As a proud US citizen who loves her country, I am disgusted over so many actions of Trump/Vance/Musk that display a lack of care for the American people and a disdain and arrogance for other nations such as ?? Canada. Trudeau you speak with character, clarity, class and thoughtfulness - ?. If only our own leadership had an ounce of any of those characteristics of true leadership such as Canada has displayed…

Gotta disagree w/ Mr. Trudeau on one point, when he says Trump is 'very smart'--NO. Otherwise, Trudeau's speech was spot-on, and I love and respect Canada even more now. Most of us Americans cannot be proud of our country; we are held captive by a wannabe dictator and his stooges who are self-serving, vindictive, and UNpatriotic! To gather some semblance of sanity, I am taking the family on a Canadian Rockies tour in late spring--am tempted to not return home again.

I am A Vietnam Veteran , Jan-Dec 1967 , and am A True Blue American Patriot who loves America with Every Ounce Of My Being !!!!! That being said , what Donald Trump and his Traitorous Conspirators are doing to Our Neighbors , Both Canada and Mexico , is A Travesty Beyond anything An American President has EVER DONE in Our History !!!! My belief is that Trump is A Russian Asset who is doing everything he can to Tear Apart Our American Democracy , to give Vladimir Putin An Open Door to America !!!! Trump is A TRAITOR TO AMERICA , MAKE NO MISTAKE !!!! Prepare yourselves for America`s 2nd Civil War !!! IT IS COMING !!!!! You can laugh all you want , but you won`t be laughing when you begin to hear Gunshots ringing out in Your Neighborhood !!! The ONLY THING that will convince Trump he made A HUGE MISTAKE is Americans armed to The Teeth standing outside of The White House , ready to rip him out of it by force !!!! He has Underestimated Americans Resolve !!!! REAL AMERICANS `` WILL NOT STAND BY `` while he systematically Shreds our Democracy , and Names Himself THE KING OF AMERICA !!!! Let this sink in... in the past few weeks! What is it going to be like in a few months or by the end of this term? With the way it's going, we're going to be damned lucky that we're going to be here at all, otherwise Trump and Putin can rule over a nuclear decimated scorched earth. Americans that are already sick, tired and completely fed up with all of the grandiose shit-storm actions coming out of the White House, please do what you absolutely can to shout from the rooftops, we will not concede, we will not bow down and kiss the ring, we will not be bullied and we will not stand idly by and watch a narcissistic, misogynistic, blow-hard dictator-loving(Putin), felonious bully and all his butt-munching fuck-tard cronies burn this country to the ground. As a 60 years old french Canadian I have all the reason to not love Trudeau, because he remind me how his father treated us, never vote for him, but today I saw a men (finally) standing up and take the lead for our country. This is how a leader should speak. He speaks with sincerity and with clarity. He doesnt speak broadly just to an entire audience. He speaks to each group of people that this is concerning to, and making sure we understand the magnitude of this situation. He adjusts how he speak to each group, and also to our sad president. Thats the vibe of the message he was giving me. Many different types of languages and emotions are spoken at the same time.\n\nI love our country, but I do not agree with how our currents presidents policies, changes, and tear down of our government/agencies in just 2 months. I cant imagine the months to come. People are already struggling, and are divided so much more that Americans are not siding with each other, but siding with Canada and Mexico who have been so patient and understanding with us. We need to stand up against our president to stop this isolation and division. We are already divided in our country. I can't stand to see we are starting to be divided globally.
