Would Canada consider allowing the USA to apply to become a Canadian Province?

Nothing Trump does makes sense until you accept the reality that Trump serves only at the pleasure of Vladimir Putin. Nothing about trade wars and tariffs makes sense. i hope you can stand the eventuality and significant economic and interpersonal effect this will promote. i agree principally with none of this, its unnecessary and extremist in leaning. but i can stand it and saw this ahead of time as eventual. my question is can you stand these economic effects . did they ask you on the campaign trail? well . i also suspect as an independent that we will be both affected and tested. Consider those in power in government and big business who see to these situations becoming realities for American citizens , remember they live in mansions and have generational wealth. they can lose billions and withstand it. Trump is talking out of his ass. We are responsible for less than 1% of fentanyl. We pay more money to states than states pays to us. We helped with 911, their wars and their California fires. We invested Canadian money, & time & lost Canadian lives. When is USA paying us back ???? . \n\nTrump has sold USA to Russia. As an American, I am in despair over the criminal actions of the Trump and his cronies. I wish Canada the very best in the future. I will always consider Canada and Canadians my friends. Bravo to you, Prime Minister Trudeau.

This is only the beginning. The pressure for Canada to accept becoming an US state will get to levels you guys don't even imagine now. He will go as far as invading you and take you by force. He wamts your huge territory and resources. Unless the congress impeaches him, you will be taken by force. It's time to consider to become the 51 state of US

Canada should consider teaming up with EU. From a cultural and mentality perspective, we are close anyway.

So many good reasons why Canada’s 10 Provinces, with a mostly conservative thinking population of thinkers, should be transformed into 10 new United States States, not just one United States. Yes....10 more States that is the helpful way forward for the United States to have a very dominant conservative thinking population of United States Congress Political Leaders, resulting in a long term more stable United States Congress representing 60 United States, thinking more conservative, thinking more logical, thinking more common sense thoughts, thinking more capitalist job creation thoughts, thinking more tax cut thoughts, are just some of the benefits of having 60 United States of America States on  display, and functioning efficiently going forward for all the World’s Countries to marvel at.

I’m part of that brain drain from Canada to the U.S. Having dual citizenship made that easy, and while I miss so many things about Vancouver, I was being totally squeezed between expensive housing and very poor income outlook. There were director level positions that were offering less than my mid level role; not a good look. Down south, I was able to jump income (not considering the exchange rate) 200% in two years, and I have far better career prospects. \n\nIt’s not great. I will always be a Canadian at heart.

As an Australian who was born, raised, and has returned to VicDanistan... It's been a humiliating few years.\n\nBut when that same man's story has the added context of the fact that I happen to be here as a result of the path my (late) father took, coming here from Thunder Bay Ontario... The region our family had been in since the 17th century... and ironically live in Canadian, Victoria (so named due to the unknown Canadian killed in the Eureka Stockade).\n\nWhen I consider all that, it often feels as though the simulation is just trying to make jokes. \n\nBut I can assure you, it's not a life story that's easy to get behind, or laugh at. Kudus to you for trying to report as factual as possible. Im also an immigrant (45 years ago). I have long since been assimilated and consider myself as Canadian as anyone. I don't defend or condone your arguments as many of them are spot on but what i do have to say is we as humans are grossly flawed and i don't see improvement only decline. However there is still good left in this world. I believe we should treat each other with respect and judge on an individual basis as opposed to stereotyping. I still deal with stereotyping every day of my life. The real issue is not race it is cultural or rather the unwillingness to assimilate.
