Proud of you, Prime Minister Trudeau!

Couldn't be more proud of being Canadian. As an American-born who holds dual citizenship, I am incredibly ashamed of being associated with the USA in any capacity nowadays. Trudeau should go a step further and label Trump the soft fascist authoritarian he seeks to become.

From Ukraine with respect. A few decades ago our school hired a Canadian as a native speaker to teach us some spoken English. He was not very smart and made some grammar mistakes here and there. But what surprised me is how on his 1st day he tried to make a joke, smth. “We, Canadians, have nothing to apologize for, except for Celine Dion”. He startled to giggle, searching our faces for a sign of approval. There was none! We love Celine! To this day it astounds me how many Canadians badmouth their great singer or their own Prime minister. What is wrong with you? Like every Canadian I’ve met kept saying many unpleasant things of Trudeau. You should be proud of your prime minister the way you are proud to be Canadians and slow down on insulting him!

I am not the biggest Trudeau supporter at all but he makes me proud to be Canadian. Canadians will band together, we will get through this.

It's much like during COVID-19 when you were there for Canadians at every step, every turn with initiatives and concrete help. Too bad we cannot procure masks and vaccines to ward off Trump-25. You, your Ministers and Premiers are working so hard trying to reason with a lunatic addicted to power and chaos and inform Americans of the facts. With prorogation, there have been no Poilièvre shenanigans to waste time on and your complete focus has been, as always, on protecting Canadians. For this I thank you again and tell you how much you will be missed in our household. Forgive a personal note: I hope you and Mme Grégoire will find your way back to each other when you can be a family without the heavy burden of this job, a job I know you love. We are proud to have Prime Minister Trudeau lead the charge against the bombastic Trump trade war. It is unlikely that our MAGA Conservative leader, Pierre Poilieve, currently supported by Elon Muskrat and many of Trump's cronies, could ever deal with a trade war that would defend Canada.

Let Trudeau stay if Canadians are so proud of him. Trump is bringing back conservatism, resilience, hard work and merits back into US culture. And its no doubt conservative people can bear hardship far much more than woke people.\n1 week into the tarrifs when the reality hits hard, Canada would be on the streets. Negotiate before the tarrifs kick off... This fight would be counter productive for both sides, but Canada would suffer 10 times more.
