I’m an American and I’m embarrassed and appalled at Trump and our government. I’m so sorry. I’m scared. I’m overwhelmed. I’m afraid of what this is going to do to all of us, but I support you Canada.

As an American, I do not want this either! I did not vote for this and I am feeling very helpless. I am a NEVER TRUMPER. Trump is a bully and a narcissist and I don’t think there is any reasoning with this man. You have to stroke his ego and I wouldn’t blame you for not playing games with our impetuous childish President. Additionally, many are stuck in the illusory effect better know as the big lie effect. So Trudeau calls Putin a liar and a murderous dictator but we all remember a few years ago, the same PM declaring is admiration for China's dictatorship. On a trip in Europe he even downgraded is own people while trying to suck up to the Germans. A few years ago Trudeau said that Canadians didn't really have an identity and announced that he wished to make Canada the first post national country in history. I'm sorry guys, I do not like the tariffs but I just cannot stand this guy!

I live in Nashville, TN USA. I am so sorry Canada is suffering due to Trump. I do not support this move on Trump's part. I never voted for him. I have known for many years he is a dangerous narcissist. Canada is our friend. You have come to our aide in times of trouble. Our forest fires, 911 when the planes hit our twin towers. Trump wants a 4.5 Trillion dollar tax cuts for the wealthy. He sees tariffs as a way to make up some of that money alone with huge budget cuts to many of our programs. Trump is an unreasonable person who only thinks about himself. I hope he will eventually be impeached. I do not blame Canada. I blame Donald Trump and the the Republican Congress. This is a coupe going down in our country and it is sad to watch. Take good care.

Greetings from California! I stand with all of our friends in Canada, Mexico and China! I did not vote for this catastrophe but am definitely feeling the pain of these horrendous tariffs. My heart is with our friends up North and I hope you understand that many of us here in the US did not want this. We are plagued with a complete nut case for a President who was given the ultimate power of house and Senate majority plus the Supreme Court so there is no fix for the nightmare in the near future. All I can say is I am sorry for what we all have to endure now.
