As an American who not unlike more than half of this country believe this president and his administration are going down a very dangerous path. It feels like a runaway train, why can't we stop it, why can't we remove him, the impending damage that is about to take place seems obvious. Donald Trump is managing the [very rapid] decline of the post-war US empire. He understands that he needs to let go of the levers that made the United States a de-facto empire after the end of World War II. Those levers of power will - WILL - be taken away from the United States, whether we like it or not, and regardless of our willingness to give them up. President Trump understands this. He is attempting to pilot the United States toward a rough (but survivable) landing and to prevent a cataclysmic crash after the loss of those levers of power. You know… I couldn’t really afford to buy food and survive before the tariffs anyways. That’s why I’m getting sicker and not better. Seniors and disabled Canadians couldn’t survive on $400 or less a month, with regular pricing. Tariffs are only going to make more apparent what was already there, and give politicians a scapegoat, now that they’re forced to pay attention to poverty. Kind of like how Covid became the scapegoat for negligent and non existent health care.

This trade war is only going to bring True Americans, Canadians and Mexicans closer together in solidarity against the Trump Regime.
