I recall a date now known universally as 9-11. Aircraft bound for USA landing in my home province because US airspace was shut down. 17 large aircraft parked in St. John's (where I live), and 27 parked in Gander (much smaller town, but has a big airport). I've lost track of whatever other aircraft had to find a home and a home for their passengers. Today, over two decades later, this is a stain on the US executive. Not Americans, the executive office. Congress took a powder. The executive office should represent Americans, but it doesn't. I feel sorry for the American citizens who will suffer.

Much of what Canada imports from the US can be replaced with non- American products, or even avoided completely.\nMuch of what the US imports from Canada is is big ticket stuff that can’t be replaced quickly in just a few days, weeks or even months.
