to the population. This is happening in europe and the british isles, but npt japan, not china, not russia, not korea, why do you think that is. Like most cancers it eats from the inside out. Dont say you havent been warned.

My mother's background is ambiguous based on looks. She's actually English and Irish but she has dark brown hair and dark brown eyes and naturally tanned skin. It's very unusual for someone of British ancestry, but family photo's of Mum's family show the same colouring back to her great-great-grandfather. In Britain, as a blonde, blue-eyed daughter, I've watched my whole life as people treated her differently to other relatives. She's quiet, polite and her father was a police chief inspector, she strictly obeys the law. I've overheard people refer to her as a 'paki' and all sorts of derogatory things. When we went to the US, it wasn't better. They were rude to her until she spoke and then reacted with shock. Some admitted they thought she was Mexican. \nSo, is it any easier for her in Canada? When she visits me here, she is mistaken for an aboriginal. It isn't any easier for her here. And pettiness of it all. When they hear her accent, suddenly it's like she's their best friend. \nThe sad/funny thing is, often I can't find customer service more than half the time I'm out. When I'm with my mother, there is ALWAYS someone around to ask for help.

Where are the good British Patriots. If I was 30 years younger, my friends and I would be patrolling these areas and beat the fuck out of these anti-western pricks. Set them up by getting someone like a guy with a beer, or woman with short dress, and when they come up and harass them, teach them that this is Britain and not Iraq.

why is the Muslim population projected to rise especially in Christian majority countries? Not because of Muslim immigration as propagated by Islamaphobic news. It's because of a growing number of woke Christians discovering the truth that was hidden from them. There is no active evangelism like in Christianity where they try to recruit followers for the church and convert people to become Christian. During the 1600s enlightenment era in England, critical reading of the bible led to the rebirth of a non-trinitarian strain within Christianity. Their doctrine is same as Islam. Toleration Act 1689 Unitarians were not treated as English citizens, like foreigners in their own country (no right to work, school etc), they were an oppressed group. The history of early Christianity is the history of the suppression of true Christians. Their victory was realized only with the advent of Islam. The Unitarian Christians became the first British Muslims.

If they deny openly British rule over British soil, you should cancel their residence permit or British citizenship and deport them. If they resort to violence and resistance by carrying out rebellious activity. I don't suggest you to sit back and watch like a p#ssy, need to teach them where they are. People, those who have no right of freedom of speech if they are against freedom.

I am shocked at the fact there are more dislikes than likes when the CBC provides facts and so many people say they are lies, and others agree! The negative sentiments about refugees and immigrants are getting louder and people are happy to call fellow human beings “them”. They insinuate this is a huge burden, when the fact is we benefit from migration. It seems people think Canada will be over run by people from a foreign land, take all the resources and eliminate people born here, but that’s only happened once, when the British and the French arrived 400 years ago.

I'm not minimising the racism here but I have been followed and asked to open my backpack, I'm British white but must look like a thief to security . One time the shop was my football club's merchandise shop . I think the management realised the security personnel were over zealous because they didnt last long . It doesn't feel very nice to be thought a thief but to decide who could be a thief because of ethnicity is disgraceful.

In middle ages, Kazakhstani people were the most feared rivals of Muslim Civilizatiion. And in no way they could conquer us by means of war. So what they did is they sent a whole bunch of missionaries to our land, but in pursue of converting us into Middle Eastern religion, they changed themselves. Just like early Christianity that came also from middle East has changed under the influence of antique European culture. \nOur Tengrian culture mellowed down lots of Islamic rules, also many of us turned atheist  during Soviet Union, and learned critical thinking, I am an atheist, my mom is a muslim. My father is an atheist. All my surroundings are muslim. We argue sometimes about religion but mostly for the sake of discussion not a fight. But don't get fooled by the number of muslims here, we do not allow  any religious fundamentalism in our country. \nAnything that is not a part of our culture in Islam is being rejected. Like we do not allow kids to wear hijabs at school. Religious speeches are not allowed in schools and secular institution. Yet we have a growing number of mosques (all under strict control of our government) \nSo if kept as a religious community, where people help each other overcome the hardships of life, practice it moderately without pushing to anyone it is possible to have adescent muslims, but in no way it should be in contact with Middle Eastern ideologist that treats Western civilization as an enemy. \nYou guys need to separate british muslims and mosques from Middle Eastern warlords influence. It is a slow process, but it is worth it as it is the only adult way to deal with Islamic fundamentalism. Not by hating on your fellows citizens just because they are muslim.

Even Muslim countries don’t follow sharia. They are more likely to follow British Common Law or Code Napoleon. \n\nThese people are actually ignorant about reality and trying to impose a reality that does not exists on Muslims and Non Muslims.
2019-03-19 0
This would be like imposing Sharia Law right underneath the statue of Liberty. The east end of London is an iconic slice of everything that is British. The Brits have gone soft, they just roll over and take it.

What are people talking about saying half of Canada is french! Canadians are English and there used to be tons of us in Montreal, but 300,000 left in a mass exodus to get the French whip off their backs, they even fill the French text books with lessons given by the French whip instead of the truth about how the French didn't want to fight in the war and the old cemeteries are full of Irish, Scottish and British soldiers like my grandfather and uncle buried in veteran memorial plots with sad little Quebec government markers! Meanwhile, their English speaking grandchildren like myself not only have a back full of lash marks from the French whip but the French speaking immigrants think they can use the French whip to grind us into the ground our ancestors are buried in as well!!!

It's not cold everywhere in Canada. People who say Canada is cold are just ignorant. It's hot as hell in British Columbia right now. \n\nIn fact, most of the provinces in Canada have hot weather during the summer just like USA.

multicuulturism isn't the problem in Britain for Sikhs, hindus, Budhists, jews or virtually any religious or cultural group you can think of. All of these groups are completely integrated into British society ,and for them and with them Multiculturism works. The problem is with Islam which is a monoculturist monotheistic culture that doesn't mix, doesn't assimilate but does everything it can to introduce creeping Sharia law and Islamic social structures into the host country to creat Islamic conditions wherever they can and have the expectation that we will be assimilated in time into their culture .This is the essential imperative of Jihad which they couldn't separate themselves from if they tried. And in this ,they are a little like the Borg. How can they be expected to assimilation into a pluralist culture is absolutely unislamic it cannot happen don't blame muticulturism ,its not the problem, the pressing problem is the MONOCULTURISM  of Islam. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water.Instead throw out Islam send as many muslims as you can back to their country of origin and tear down the mosques. And then the rest of us genuine multiculturists can get on just fine together and become even more unified even more free even more fearless and less divided now that we have expelled the toxic element once and for all.

He seems like an honest and good guy who just wants to provide for his family and ensure a better future and life for them. I can respect that fully and I admire that greatly.\n\nBut a big HA!! to all those looney liberals who don't know anything about Canada and think that everyone has it so much better over in the north. I'm from the U.S. and I LOVE both the U.S. and Canada, I do. Besides its looney lefty politics, Canada has some beautiful places to see, especially in British Columbia for me. However, Canada is just like the rest of the world; they have their problems, they have their crime, they have their poor and they have STRICT IMMIGRATION policies.

when the British patience is finally lost the response to things like this will be swift. a pivotal scandal will trigger a huge shift in public opinion before too long then look out. British anger will explode into violence, violence unmatched on British soil I think.I cant see any other possible outcome, too much has happened, too much has been hidden from the public, to many crimes concealed and nothing like whats needed has been done by our politicians and government. whats comin is wrol street justice. the systems in place that should be addressing these societal issues have very little credibility left, hardly any are trusted by the public, some are now even viewed as being anti British behaving in such a manor as to conceal and protect crimes of those against british if they are not british citizens or politically active Muslims opposed to western democracy.its not goin to end well for anyone whose facilitated this organised deceit of the truth. whod admit to being a guardian or independent author when that moment arrives....

Guys I'm a Friendly Christian British Citizen and I would like to know why is everyone from US or Canada against Muslims?? Please answer this question, Thank you
2015-04-03 0
This is a lie. Very likely the British media pays this gangster to do their thing so they can carrion on blaming the Muslims. I am not religious so all are the same to me.
2014-03-07 0
If these Islamists want to ruin their own countries with their dark ages philosophy then that's fine with me but this is a Christian country and they have no jurisdiction here whatsoever.  British law should come down heavily on these extremists when they come here and start throwing their weight around and if they don't like it they can GO BACK HOME!
2013-10-19 0
British society in itself is a little too hypocratically inwards looking and soft to handle these kinds of problems.\n\nWhat I see is a European civil war, which would certainly be won by the natives, as these minorities have no representation in the police, army or civil services.\n\nBut the economy would take a beat and europe would if not for ever ..would loose its place in the global society. Countries like China Brazil India Russia and RSA would benefit a lot from them.

the only reason so many immagrants are here is because of the damage done by the british empire so..... maybe stop acting like britain is this amazing kind place

I am white British but u raceists make me sick u are so prejudisted against Muslims and Muslims take there beliefs to violant unecacery and plain irrational levels both of u have to get a grip and get along like in a ideal world

I'm not a British citizen, but hey, if these muslims don't like the culture and tradition of the country they're living in then they're welcome to fuck off to their Middle Eastern & African countries! Fuck 'em!

Britain, Take lessons from Burma, China or India. If shit like this happened in Asia, Natives from these Nations would be on the streets rioting and expressing their dissatisfaction defending their Nation and Culture. \n\nBritish people simply don't care about their own Nation, You have no respect for your own Culture, Nation or History, Hence you let these Dark Age scum dominate you ! All respected citizens of Britain who call themselves British should support the EDL !!!

Britain is not Taliban, stop forcing the laws that are Shariya in origin. The so called Muslim leaders, on news seem appalled, but in real, I am sure they are supporting and funding these jobless Muslim.\n\nPolice and Military actions should be take against illegals like these, heck police should also associate with Neo Nazi's and Skin Heads with the to drive these people out.\nI am an Indian who has lived in the UK. While my community of Hindus and Sikhs have assimilated into the British culture..
