Imagine you have your family, including small kids and older parents in your home and had one extra room for rent, you put ads out in the paper and interview some people for the spot, but while you are doing that, someone walked in your door and put all their things in your the room and then expected you to totally be cool with it. Anyone in their right mind, would be frustrated, even if that person was really nice and and said they'd pay rent. Any sane person would say, leave, go through the interviews, background checks, and then we'll see if it works out. It's not that you don't want to help them, but you have an order and a procedure that is in place for many reasons. \n\nImmigration is the same. It's not that the administration is anti-immigrant. We welcome ANYONE to come, you just need to come through the approved channels.

As an Pakistani American, Indians in the US do very well. The ones coming to the US are professionals mostly. The Indian community does not always mingle though. But in reality waiting 250 days for an interview is ridiculous. I sure hope this does not have something to d with incoming administration and racist dog whistles.

Visa rejection rate has always been high, the interview process is highly arbitrary. There is no logic to the rejection, it's dependent on on perception of the person interviewing and therefore can be highly biased. It's not right to assume and generalize that Indians are a nation of people where most have bad behaviour - this thought process is itself wrong. As an individual do any of us think that we travel just to indulge in reckless behavior? That is never a first thought - let's not generalize and have a better opinion of fellow citizens. We will be respected by outsiders if we first have respect and a positive opinion as regards each other.

But these interviewed Indians seem to be very nice and well educated. It may be good for Canada. Better than from Africa.

I mean as someone who has worked on the other side of things (as in deporting) the comprehension level of Indians at the immigration counter is appalling they would be asked one thing and all they would answer is but I have hotel bookings and return flight tickets… and this is not a language barrier as I interpret the interviews live…. Facts, Indian F1 students are submit fake documents like security deposits in bank (scam), the reason of study (fake), job experience after education (fake), interview process (fake) during CPT, OPT even on H1. I took nearly 40 interviews in 2024 out of which 28 are with Indian background, 24-25 of them are trying to cheat the process in different ways. 2-3 are genuine but they lack skill. Forget VISA rejection and monetary loss. In my case, great economic power USA just gulped the application fees paid for whole family intending to attend cousin's marriage in USA . All done under covid pretext. No issue there but they stonewall in best way any enquiry for interview date. Now they say apply again and pay fees again. 55k INR helped USA economy that is my contribution to most powerful and resourceful economic beggar inthe world.

It's more profitable for foreign countries to reject visa because people will try again, that just means easy money. If not then they at lest pay for the functioning of the Visa offices in India. So they don't have to pay fees to the visa interviewers, etc. It could also mean that rejecting visas is an incentive to the interviewers, hence they will make strict check before approving any visa because behind every approval they are losing money.

Many people think that because they think that they are cleaver enough to circumvent visa interviews, falsify documents required to impress foreign embassy staff, get visa on false pretenses because they have money, connections in domestic government or someone overseas to curry favor them, then no wonder your visa application would be rejected and fees forfeited or you would be turned down entry to your dream country on arrival and deported back to your home country. People even dare to charter a flight to Maxico with a plan to cross the border and into USA, like a flash mob, without a visa. Well you don’t have entitlement for that, just like you don’t like Bangladeshi, Pakistani and Rohingya crossing your borders by any means.\nHow many Indian agents have befooled fellow Indians who want to go and work in UAE, Behrin, Muscat, Qatar, Oman, Jordan and Saudi Arabia but landed on one of the beaches of India or have their Passport taken away to make them work like a slave in servitude by their fellow Indian contractors? I've been to several embassies Western and other European Non Western embassies in India over the past 25 years and most of them don't allow Indian visa applicants inside the Embassy/Consulate. Some allow Indian visa applicants only at the entrance or only inside the gate not beyond. Others allow Indian visa applicants only at the gate and you hand your application and passport to the security. It depends on what kind of visa of course. If it's for tourism or a short term visa then you're not allowed inside. If it's long term then some embassies interview you so those embassies allow. But the embassies of those very countries in countries other than India are much more open and you can actually go inside the embassy and speak to consular officers etc. In India in most Western embassies and even some Non Western embassies you cannot do that unless you're applying for long term visa or immigration etc.

I really hope these rejection news is real and support H1-b freeze, we indian Americans unable to find job in IT due to over saturation. Mainly due to telugu people by the support of agency create fake resume, fake experience and even agency help them with attending phone interview. Thus legit Citizens unable to find work

Saw a doc on british customs ppl catching ppl - 1 indian guy claimed to b a student at a english college was his bad luck dat da lady interviewing him knew a bit of basic i.t - dis kid lied abt da college he did enroll buy failed & dropped out , he fidnt know squat of 1st yr basic i.t , his english level was putrid , da u.k customs also caught illegal chinese working in chinese restaurants living like squatters. Wrt indians - fake degrees can be bought its a huge multi billion dollar scam from within india to a web outside from middle East to far East. These ppl enter under false pretences hsve no real value & end up frying chiken tikka , making bombay crush & rotis on da street side ! These r leeches that give those with genuine qualifications a bad rep. Bec we all get painted wid da same brush ! Facts r facts it mite b hard to swallow & o ly hits da news wen ppl r caught ! I know a Indian friend who when he was a student due to climate issue got in a delayed flight in UAE, he hates politics but he follows a philosophy that's eye for an eye, and that is if everyone can be a thief nobody will be a thief, if you steel from me, I've the right to do the same, he was denied a 1 day visa by the UAE government and had to stay in the airport for 15 hours, he was angry, while others in the flight was given a 1 day visa, so say 15 years later, he is running his own business abroad, got a chance in open interview to interview students, saw one was a UAE citizen, he never took the interview for him, his philosophy, after 15 hours of waiting, he will take that student's interview, he took other's interview, after time was over he left the office and later the student left, his attitude is he as the right to do the same.

My Sad Feelings to the German Peoples and No merciful for the corrupted Government of Germany. I've written similar comments elsewhere that were automatically deleted by the person who posted the video, and I found that disheartening. I first want to address the rumour about human feces and dirty diapers being found on Canadian beaches, and I want to stand up for the people who called out Indians for doing this. Somebody saw something. Maybe they weren't able to produce any legal proof of it, but they clearly saw something, and there is nothing racist about them calling out this behaviour. This practice is not only unhygienic. It is ILLEGAL in Canada; so, it absolutely should be called out publicly to prevent it from ever happening again. I have seen many videos about the culture of mass open defection in India. The videos I saw were posted by Indians themselves. One of those videos was a TEDx talk done by a woman named Sangita Vyas who discussed the truth about open defecation and that it is not limited to only the poor population. Even people who can afford to build latrines are not using them, and she explains why after interviewing Indians to ask why. I've watched Indian doctors talk online about how many Indian children die from something as simple as diarrhea every year as a direct result of the water contamination caused by open defecation. So, clearly, open defecation is legal in India, and perhaps some of these people think if it's legal at home then it must also be legal elsewhere. WRONG. It's illegal in Canada. It's unhygienic. It should never happen. Period. And there is NOTHING racist about a Canadian saying this out loud and reminding people that they must follow the rules and laws of the country they are in.

Where is the rest of her initial interview? It’s clipped at one sentence which is obviously either the wrap up of her story or the beginning. \n\nI don’t care for the reporting done here it’s sketchy very one sided. We don’t know if it’s owed or why it’s not paid - and what’s with the death of her sister? Is she waiting for an estate to clear to pay her costs?
