How is it so easy for immigrants to move from country to country, while Canadians have to jump through a million hoops if we want to move to another country??????????????????

Canada is not somewhere I'd immigrate to unless I was desperate. It has become a place of greed. As a native born Canadian, I want to move to another country.

Europe is a scam first you come and you need to learn the language which already you started in your country then working and working and your salary can just pay your bills and if you are lucky you have some money to go for a cheap vacation ... after that if you want to move to another country in Europe it is the same like to move to the US ... the schengen area is good only for citizens of Europe that is all any reisdent is not allowed to work anywhere else iit is like a prison to use you and then throw you back to your home country when your visa is canceled .... they have many rules many laws many bureaucracy it is a nightmare i hope i move out to canada very soon and i will never comeback to Europe even for a holiday !

I'm from Asia and recently moved to Canada with my family to live a slower-paced and safer life. I've seen firsthand that the drug problem here is worse than it was back home, and they're being coddled with no plans to discipline or rehabilitate them. I asked my friends how I could defend myself and my family if a random drug addict broke into our house and stole our belongings; could I at least beat that person up until the police arrived? They said you couldn't because you'd be charged with assault. It's funny. \n\nApart from the crimes and exorbitant living costs despite living in a rural area, even Canadians who have lived in the country since birth are struggling to make ends meet. \n\nSome positive comments, Canada provided me with a work-life balance that was not possible in Asia due to the competitive nature of the corporate world. So I had time to spend with my family, and you don't have to travel abroad to see beautiful scenery. Canadians are also very accommodating and friendly, in contrast to where I came from, where people will not help unless it benefits them as well. The Canadians here are extremely friendly. So Canada is great because of its people, but I can tell you that the government consistently makes bad decisions about how to solve certain problems, such as drugs and harm reduction strategies. Another issue is that they do not recognize internationally trained professionals, which could have helped alleviate healthcare issues in our area, where we have many internationally trained nurses from the Philippines working as restaurant servers and janitors. We have doctors from Kenya who have to work as general laborers and in other odd jobs where they can use their profession and experience to help people. I am also an immigrant, but the government should strategically distribute us based on our qualifications. I chose a rural area because I don't want to add to the number of immigrants in big cities and instead want to contribute to the local economy by bringing my skills and experience to the pool. \n\nCanada is a wonderful country, and I continue to believe so, but the government must reward and do more for its people who are trying their best to make this country great.

I think if you are moving to another country it means your country is not giving you enough ,Why are you complaining ? .Make your mind clear for the change ..You are living in multiple cultural country so don't consider it to be like your own country .. Accept the change else you will never be happy,

the cost of living is stunningly high; it freaks you out in these10 years. Also the job opportunities are just not that great when compare to other countries. Furthermore, for those who don't have high enough education to allow to move to another country and take those job opportunities in which you just have to suck it. Tax is high in Canada is also another factor.

We left where we were from cuz we didn’t want certain values imposed onto us ,onto our identity, our freedom as a human being was under threat then only to move here and mobbed by another group of tricksters . Left for financial stability that is nowhere to be found in this country now . I am not just saying immigrants we all facing these problems I know that but it’s just if one has a way out or can afford a way out they are taking that route . People I know personally about 10-20% of them have either left or are planning to leave in next couple years .

I know a lot from working all over canada and they come for the free money and health care and school, as soon at they are legal canadians every single one I know/knew left because they don't want to pay the high tax and cost of living, 1 guy I was friends with for a year showed me what he got to come here and it was = to 10 years pay for me at that time. Then he sold the house and cars and left after his temp visa expired, I know of people in AB and on the east coast working here and living 5 and 6 guys in a 3 bedroom and they send every cent back to their own country so they can buy land and housing, For them it's a great get rich quick plan, The one guy I knew for a year offered to pay to have my car fixed and I said no but he insisted it was free on his free tax payer supplied credit cards, If I was not from here and they offered me all this money and stuff Id be here doing the same thing, 5 years here makes you rich when you go home. 2 bedroom condo in Mexico is $85g so if I offered you a good job that will get you a house paid off and lifetime of saving in just 5 years but you have to live in another country would you do it. 100% I would Im looking at my adult kids who will never own a home if they stay here vs the people coming over for 5 years then their set, All my kids are planning to move to a new country for this very reason they are saving and then getting out when the depression hits.

Despite the inflations, I can't ever see myself leaving Canada. I've lived on Vancouver Island my whole life. I don't know how I would possibly adjust in a whole new country full of people I don't know! It's hard enough moving to another city. ??‍?

For years the government in Canada has forced people of Canada to pay the highest taxes and helped the richest 10-15 families buy all businesses across Canada protecting them from free market competition. Nothing has changed in the last 50 years and nothing will change in the next 50 years. Best to accept the reality or move to another country.

Their silence on certain matters may not necessarily reflect the experiences of all immigrants but rather their focus on taking even more advantage on already poor ill minded fools.

Nice candid video Tyler. I have a good friend (a Jusey Gurl) who moved to Canada like 20ish years ago I think mainly because of an ex. I think she appreciates the health care as well with my talks with her over the years. She and I've been thinking this lately that Canadians have either changed or that Canadians are more friendly stereotype is going down .I think with more immigration, the cost of living and frozen pay and higher and higher taxes Canadians are increasing discouraged with politics and Canada in general. You noticed many of the woman mentioning health care and social programs as well? Police... We have a lot here as well maybe more so because of pay. The police are well looked after and paid well here. I think politics are getting more polar and more divisive here as well. The liberals have really really done a stellar job with two terms of sheer WEF CCP hogwash to destroy the country. Another general stereotype is that Americans are obnoxious and unpleasant isn't true as well. I'm in tourism and find most of the Yanks to be friendly and polite and GREAT TIPPERS. Ha many US servers don't like it when Canucks go over there because they're stingy. I think if everything works out without saying more, your country, like it or not , will ultimately start the big liberation finally of humanity hopefully for the better. You folks generally have a bigger love of freedom and you're ARMED. You have the mindset and the LEVERAGE to change the system. And we as Canadians are always looking and following the US why to the extent because things are a little different here I don't know... I married my spouse and moved to the United States from Canada. Before, I didn't give the US much thought and merely loved travelling to a few of the locations. Having said that, even after spending five years there, I have never witnessed a country and a population as divided as the US. You proudly display your flag, yet you're so racist, illiterate, and a bible-thumper that it disgusts me. The United States is not the most free country in the world, despite what the public believes and thinks. In reality, it is also depressing to observe how the healthcare system handles people. The social safety net is completely missing, and by that I mean that most jobs don't pay for maternity leaves or vacations unless you work at a senior level or for a high-end company. The political system is so rigged that it is understandable why people are tired of voting every two years, and perhaps even every year. Most certainly, especially since your elections begin almost exactly when the previous one finished. I suppose I could go on forever, but I'll stop here. Although Canada is not perfect, is not free from controversy or problems, and is not the best at everything, we are able to concede defeat, acknowledge that someone was wrong or that we might have done better, work together with one another, and express that we are SORRY. Yes, it is a word that is never used in the US, and that is also the issue. I'm pleased to be back in Canada, where I belong, and I regret ever leaving. Yes, returning to Canada feels peaceful and inviting compared to travelling to the US, where every trip involves an interrogation to ensure that you don't remain too long. There is no need to worry because I won't be returning to stay, only visit, as previously.

Moving to another country is a huge life decision and only rarely possible. Americans are generally strongly conditioned to think of the US as the best country ever and it is rare that they can look at another way of life and think of it as good or better.

I lived in the US for 4 years. I was 12 when I moved with my parents. I had a teacher who expelled me from school on my first day. I refused to do a pledge to their flag. The teacher went nuts. I said I was not pledging anything yo a flag of another country. The teacher then tried to tell me that I was lying and that Canada was a state, not a country, so I had been pledging my whole life. This was a teacher, and I did not know Canada was not part of the US. He called me a traitor and that I should be charged, then had me expelled. When I came back to Canada, I had to take an extra year of school because my grade 11 from the US was so far behind. The US school system was bizarre. The had clubs where people dressed like the military and marched around. They were taught to fire guns, and it was all part of school. They spend more time learning about their history and never learn about so much of it. It was like an oxymoron. The teacher did not know about the War of 1812, did not know that Washington was still trying to stay with in the British Crown even months before the end of their insurrection, and that Canada was a major contributor to the US moon race. It was a very confusing tome for me. Thing I had learned in elementary school, where just being taught in middle school, and other things were so far a head I did not follow like things about their Presidents. They could not spell, yet I got makered wrong for it and I found the teacher were either very nice or true demons, and they knew nothing but their own subject. I also felt like I was treated not as a student but as a criminal who had just not commented on a crime yet. Very strange.

If you move out of Canada and become another country's resident, you lose your Canadian healthcare and would have to pay a fee when visiting a doctor or hospital.

Before you pay that agency money. Ask them who is your hire. Make sure you talk to your hire. Who will receive you in canada. Toronto is a beautiful city but if you don't make a lot of money you can either live in studio apartments and hardly buy food to eat or end up homeless. Toronto is much more expensive than most american cities, it might be as expensive as New York City or a bit more. Canada is a truly gorgeous country but it is too expensive. The US is getting so expensive even in Texas,you feel like moving to another country too,in my case my country Panama. Makes you think when will the inflation stop and be controlled in Canada and in the US. We don't want all poor and middle class people to have no money and be left with nothing and end up homeless. Right now it is not a good idea to move to the U.S. or to Canada, just to visit for some months but living in those countries is crippling people's lives.?

Those that think and keep saying that Toronto is a 'World Class city' need to give their head a shake...it's a shit hole. Crime is through the roof and pushing outwards towards other areas of the GTA; the defacing of buildings and other structures is saddening, just can't wait for the Docklands project to turn into just another shit hole .The police don't care, cyclists and drivers have turned this place into a hell hole to get around, traffic is at a standstill. I came here in 88, I moved to the outer GTA and even that is experiencing guns and gangs and increasing crime. Canada is so expensive, even travelling across country is more expensive than travelling out of the country. As much as I am grateful to this country it is no better now than a 3rd world country, in fact some 3rd world countries have better standards....I'm outta here.

I moved to Toronto in 2021. I've wanted to live in the city and have finally bought my condo in the city of Toronto. I love the city, especially during the summer time. Toronto Summer is so much fun and a great place to be in Canada. I am sick of all the Toronto bashing the past couple months. Yes, there are a lot of problems and yes they're all really bad and need to get resolved. And in all honesty, Toronto is probably one of the better big cities to live in in Canada. Despite all the negativity, TTC violence hasn't really gone up on paper. A lot of aspects about Canada are still strong even among western countries. I've been to Vancouver and Montreal. And those are cities have a lot of problems and a lot of different problems than Toronto.\n\nThe reasons that she specified in her video are all valid and they all make sense. I just want to say that I'm sick of all the Canada bashing and all the Toronto bashing. Toronto is a great place. I'm going to be still living in this city as some years it's going to be down and it's going to come right back up again in another few years.

I would advise before anyone relocate to another country should consult God first cz He knows better. May be God's plan is to bless you in your home country. Some people relocate with generational curses of poverty and limitations operating in their lives, moving to another country doesn't change your spiritual nature, seek God for guidance. There are just not that many options of places to live in the US that are good, especially if you don't want to be isolated. As an American I thought about moving to rural New Hampshire.. which doesn't have city problems, but still, kind of cold and isolating and they might have meth problems. I decided on Miami as a home-base, its expensive, but there aren't many other good options out there.. Living in another country is psychological hard after awhile and dealing with visa issues.. I thought about moving to somewhere like Budapest which is very nice, but if you aren't part of the culture or know the language, its hard.. Its better sometimes just to settle down somewhere, I can't get anything done as a nomad, constantly worried about where I am going to next, living in other people's apartment isn't always comfortable..

If you are in Canada...move to a smaller city....or move to another country ❤ ❤ Btw i agree about everything you say!!+ BIGGEST ISSUE is sense of real community and connection and meaningful friendship. So far BEST CITY i have found unbelievably...is WINNIPEG. WHY? Houses and car inauranmore affordable and the people are genuinely lovely and kind. They get out together and talk to their neighbors. (Unless in brand new area with all newcomers). Only advice is stay away from north west...that is a nasty area. Rest of city is great. Downtown not best to live in. Work in is fine. Winnipeg was best city.

The thing about the job health insurance that a lot of Americans don't really think of as a business case: If a person has their insurance tied to their job, they will almost never be able to move to another one if they develop a life-threatening condition. Even with diminished bars of entry due to pre-existing conditions, your health insurance can be denied if you transition to another company. If you are denied, your best healthcare options are then tied to your income, and that means you basically have to be unemployed and living on social entitlements. \n\nThe thing is, this locks you into your position, and you are literally at the mercy of the company which means you're only going to be doing the minimum amount of work necessary to not get fired. If you have a socialized/universal single-payer healthcare plan, your job is no longer a limiting factor, you can switch employers basically at-will. The boon for businesses is that people will be more able to move rather than have to get you to do a dance with your insurance company. \n\nThe other thing for me is that having been in the US, I felt less safe in blue states than I did in Canada, and I felt worse in red states. The USA is a beautiful country, but it's a STRANGE society. One thing I can say is the USA tends to get bright fast once they catch on to how big a problem actually is, so here's to hoping that happens soon because brother, you have a mess of problems on your plate. \n\nThis isn't the only thing, but FWIW, I have had multiple opportunities to move to the US for work, and I work in a field where I can command a very good salary, but I choose to not live there. I'd move to Belize, or a Nordic EU country instead.

1. While McDonald's was originally created in the US there is a 2nd version and its 100% Canadian. After the u.s. McDonald's began franchising one of the brothers became so disgusted with the lack of regulation in the US on what is considered 'food' he moved to Canada and relaunched the chain. While the restaurant named remains the same and a handful of the main burgers the two companies are completely separate and have nothing to do with one another.\n\n2. Gov work, nurses, doctors, teachers, etc have a regulated minimum wage of 7.25 are you ....... kidding me??? 3. The US has no paid maternity leave u have the baby take 2 weeks off unpaid and back work 4. Server's make 2.13 + tips an hour ...... 5. The federal and state government recommend homes in the city have sewage plumbing BUT it is not required. There are literally houses in the southern states with the toilets flushing right into the front or backyard. 6. Perfectly fine to pay a man more than a woman in the US because a woman isnt a man. 7. And if a woman literally becomes a man by changing 'her' name + physically in appearance via surgery/hormones/whatever she still won't get paid the same as a man because she still not viewed as a man: no gender rights. 8. Where's the healthcare when the US has the highest taxes in the world??? 9. Classist. 10. No regulated education. Literally there is no rules on teaching the students these days are learning absolutely nothing. There's no such thing as regulating education in the US anymore 11. The country is over 33 trillion dollars in debt..... Never Ever. I'm aghast at how surprised you are about the people worried about shooting. You keep saying just be strategic where you live. The way things are going with the shootings and how many a day. It will happen in your area to people you know. I'm so shocked how desensitized you are. Wow!! I was born and raised in Canada and have traveled to other countries and i am considering to move to another country mainly because of the present Trudeau Liberal mismanaged government. By the way the lady in white is very pretty.

I had opportunities in the past to move to the US but I did not go for them, I think sometimes due to simple inertia. If I had another chance now, I would definitely turn it down. The country south of here is facing dark times. Political polarization started decades ago already with the Tea Party, but now it reached a point when there are forces that have shaken the very trust in the most fundamental aspects of America, the ideas and institutions it was built on and which are still strong and valid. For centuries America was the beacon for freedom and equal rights. Now a large portion of the population is being made believe that the country became deeply corrupt and only a strong man can make things right. As long as people keep their heads in the sand , don't look around and allow things to develop in this dangerous direction (on top of the gun culture, health care, etc), the future of the US looks pretty bleak.

Money is the only reason to cross to the US, and frankly, you couldn't pay me enough. I would make somewhere between 3 and 4 times the pay if I moved my career to a US city. Not worth it. \n\n- It's a country where the number one cause of death for kids under 19 is mass shootings.\n- There is political and racial violence and threat of violence rampant everywhere\n- the USA has 60 times the number of active serial killers at any given time as the rest of the world COMBINED\n- Educational standards are abysmal in many states, particularly the red ones.\n- Hand in hand with that is a general air of ignorance that is impossible to ignore or live with\n- At least one third of the population is afflicted with a strong case of Dunning-Kruger effect, and elects only those most strongly afflicted...\n- People are still fighting for basic rights and still being vehemently opposed.\n- 35 million Americans have zero medical insurance, and another 80 million are under-insured, versus zero Canadians.\n- way more people possess guns than are mentally equipped to handle one.

I am from Québec and my choice to move to another country would be Sweden, Finland or Norway there more like us. The last time i have travelling in the USA is almost 20 years now and not sure to go back in your country soon. So a big NO for me but i like your vidéo you are welcome in my country.

I am scandinavian and I would NEVER move to the US, Canada though is one of my favourites if I were to move somewhere else. I agree with the Canadians on reddit on every point. My tip would be - visit Canada and experience yourself why this is the case. You can always make a new home for yourself in Canada, and have an even better life there. With all that you now have learnt about Canada, you're halfway there. Just visit, and see the US/Canada from another point of view. north of the border. I have a work visa for the US and go there often. I go to many places that are not in the cities. I'm actually in South Dakota as I write this and find it to be a very pleasant place. I generally find everybody to be very friendly but can't help feel there are some topics that I just don't feel comfortable talking about in fear of triggering a strong response. I like visiting but would not consider moving there to raise a family. There is just a much greater chance of volitivity there. \n One time, while dinning out, I had a guy ask me, that because I didn't have a gun, what would I do if someone came to my home to rob me at gun point. I told him it never happens. But he insisted many times, but what if they did. I told him that it's not something I'd ever thought about and that I probably had a greater chance of dying on the plane ride home than being shot by an armed robber in my own home. But he kept insisting. I eventually told him I would help the robber take my stuff out of the house because that is what I have insurance for. I could not believe that this guy did not understand the concept of NO ONE (other then criminals shooting other criminals in the city) having a gun. \n I actually do have a long gun at my place in the country but that's to keep me safe from large animals that may come out of the bush. It is locked up in a gun cabinet by law. I would never think of using it against another person. I'd go to jail for sure if I did. Many of my friends hunt and have several guns but the restrictions on where and when you can use them and the strict storage requirements help ensure that they are not travelling around with a gun at hand. There are actually a few places in Canada where I've been that you do, or should, have to travel with a gun but these are remote areas of the country with large predatory animals. 99% of the population do not live in these areas.

Lived in us for 10 years and also Canada for 7. I can 100% say that life in Canada is a whole lot better then USA. Although pay is more in USA, it’s quickly eaten up by all the expenses and trust me when I say you will spend a ton. Your entire city you live in will most likely try to eat away as much of your wallet as you can. People and going outside is just better in Canada. Usa really really sucks apart from pay, especially for kids unless you live in an expensive city. People are Riddled with hate and it’s not safe for kids to play outside because something is def out to get them. Usually it’s a car or a criminal. One thing I’ve noticed is kids in USA end up doing drugs a whole lot more, because there’s not much for the kids to do. Kids can’t spend much and can’t travel far or at all, so they resort to drugs. With my hs done in highschool, a huge majority of the schools were doing one or another sort of drug. Also I’m back in Canada because life as a student is just a whole lot better then the snaky system of USA. Both suck in their own ways though, Canada a whole lot less, plan to move out to an eastern country anywya tjough.

Hi, \nafter hearing this “exposé” I understand that it is the same in any developed country. There is no point of moving from one country to another when tax paying is not thought of. Remember labour is the one that builds and develops a country. One has to strategise before relocating, unless for most immigrants that manage to do it surprisingly as from many applications they did, one just went through and it is a success to go. Then, they just move to really win that opportunity although they haven’t strategise or prepare themselves financially. I learnt that in life, we pay as we live; nothing is for free.

In these kind of comparaisons, it's always important to keep in mind that Canada has 10 provinces and 3 territories. Each province and territory have their own way of doing things. So it's pretty much like 13 countries into 1. One thing in Ontario is not gonna be the same as in BC for example. So, whatever someone experiences in Ontario will not be the same elsewhere. Like taxes for example, it's different from 1 province to another. So, it's best for someone who wants to move to Canada to do their research on each province because they do things differently from one another. \n\nAlso in terms of traveling to countries that are closer, yes the UK gets a point because all the other European countries are closer. But in Canada, when you leave a province for another one it sometimes feels like you left for another country ? . Besides the US and Mexico, Canadian also go to Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Brasil, Argentina, Turks and Caicos(lots of Canadian go there that at one point the island was even considering becoming the 11th province of Canada ?) .\n\nIn terms of diversity, it's not that much different from the UK. All the big cities are very diverse, just like the UK. Also, Toronto is the most diverse city in the world.

Firstly, CANADA is an UGLY CITY compared with MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES in EUROPE. The Coldness would get you depressed! Is EITHER you stay back in AUSTRALIA or you MOVE to EUROPE...where you can see beautiful cities and landscapes. Countries LIKE IRELAND ?? , NETHERLANDS ??, SWITZERLAND ?? ETC. and guess what, you can easily migrate from one county to another with a Train or Bus. \n\nYou are welcome

Let me just comment based on the title. I guess you gonna talk about the challenges of living in Canada?So, do you know how many Youtube video like this for every country in the world? When you want to move to another country, you have to weigh the pros and cons compared to where you live now! Otherwise there is no perfect country in the world!

Canadian here, and this video is right on the money for some of the most frustrating things about Canada! \n\nOur proudest achievement is our healthcare system, but up until recently, the government has been choking it little by little. Making it so difficult for any Doctor/Nurse to even consider finding work here (and making it impossible to afford getting a medical degree) because you are literally doing it for the love of the game at this point. \n\nEven if you become a specialist in a specific field (which pays really well compared to most careers here) it is unlikely any hospital will hire you. Our hospitals are only interested in making profits by pushing painkillers on Canadians, rather than hiring medical professionals to help fix them. If you become a family Doctor, it is a bit better, because you can open your own practice. But kiss your social life goodbye if you do! The most annoying part of this problem is some people blame all this on the fact that we have healthcare and assume a private American system would be better. Where the real problem is we need more workers and funding into our healthcare to make it better. Not making lives harder for poorer Canadians!\n\nWeirdly enough our Tax system issue didn't stand out as a problem to me until I left Canada and see how taxes are marked elsewhere! It blew my mind that I didn't have to do math when I visited another country and the way we advertise wages is purposely deceptive! In Ontario, we succeeded in getting a $14 hour minimum wage (only in Ontario and maybe one other province). Which sounded amazing until you realize that's $14 without tax... To compare, I was incredibly lucky in Toronto where I found a place for 750 a month and was earning $16 an hour. Sounded like more than enough for the cost of living, but after taxes I was pretty much putting more than half my monthly income in rent. On top of that I had to pay for student loans and other bills. \n\nBottom line, if you are wanting to move to Canada for our beautifully scenic environments, free healthcare, and a stable job? \n\nMove to Finland.

Let’s put it in easy terms say we’ve only got 4 muslims 2 men 2 women the each have 4 -6 kids (easy fir a muslim as they breed like rabbits)that’s say 12 kids in 13-16yrs time ten 12 kids each have 4-6 kids that’s another that’s 72 kids all in two generations but now put that into millions of muslims having 4-6 kids each put a ban on them having more then one child when they move here if they want more then deport them and put that to even muslims infact any migrant
