Need to investigate them. Every day, there are Indian newcomers, and our Canadians homeless and Burglars are on the rise. The Govt has to stop issuing a visa now.

what I find funny about this video is that While they are complaining about Just One Hindu Temple in Canadian city , They have no problem with Hundreds of Thousands of Churches built in India , with Govt of India's money assistance program , They want more churches in India , more conversions in India and They demand India to have open borders , and lecture India regarding Minorities whereas Minorities in India despite problems have expanded significantly with Govt sponsored Free of charge programs for them. I am Indian and the lady who was talking about adapting to the culture in the country you’re in, is absolutely right. \nBut then, Canada also needs immigrants and workers who can take up minimum wage jobs and most of them pay taxes. But yes, there are also antisocial elements that cause problems for everyone. Perhaps, to Canadianize the immigrants, the Govt can have cultural exposure and introduction classes. I wont make a drastic change but would definitely be a start. That being said, I am not sure how Homelessness and Drug Addiction is a related to immigration, I would consider it a mental health problem.

This is very ignorant. I understand that there is a very huge minority population in the community. However, these people were brought through by the policies of the Federal Govt. for the benefits of the Canadians. They play an essential role in providing and working in service industries, that white people dont want to work in. And as a promise of the multiculturalism in Canada, it is right of every person on this land to look any way they want, practice what culture they want etc. And the idea that this video presents as being white is what Canadian is very ignorant to the Natives of the land. This immigrants are mostly from one indian state ie Punjab. In Punjab every young person just have to dream i.e. to move to Canada. Being an Indian living in India I can tell you one thing that mostly people who are not 'good enough' in anything pay lumsum amount of money to move to Canada. For instance, most of the students going to Canada for study, lack foundational knowledge that should've been taught to them at school. Take a GRE-like exam by randomly selecting Indians residing in this area and u will understand what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, the current Canadian govt knows this and capitalise on this problem as they have turned the education system of Canada into a money-vending machine. Furthermore, no skill development opportunities and lack of jobs intensify these problems as these individuals are never exposed in a multicultural urban setting. That is why likeminded individuals aggregate and live in silos. Lastly, for my Indian brothers and sisters, I would like to say that yall should try to assimilate with the culture rather than live in silos. That doesn't necessarily mean yall should abandon ur religion and culture, but try to participate more in various activities associated with Canadian culture. Like Im a Hindu, but I participate in Eid & Christmas as well in India.. We should be open to new experiences, especially when moving to a foreign country, one should be able to adapt.. just like one adapts to the weather, one should also embrace the culture.. Try talking to people who are 'non-Indians', have a genuine conversation, find out the history of the place and various other key milestones in the region.. mostly engage in amicable social behaviour. Holding grudge & closing doors to new interactions would not solve anything, neither for Canadians nor for immigrants.. Live and let live.. Cheers!

Canadian education system is trap for international students and its good for nothing. Did you check how good and refine US education system is? \n\nBest bet: deport them and refund their fees. Coz those 1st floor colleges diplomas are good for nothing. I am from India living in India now. Never lived or worked in Canada, but visited Canada multiple times as a tourist.\n\nThis situation is kinda tricky for everyone. While immigration is unavoidable for any nation of today, the way people immigrate to other countries really frustrates. Nations just go by whatever documents are submitted to the embassies to grant visit/student/work visas. Most of the time, the documents are cooked up or forged in order to secure entry into other countries. This is very common in India as well. \n\nIndia too have serious problem with the Canadian Govt, which openly backs & harbors terrorists from India such as Khalistanis. Of late, Canada has become safe haven for global terrorists, who need a safe shelter. I still wonder, what is stopping India from getting Canada declared a terrorist state.

Being an Indian I think Canadian Govt. must make stricter rule regarding the change of character in the city's culture. You can't build outposts of India everywhere even if you are allowed in. The local people there seem pretty cool and adaptive. Build temple one or two but must assimilate to their culture, otherwise get out. Otherwise, Canada would be destroyed.

Everything the French lady said is spot on. My parents immigrated from Europe 60 years ago. They only speak English, they have never asked or taken handouts from the Govt. They assimilated themselves to Canadian culture. We played hockey as kids, ate pancakes and maple syrup. Immigrants today impose their religion and culture on us and we have to take it. Ive lived in brampton for 5 years. Yes we do have a good number of our people here. \nTalking about temples, thats what indian people do, we are religous. And i dont see anything wrong with having our temples built the traditional way. The city had no issue with it thats how they got permits to build. \nWhy so many of us live here …. Brampton is located very close to all major cities in gta. It has a good public\nTransport network…. A lot of colleges both convenient for the students. And more over the govt did not specify where new commers should go. \nI thought canada was always a land of immigrants from hundreds of years so dont know when they say too many of us here. We came like others…. Did the paperwork… got approved for visa. Students pay 3x the money for the same course a canadian would pay. Its contributing to the economy.

So many sly comments against Indians but when you went to the most dangerous part of Brampton, it was all ethnic white Canadians, who are drug addicts and homeless. So Indians aren't the problem here. Canada brought in too many immigrants and the local ethnic population could not compete with newcomer Indians who can often endure a lot of hardships and find innovative ways to earn money and live decently. Yes there may be 15 in a house in some places but at least they're not doing drugs or roaming homeless. There are some valid points in the video. However, I didn't get it when you said there are people here who don't look Canadian and don't feel Canadian. Punjabi Sikhs from India have been part of Canada since the early 1900s, and alot more came in the 1970s.... So the sikhs have been part of Canada for a long time... Question: How do you think working class immigrants afford multi-million dollar homes in places like Vancouver, Toronto, etc? Canadians are so ignorant about our over-generous “pension” system which is actually a welfare system b/c it requires no contributions or true commitment to residency nor a work history. Nor does it force immigrants to report their foreign assets or income unlike actual Canadians whose income and assets are closely monitored by the govt. These families sponsor their extended family members including elderly parents and grandparents while collect “pensions” from the feds and the province. Each elder collects approx $2,000/month from the feds while continuing to live in their home country. Think about it. A couple with 4 sponsored parents receives approx $8,000 per month which is paid out of general tax revenues collected from working Canadians who can’t afford rent let alone a down payment or mortgage. Canadian taxpayers buy million dollar homes for immigrants while they themselves can barely afford food.

It’s not the Indians at fault, it’s the Canadian govt. It’s them who advertise that Canada is an amazing place and you can get a PR the very next day to a billion Indians.

I know its a two side issue (Indian and Canadian). But I would blame our present govt for letting so many international students from a specific country. They didn't even bother to estimate the demographics of people who they are letting in. When you are looking for multiculturalism then set a quota from each country rather then only from one country. And also must make sure they speak english or French and at the same time adapt to our rules and culture.

You're free to judge but I have not seen any Indian/ Asian/ Latino immigrant homeless. Indians bring high skill in IT, banking and medicine which Canada desperately needs. Latino/ European ethnic immigrants also work very hard (construction/ farms etc.) and support their families and children. These basic skills keeps Canada running. Immigrant children are the highest number of graduate degree holders. Students line up in hundreds because they are willing to work and make a mark. They stand in freezing weather for hours just to try their luck. That's dedication. The only homeless I have seen are Canadians/ Native Americans even when the govt. pays millions in welfare and development programs to get their life back on track. Also, all these immigrants pay thousands of dollars to come to Canada (Visa fees, plane tickets, moving expenses) so that they can pay taxes to Canadians. Why are you crying all the time just they are not into cold pasta?

I used to study in one of Canadian colleges back in 2018 and lately graduated in 2021s. My parents paid the college instead of me , fortunately around 300K CAD for a college tuition fee to grocery fees to monthly room rentals in Toronto. \n\n I am a Korean national and i see there is no benefit for me to move in to Canada as Canadian cities have extremely high housing rentals compared to major cities in the US. I do hope US govt bridges and gets the internatinoal student in Canada approval for a work visa and possibly let them move in to small cities in the US.
