Only the Indian news media and govt says India is rising in power, rest of the world still consider India a third world country. Another thing is when I was in school I had a subject called civic sense, where we were taught about how to behave in public, don't know if that is taught still, if that is not there make it a compulsory subject teach kids from childhood how to behave in public.

Lots of phone scammers have already got the Green card in the USA. Scammers were given student visa by carriers and they work as couriers. Stealing from poor people.\nIn UK ALL of scam calls I am getting are from Kolkata. They steal poor pensioners without any heart. Heartless and cruel. Indian students miss behave, laugh and talk louder on the high streets, drop waste on the street. Truthfulness, kind heartless should be part of education system. as an NRI who lived in US, UK, and Canada, I can tell you that the so called developed nations are over hyped. Yes, there are so many things that are better in these countries compared to india, but all these countries lack one thing. Respect towards fellow human beings. I lived in several states in India, we have problems, but nothing compared to these countries. Indians don't belong outside of india. Don't go to any country out side of iindia...you are not welcome. I came back to india and I am living peacefully.

I remember when my country Indonesia still gave Indians visa access like everyone else. It was horrible! Our airports were swarmed with unruly and mannerless Indians. They complained to be, discriminated, when they were treated like anybody else. What worse was they called everybody Chinese and made it the reason to fight with them, even with security guards! Everyone look Chinese to them. Such bigoted people were security and stability threat for everyone. They should stay in India since India is already ruined anyway. Anyway, reality is India, and the Modi government’s priority, is to ensure Indian intake into foreign countries increases substantially. This is due to the lack of jobs and resources locally. The bigger issue is fraudulent applications. The Australian government blacklisted student applicants from Punjab, Gujarat, Bihar and 3 other states for high proportion of fraudulent applications. Sadly, after Narendra Modi visited Sydney when a Quad meeting was called off but Modi still travelled, Gujarat was removed from the blacklisted states. One fraud leading to another fraud. That is the core DNA of the country and the genuine applicants too suffer.

I think most western countries are fed up with indian scams and calll center scams. On a daily basis people get 3-10 calls from scam indian call centers. Usa lost over 10 billion dollars to indian scammers last year. Maybe shut down those scam centers and catch those criminals and maybe western countries will start allowing more indian visas.

Thank you for bringing this to the forefront. Also, I think what is equally if not more damaging is that our experience of Indians is that they cheat. Whether a driving school, moving company or other business, they are well known to bypass regulations and swindle Canadians. Demanding overcharges at the time of delivery etc. If there is a scam running, they are involved. In about 2004 almost every Indian real estate agent in Alberta had their license pulled because they were proven to be involved in mortgage fraud on a massive scale. Not to mention we can no longer enjoy peace and quiet in our own homes without having some Indian calling us from India, trying to plant viruses on our computer, steal our life savings, or otherwise do as much damage to Canadians as they can. If there is a way to cheat the government or cheat on immigration, they will have their hand in it. I will not even talk to an Indian on the phone anymore - period! As a general rule, Canadians have learned that they can't be trusted.

I first want to address the rumour about human feces and dirty diapers being found on Canadian beaches, and I want to stand up for the people who called out Indians for doing this. Somebody saw something. Maybe they weren't able to produce any legal proof of it, but they clearly saw something, and there is nothing racist about them calling out this behaviour. This practice is not only unhygienic. It is ILLEGAL in Canada; so, it absolutely should be called out publicly to prevent it from ever happening again. I have seen many videos about the culture of mass open defection in India. The videos I saw were posted by Indians themselves. One of those videos was a TEDx talk done by a woman named Sangita Vyas who discussed the truth about open defecation and that it is not limited to only the poor population. Even people who can afford to build latrines are not using them, and she explains why after interviewing Indians to ask why. I've watched Indian doctors talk online about how many Indian children die from something as simple as diarrhea every year as a direct result of the water contamination caused by open defecation. So, clearly, open defecation is legal in India, and perhaps some of these people think if it's legal at home then it must also be legal elsewhere. WRONG. It's illegal in Canada. It's unhygienic. It should never happen. Period. And there is NOTHING racist about a Canadian saying this out loud and reminding people that they must follow the rules and laws of the country they are in.

My apt building is filling up with immigrants, all the whites are moving out as the landlord is letting our building turn into a slum, whenever i call, he is in India, he has not fixed a damn thing and as white people move out, he does not clean the apt between people, he let's them move in with other people's garbage, he did that to me and when i complained he asked for the keys back, he is also doubling the rent of the new immigrants. I am from Mexico city originally, I have lived 10 years in Canada but now it is India 2.0. As an immigrant I tried to learn the customs and values from Canada. I came and I speak the language and blend with the culture. I leave back in my country all the things I didn't like it. The problem with here is also with Khalistan issue (of course not all Punjabis there want Khalistan and are absolutely chill people and people here in India, Punjabis, also don't want Khalistan, I have some close friends who are Sikh and are most Dildaar, Big-hearted, people I know). Now, you may think that worsening relations with India is a good thing for Canada, yeah no, its not good because India has trade relations with Canada which may worsen due to this (yeah, great going for an economy which is already in shambles) and UK or US are not gonna do anything to India over Canada because India geopolitically has more significance than Canada (I'm not bragging, please don't misunderstand). They do not assimilate at all.
