I went and viewed 3 vacant apartment in a building. Available immediately. I was ready to take one. I noticed, as we went to each apartment that they were all inhabited by Polish people. The Superintendent and the Property Manager, also Polish. I am guessing the owner was too.\nI am a single, middle aged, clean and healthy, responsible white woman. NOT polish though. After submitting my application and deposit I waited. 5 days later called and left a message, 2 days after, called again. No answer. Then, called from a Private number and they answered right away. I asked them the status of my application. We are sorry ... all three apartments taken. \nI believe I was discriminated against because I am not Polish. Oh well ... I've moved on. Found a great apartment up the street for less rent, free parking and a very welcoming atmosphere.\nLife goes on.

This is a great documentary. I assumed Canada was very inclusive and multicultural. I never heard about slavery in Canada or racism there. As an African-American woman I want to know all about the experiences of BLACK PEOPLE all over the world because we are connected. Many of our families were torn apart during slavery. Most of us can’t trace our history five generations. I’m glad we have YouTube to find information through documentaries like this one.

I agree with this law. For safety reasons. I have a few muslim women friends including two females family members that are muslim and they dont cover their faces. They also agree with this law. we all have the right to see the face of whom is around us. I also know one woman that is not muslim but dresses and covers her face like one. Why she does that I and my neighbours dont know why. She does not talk to anyone about it and only dresses that way when she goes out of the neighbourhood. What are her intentions to do such thing? She is portuguese does not speak arabic only portuguese and broken inglish. When we ask her why she does that we are told to mind our business. We feel that it is our business because she is very strange and like i said before she only dresses that way when she goes out of the area that she lives in. What is she up too? And like her how many more is out there doing this and why? Whthout any offence to the muslim people SAFETY should come first to everyone.

I am a muslim and everybody think that those guys who kill are real Islamic people , they are going to hell that what God said . First thing is that Islam is a peace religion and there is nothing to do with killing. Second thing there is God called Allah, who is the only God in this world and next one, doesn't want killing and deaths and in our religion God told and warned us not to kill people because he is the only one who kills and takes lives from people and we are harmed to kill. Third thing God told us that who kills one person as if he killed the whole people and that guy is going to hell. God said if a woman wants to cover her  body completely or does she want to cover her body except her face and hands its okay but the hair must be covered. THE PEOPLE YOU SEE IN THE BREAKING NEWS COVERED WITH MASK AND KILL  PEOPLE ARE NOT MUSLIM THEY ARE OUT OF ISLAM AND THEY ARE GOING TO HELL.

Racial profiling is a myth. It's unfortunate an entire race must pay the price but when the majority is committing the crime the innocent few are irrelevant. These are the facts. One comment blamed white people but a lot of these people shown making remarks to the woman collecting money were not white. Choice or not women cover their faces so that when men see them they won't have impure thoughts about them. You're not being respectful towards them by covering yourself, you acknowledge that they are weak in flesh and that it is a woman's fault that they are weak in flesh.

That Muslim woman in the reddish/pinkish/purplish lace shirt with the brown turtle neck: She needs to look up taqiyya and abrogation and ask herself whether she wants to be a part of that brutality. Unless she knows this all full and well, but is practicing taqiyya herself. One can never tell.

I'd like to address this to the woman who went to one of Trump's rallies dressed as a Moslem with her head covered with a scarf and having a sign that reads, 'I come in peace'. I don't know why she was asked to be escorted out, but by her own words the people in the crowd were throwing questions at her as to whether she had a bomb under her cloak. Well, whether she knew it or not, she provoked the crowd by wearing the mark of a Moslem - her cloak. Also, by going to the rally dressed the way she was, she knew before hand that she'd be treated that way. On her part, I see that as provocation. Had she gone plainly dressed or attired like everybody else, there would have been no adverse reaction toward her. I don't know what she could have said why she was asked to be escorted out, but she fully knows that the whole of America had been given the real and true picture of Islam - one of terror, murder, beheading, bombs, war, and blood. How do Moslems expect the most compassionate, kind, benevolent people in the world to act? So, please, use your common sense and do not see America as the enemy, the aggressor, or the provocateurs. They're not. They are just being vigilant knowing that the enemy could be so sly, cunning and untrustworthy. Islamic people,we welcomed you to our country. Don't think that we are not watching you. We have given you a new start for a happy life compared to the life you have had in your native lands, but we are guarding against an invasion that your evil governments have designed for our beloved country. The truth of the matter is that you are our guests in our country, and you don't have he right to demand of us what you like, especially when you want us to change our laws just to accommodate or please you. The more attacks you perpetrate against Americans, the more we will be true to our resolve to deport you. Good Moslems, show your rage against the radicals amongst you. Question for Christians does Mary the mother of jesus was wearing hijab which is covering her self? Christians are not under the law of even their own Bible. That is because Jesus fulfilled the law when he died and rose again. The Hadith is a collection of Mohammad's sayings. so the followers of islam are supposed to follow that too. ISIS are some of the most devout Muslims in the world and follow the Quran and the Hadith to the letter. To say ISIS does not represent islam is like saying tele-evangelists are not a part of Christianity. (And I am sure some of you might actually agree with that) but the fact is it does. The personal character of them does not always represent Christianity. Jesus was perfect Mohammad was not. Jesus is sitting at the right had of God \nMohammad was the worst of sinners. \n\nMohammad is in hell because he was killed my a female and according to Mohammad in the Hadith a man murdered by a woman is going to go to hell. Any time there is a camera around Muslims start playing the victim card, I highly doubt anyone attacked that woman at 2:30, and with out an investigation or proof know one should take her testimony as fact.

As a young child I remember viewing the Amish women as being in a chronic 'state of funeral' based solely on their signature dark garb. It created in my own (childlike) logistics that this was a type of society which I needed to keep at a distance from myself. An interview with a very rich Saudi woman (living in Saudi Arabia), in how she spoke of her own frustration by not being allowed to own a drivers license, instead being driven in her husbands pricey Mercedes by a hired driver. She forced this issue on her local, home town government when she attempted to embarrass the officials of this primitive law, which in her view, had outlived its purpose and no longer applied to modern women in her culture. This interview went viral being shown on multi media networks and the town became embarrassed by the exposure. We should all applaud these women for their natural right to be free from outdated ritual and constraints continue to impose these indignities upon women. Muslim women living in Canada who wear the typical dark cloth across the features of the face and over the body are putting forth a message that they are 'second class citizens', are 'less than equal', are 'one mans property' - not unlike a common barn yard animal but possibly owning less importance than an animal since an animal can be traded for goods or services for profit. One can understand how real (natural) Canadien women can view this type of apparel as a slap in the face of their gender, a violent slap to go to the 'back of the line', 'take it lying down and like it'. So much is fear based and these Muslim women should shed their fear as layers of dark folds are sent falling to the floor - once and for all...

As a multi generational Canadian, I don't really care whether they cover their face or not. That's their choice. During my life I've seen all these different forms of conservative dress from catholic nuns, to Hutterites to Mennonites and these people are just part of the mix. What this is designed to do is to create a barrier between themselves and the larger society which is fine. I would never interact with one of these woman ever because the thin flimsy barrier makes it clear that she is not interested in talking to anyone for any reason and again this is fine. If she was with a man I would talk only with the man and completely ignore her and if she was with a male child I would talk to the male child, not to her. I don't normally chat with women who are strangers other than now and then in a supermarket line or whatever. This face thingy frees me from the need of chitchat small talk and I'm good with that. In any case we would have absolutely nothing in common.

I just don't understand how can you love someone who hides her face behind a mask or niqab or whatever fuck they call it. I saw one a few days ago here in Chicago and believe it or not my 5 year old niece was scared of seeing her in the grocery store. I had to tell her that she is some sort of ninja woman!!

As a Muslim living in Canada, I don't see the harm in a woman wanting to cover herself, I wear the head scarf myself, but in my opinions I don't feel the need to cover myself to prove I am more modest or a better Muslim.  I believe everyone has free will and has the right in this Country to dress the way that the law has allowed them to.  No one has the right to tell someone how to dress, not even the Prime Minister himself.  Telling a woman what she can and cannot wear is oppression.  I truly believe that if Muslims want to live in Western civilization, then they should refrain from covering their faces because the face is our identity and People have the right to know who you are and what your face looks like.  You cannot vote with a covered face, you cannot cover your face in a passport photo, you cannot cover your face for your driver's licence etc... I am a Muslim woman and I say this.  It truly is a shame how the media is portraying Islam and the Muslim people as a whole, and it truly is a shame that Canadians have become so ignorant.  I see more ignorance and racism in Canada than I do in America and 9/11 took place in America.  If you want to know about Islam, learn about Islam from a Muslim, a Library, google Islam, or offer to spend a few days with a Muslim family for research to get a better understanding of Islam and Muslims.  As a Muslim myself I can understand the hatred and the ignorance because we act according to how we were taught and raised, and yes we have many extremists claiming to follow the Islamic faith.  These extremists are not only hurting Western civilization, but they are also hurting the peaceful moderate Muslims that value their rights and freedoms as Canadians.  I do not appreciate ISIS hijacking my religion, I do not appreciate Hamas or Hezballah hijacking my Religion because I am a very accepting person and a very open minded Muslim and to be defined by media as a problem or a terrorist is very hurtful and a shame.
