Canada should permanently end all trade with America. To start with, end all energy exports to the Eastern Seaboard and bring the entire Eastern Seaboard to an immediate and compete standstill. American shipping and port traffic, all railroad traffic, all airline traffic relies on importing Canadian energy so cut off the supply and brine the entire Eastern Seaboard to an immediate halt.

Go back and listen to Trump on tariffs. If a country is fair with America, America will be fair with them. Americans do not realize how many tariffs we pay as a country. There are also countries that do not allow us to sell in their countries although they sell to America.\n\nFor years Canada has allowed a steady flow of illegals and drugs into our country. Yes this move does look like it could be connected to Putin. If Canada financially struggle then they can't help if needed with the war in Ukraine which is a plus for Putin. I think finally Canada realized that if they have friend like US then they don't need any enemy. You can't trust US at all and need to start open your market for global trade. I am glad that finally this happened cause sometimes you need a slap on face to wake up from a cozy bogus dream.
