How I miss a regular, competent adult!

I have voted for Trump 3 times. Canada has over charged the USA through tariffs for years. I know you will miss the money but just suck it up like we have had to do. Pres Trump is for the American ppl and all his decisions are directed that way. For the ppl from our country that have commented on this statement and love Canada move there, right away.

As a Canadian - Trumps 'brilliance' has done one thing for sure, it's aligned all of the provinces against our neighbor and former ally the United States. It's done something we ourselves have had difficulty with - gaining support from Quebec. The overwhelming vast majority of Canadians don't trust the US anymore, as the legal justification for the tariffs is absolute bull, and is a pretext for Trumps actions. My family has cancelled all US travel, in my case 2 trips this year worth 15K to the US. I will miss Vegas for my 60th. We used to shop in WA State weekly; last year I spent 11K in WA State, and routinely took in shows in Seattle. No more. \n\nCan anyone please explain why Trump is screwing over Americans? Seriously.

The world knew this was coming and did nothing to protect their citizens and businesses from any of this. Canada has been the preferred access point for criminals and terrorist for the past 4 years. I have a place right on the border and 8 months ago I caught a young East Indian who already had several felony in the states and had been shipped back to India in previous years. How the heck did that man get a student visa to come to Canada. There are 50,000 East Indian Students missing in Canada who simply used the visa to get into Canada and run the border. This is what we’re are dealing with. I live on the border and I’ve never seen this much traffic. Border guards are simply picking their targets and having to ignore others. So I ask u how do u think I feel about my property being used as an illegal highway bcz of your government incompetence. As someone who also works in native communities throughout Canada I’ll also Trudeau words fall like shit from ass. The drugs have ravaged native communities to the tune of 3/4 of the young ppl. Grandparents are raising the grandchildren and it’s all kept hush hush by the liberal media. They’ve done nothing to stop it bcz it normally boils down to minority groups who they brought in who are making it.

I'm not sure what the President is thinking. I'm not sure why he approach these situations in this manner. Maybe I'm missing something. I like to give the benefit of doubt to everything because i know that I'm not all-knowing. With that being said, on his part, I would like some clarity. I'm feeling quite uneasy with the way he is handling things.

I miss and desire this clarity, and transparency in government leadership positions. Succint, clear, honest, and direct.

I legit miss having a competent, thoughtful and nononsense leader. We are stuck with the complete opposite. If anything, Trump is taking years off the lives of those of us who make it a priority to stay informed about our government. He needs to go away, ASAP!

Anyone with any intelligence, in the intelligence community, knows Russian asset behavior when they see it. It is quite obvious that the President of the United States is compromised and working directly for the Russians now. I believe Putin has very damning video and audio of terrible sins that Trump committed while in Russia for the 2013 Miss Universe Pageant. His so-called friends, the Alagarovs set him up, but Putin and the FSB were behind the entire operation, to be sure. There is no evil or traitorous action Trump will not take to save his own ass. I will not subscribe to CNN because so many times, the coverage is missing the mark entirely about trump damage. But today it is obvious that when chosen, the coverage can be spot on!

American here. I can't tell you how much I miss having a president that speaks like Trudeau. Instead we have a bunch of 4 year tantrum throwing toddlers. And for anyone that has been in a room full of 4 year tantrum throwers all day you know that is completely exhausting, life draining and all you want to do set them in time-out.

I hope Canada's retaliatory tariffs target products from Trump states. Also, listening to Trudeau reminds me how much I miss having an intelligent, articulate POTUS. Four years of The Orange Retard, then four years of Geriatric Genocide Joe, and now four more years of The Orange Retard. Why is it too much to ask that We Americans have an articulate, educated leader who's undiminished by senescence (bonus points for speaking French!)

It seems sad that it took an action such as the one the US government had to do, to make Canada realize that we should work together as provinces and as people. Canada knew very well that our big brother in the south has been fiscally hurting since years and had been racking up enormous government, corporate and private citizen debt. If this were to continue it would pull down every single country in the world. Perhaps if the US is becoming fiscally responsible, truly eliminate fraudulent and unnecessary spending and refocus on their local economy (just like China has been doing in the last years) the rest of the world and even Canada can finally focus on their strength and local markets. After all, don't we all miss our local stores, local artisans, vibrant neighborhoods with diverse businesses and a pride in having made in our own country? May I say that this Trump era will give the whole planet a new perspective for changing our ways, reliance on others and taking the easy and greedy road!
