It's about time people started pointing out the hatred of the religion of peace.

For balance, i do not think that multiculturalism has been a good thing for my country. It has changed beyond all recognition over my life time.But it not right to abuse people because of there race or religion.

These comment section filled with Anti-Indian Hate. \nCanadian Immigration system is a Point Based System which means who ever have higher points will be awarded the Green Card or Work Permit. \nIndians are super competitive when it comes to immigration ? with their Levels of English, Education, Social support from society, French skills and Employment in High skills and young pool of people. Indians beat everyone. Meanwhile, Chinese ?? Language is WRITTEN all over on Vancouver Airport with Canadian ?? Tax money ? and Vancouver being Chinese island now. No one talks about. Indians assimilate in western society, without forcing their religion on to others, like many fake refugees from Muslim world.\nIndians commit most least crimes unlike many Blavk people.\nIndians don’t need government assistance like Natives and Indians pay taxes in highest numbers.\nIndians directly compete with White Canadians and that is the reason there is so much hate for them as others feel inferior and dominate power feel their dominance is in question. ?

The problem occurs when immigrants destroy your culture and religion. I believe you people have no problems with especially from Hindu community. For Sikhs and muslims... I can't say anything

To be honest this is not just a Canada problem, I work in recruitment in Canada across from Ontario to Vancouver remotely from South Africa. Its pretty much the same here. Most people live paycheck to paycheck. I manage to save despite also studying still and working, and life, but if i was working like my peers jobs here. I'd still live at 33 at my parents. That a lot of people do. \n\nI think its an international issue. But the reasons like safety, winter and cold, religion, definitely look at asian countries for sure. \n\nWent to Vietnam last year, the level of safety was amazing there, if you could keep Salary from Canada and move to a country like that you can live extremely comfortable.

I know your trying to be fair interviewing all the cultures but I find it hilarious how the majority of people you interviewed are immigrants acting as if their real Canadians and that other immigrants are the problem lol. It can take 2 days to a week to get a to get a room. They are the ones that are privileged and entitled. The government has rolled out the red carpet for them and the red carpet is our flag. They trample right over it. Our official slogan should be: Canada Every Other Country's Doormat! They get the key to the country immediately. As far as Pollivere backtracking and supporting immigrants it's because we don't have any real right wing politicians with balls. Every party is liberal. They just pose as opposing parties. It's pathetic. You can't tap dance around things or tip toe through the tulips. You have to take the bull by the horns. It's so easy to get a citizenship here. Basically they've swapped the old candy and toy prizes in cereal boxes for a citizenship. You can just reach right in and grab your citizenship or better yet cut it out on the back of the box and your good to go. The thing is as well is they shouldn't even call themselves the liberals or democrats. They should call the parties the fake liberal and democrats or wannabe dictator party because they try and pick and choose who has democracy and it's basically the Muslim and Hindu community, LGBTQ, black lives matter, and now the Ukrainian community and their constantly adding new radical groups. But real Canadians have no democracy.

How about the fact that Canada DOES have a culture and it’s killing our culture, they don’t know our manners or respect them, don’t respect our values or religion, have increased our crime rate like crazy and multi culturalism is a lie and doesn’t work, and immigrants don’t get to tell Canadians about there culture, white people are afraid to say we have a blend of English and French culture, and up until a decade ago things here were great

By the way, multiculturalism doesn't mean multiple laws. In Afghanistan, it's culture for 9 year old girls to be sold to 55 year old men but in Canada that's illegal. In the Middle East, men can have 4 wives but that's not normal in Canadian culture. Qatar still has slaves but in Canada, that's illegal. It's corporations who don't want to hire white people because desperate brown people are cheaper to hire and abuse. \n It was first indigenous who settled in this country. Then it was the British and French, who were Christians. Canadians laws, traditions culture & values are based on Christianity. Canada is not founded on Islamic laws, Hinduism caste system, or any other foreign religion that goes against tradition Christianity or progressive values such as having basic human rights. Of course non whites can be Christians or at least respect traditional Canada values but the federal government is making no effort to assimilate the new economic migrants recently coming to Canada. Denmark is enforcing immigrants to learn Danish to help stop the ghettos of mirgants who don't respect Danish culture. The federal government has no standards for who immigrates to Canada and they should be voted out!

People who get too emotional start blaming the people of a country when they should be blaming the government leaders who make the calls. Don’t use their background or religion to justify a complex situation

As an older citizen of a country of the global west this not what I, nor I suspect most of us, voted for or hoped for as our future. Then there are those immigrants who refuse to integrate and want us to change to suit them. That cannot stand. Those are people who have to go. We, of the global west, are learning that all cultures and religions are not the same, some are substandard and have no place in what was civilized societies.

These students are from very wealthy families who often have housemaids and servants to do domestic chores and who can afford to pay ridiculous student tuition for a second-rate Canadian post-secondary education. There are top Indian schools where it costs maybe 1/8th the cost and the education is very, very good (e.g. Indian Institutes of Technology) and certainly better than what they are getting in these second-rate diploma mills in Ontario. Moreover, there are very good tech jobs in India in cities like Bangalore. What these students are really after is Canadian citizenship, through a pathway that does not require strong qualifications. They were promised that by Indian immigration consultants. With Canadian citizenship, it is much easier to travel and live in the US, where many of them want to go (and some are even now entering illegally). \nA second reason is that these younger adults want to live independently from their parents. Many of them arriving in Canada are living on their own or with other students, for the first time in their lives, and are enjoying a lot more freedom from Indian social norms such as not being able to date people of a different religion or sexual orientation, or to marry the person of their choice instead of having parents involved. Three or four generations ago, when a lot of immigrants came after WWII, those from India were coming to large research universities or engineering firms and had a job or full fee waiver or university fellowship waiting for them. They were much more qualified and went on to be doctors, professors, business people and other professionals. This is what largely composed the Indian diaspora in Canada, until this wave of students brought along by the current government which admitted over 200K Indian students -- per year.

Its Funny how MOSTLY WHITE PEOPLE are commenting how immigrants who came there lawfully want to practice their religion. It’s not a new thing people have always came to canada and left. I worked with canada immigration and in late 90’s early 2000 I can give you the stats canada use to target 250000 immigrants a year and only could bring 160000 to 190000 immigrants In a year and never met the target on top of that Approximately 60000 immigrants used to leave canada either after getting citizenship or for other reasons. People who left were from different countries, backgrounds and religions.

When ur in other countries as a immigrant or ur basically a guest so follow the country law that ur immigrant in I feel like even tho I am from India live in Canada since 2014 I feel like I have to follow the rule of Canada I mean I am Canadian citizen now but still I can do my culture things too but at same time when other countries says no knifes in any public places or guns without any license even tho it’s part of ur religion it’s the rule u need to follow ur culture doesn’t work in other countries only work if it’s safe otherwise there nothing much u can do. My favourite festival from my country is Diwali and when I am in Canada i don’t use dangerous firework I only use smaller fire worker but I don’t use rockets and etc that can cause fires bec I am in Canada doesn’t mean I have don’t have to follow their laws laws r meant to keep people safe so i feel like the cop is on the right bec he doing his duty and following his own country law

I support religious freedom but tbh this is not India. Here in America you are welcome to practice your religion but we don’t open carry knives here so people get reasonably uncomfortable when they see someone carrying a knife around openly. The police officer wasn’t targeting a religious group, he was simply managing what some people would see as a concern or a threat even.

I believe it's more about not knowing the facts about other religions since he was doing his doing and he didn't knew why he was carrying this knife which has a religious reason for Sikh people but he must have not known about it so he reacted like that . I believe we all should learn somewhat about other religions so we can live in harmony with each other

Being an Indian living in India I can tell you one thing that mostly people who are not 'good enough' in anything pay lumsum amount of money to move to Canada. For instance, most of the students going to Canada for study, lack foundational knowledge that should've been taught to them at school. Take a GRE-like exam by randomly selecting Indians residing in this area and u will understand what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, the current Canadian govt knows this and capitalise on this problem as they have turned the education system of Canada into a money-vending machine. Furthermore, no skill development opportunities and lack of jobs intensify these problems as these individuals are never exposed in a multicultural urban setting. That is why likeminded individuals aggregate and live in silos. Lastly, for my Indian brothers and sisters, I would like to say that yall should try to assimilate with the culture rather than live in silos. That doesn't necessarily mean yall should abandon ur religion and culture, but try to participate more in various activities associated with Canadian culture. Like Im a Hindu, but I participate in Eid & Christmas as well in India.. We should be open to new experiences, especially when moving to a foreign country, one should be able to adapt.. just like one adapts to the weather, one should also embrace the culture.. Try talking to people who are 'non-Indians', have a genuine conversation, find out the history of the place and various other key milestones in the region.. mostly engage in amicable social behaviour. Holding grudge & closing doors to new interactions would not solve anything, neither for Canadians nor for immigrants.. Live and let live.. Cheers!

If a group of kind-hearted people start a new religion. This new religion set up a rule that all followers of the religion must carry an automatic gun or CP at all times. The reason given in this new religious book is to protect fellow humans from aggressive gunmen. Will govt allow them to board planes or go to schools, universities, hospitals, and public places? will all these automatic weapons be under freedom of religion or law of land? \n\nI am not sure if people agree but religion is based on beliefs and laws on experience. Commonsense tells that beliefs are personal and should be kept in personal space.\n\nThe university should not have apologized but should have expelled the person to carry a weapon in public places.\n\nThink of a gang that classifies them as religious and carries knives or swords in public places. Further, this is not the medieval age where you needed to carry weapons because you believed in a rule written 500 years back based on that time's need.

I have lived abroad for last 47 years, with god's blessings and grace life has been good, have pension and free medical treatment doctors medicine,i travel to India every year but medical treatment is a scam there and any thing which is simple abroad is complicated in India especially if they know you are living abroad they make it more complicated or scam you especially for medical treatment, traffic in Bombay is terrible, takes hours to move around in cabs , public transport its not possible to travel, so much or garbage around and pollution and the heat and rain its impossible to get out the house starting March until September its terrible luckily September to March can manage in India and its winter time abroad during that time,if it was not for the winter abroad my first choice would be abroad compared to India, people who are used to comfortable life and maids in India can't manage abroad, even I can easily afford a maid when I m in India I do my own house work in India as i do it abroad\nThe millions of Indian who live abroad complain but never coming back for good\nSorry to say indian are the most racist even among themselves caste, religion, State,and 99% of indian are fake and show off much more than their worth

Canada has too many people and students from India. It seems to me they didn't come here to be Canadians. They're here to make the country a platform for thier politics and religion. I left Dubai a few years ago and decided to migrate to Canada and here's why - \n1. Arab Muslims are openky intolerant of other religions\n2. As kids we were constantly subjected to abuse from Arab kids for being non- Muslim and i did not want that for my child\n3. Open racism and preference for GCC nationals after the emaratis\n4. Count wide shut down of restaraunts during fasting hours if Ramadan. All non Muslims barred from eating or driking WATER in public areas\n5. Holidays for only islamic festivals\n\nThis is a common theme among all Muslim dominant countries. Examples are Saudi, Qatar, Kuwait, Pakistan, and so on and so forth. You should definitively move out and make space for people who are secular and Christian in Canada.

I am a Canadian catholic born in Quebec, now live in Mississauga Ontario. I support everything you have said. I do not know why people can't mind there own business and let others go on living there own lives and beliefs, what is it to them. I also think that most religions do have some things in common.

Obviously way too many Indians and Muslim. They stick together, hire their own and I find many of them look down on black people and other races. They want you to learn about and accommodate their culture and religion but reluctant to do the same. As a teacher it is difficult to teach Arab men. Literally if you said these things a decade ago which I have people will bc all you racist or xenophobic but thankfully more Canadians are seeing the obvious truth now.

When left-leaning (social democrat) parties fail, they vote for right-leaning (more libertarian) parties, which anyone with any idea about the political theory would know favour the ones who own capital (who have accumulated wealth under social democrats), so now they can accumulate more wealth from the workers. It's a never-ending cycle if it continues like this. Capitalism has become a religion that people don't question just like religious people don't question their personal deity.

He's xenophobic and Im not fan of religion and have first hand experience with Islam when a Muslim friend was run our of my town by extremist family members and I think she left Islam as a result but this guy does not speak for me. @Harrison, there a bunch of holes in your story an thus superficial or lacking, yet has potential to be more Canadian in that you need to differentiate a bit more, attention in the details that you may have missed, votebank, Punjab province certain cluster of uncouth or gang type, instead of drawing in all religions and races and the best educated like how the US does with it, instead of a votebank cluster, that make up only 3% of the Indian population, yet 50% of Brampton, yet Canada is slower to do such. As I hope you know that, in that in Canada a city doesn’t usually choose newcomers directly factors of, ethnocentrism, pricing, etc are.  \n\nIt was or used to be that newcomers in many cases had to move to less populated centres i.e. in Saskatchewan/Manitoba etc, to help make the place more profitable and big as born Canadians usually didn’t want to move there. As your worst nightmare, me Canadian born Indian with a more Canadian accent than yours, yet I speak French yet am from the GTA. You should dig deeper instead of the old squeaky rhetoric repeating, you forget to mention Gurudwaras do have langar known as no charge meal, but you have potential to be known and yet ask people if they or why they are or aren’t willing to integrate. Any colour fair game, aside from asking Ukranian displaced on temporary refugee visa, not bc they are lacking melanin protection, but because their country is unsafe from aggression by a crazy. However, social programs are missing or drug users not willing to take up a program for various reasons. Maybe through proper fact checking, explain how India has over 200 ethnic and linguistic communities and why only one group is province, ethnic/attitude is prominent in Canada.  \n\nAlso do explain that there were many that were here in late 1800’s along with Chinese and Irish making railroads dragged over by British, the same British who invaded lands of established native nations people in Canada. Who are suffering from drug and alcohol problems likely tied to psychologic hurt to their fam or poor conditions, not just saying laziness etc.\n\nAlso to the incompetent people who think Indians only eat curry, which curry is largely a British invention, hence the last name in UK of caucasian people (white) of “Curry”, it is fun to laugh at ignorant or stupid people of any ethnic group bc it signals monkey brain intelligence. \n\nAlso, how about report on the alleged Nazi ties of poorly screened or liars who came from Ukraine circa 1940’s, even alleged ties to some poli in Canadia. \n\nGood street level reporting, just focus on facts and non sensationalist approach for a large win and even ethnics who agree with you.

The problem is that the government does not turn off the immigration to India. The government needs to let the actual people who come here integrate and mix. If you have nothing but wave after wave after wave of new immigrants come here then nobody will be mix with other races or religions. It is just human nature.

1469 sri guru nanak dev ji take birth nd started sikh religion and after 9 gurus our 10th sikh guru sri guru Gobind singh ji started khalsa nd on 30 th march 1699 guru ji flashed his naked sword ?️ in air and asked for 5 heads and thousands of people present in congregation were speechless but few minutes later daya ram ji from lahore stood up nd offered his head to guru ji and guru ji asked him to follow him in a tent ,after a short while guru ji came out with blood dripping sword nd everyone thought daya ram was sacrificed and everyone outside the tent could hear the sound of 'thud' from inside the tent as if their heads had fallen on the ground and this was repeated 5 times and but few moments later guru ji came out with no sword but 5 sikhs who were believed to be sacrificed came out wearing decoratied robes and guru ji announced that they were 5 pyaras paanjh pyaras who were daya singh ,dharm singh ,mokham singh ,himmat singh ,sahib singh ji and they were baptised by guru ji like that and on that day guru ji said -from.now on the khalsa shall be baptised with 'Amrit'.created with water stirred with a double edged sword while the words of gurubani are uttered..and today if anyone wants to get baptised in sikhism they hv to follow the process nd rules made under sikhism ,the aim was to establish equality between the gurus nd his followers .nd equality between all baptised nd their will be no difference of caste ,money ,fame between those baptised all r khalsa meaning pure .and main principles of khalsa r deg ,tegh ,fateh charity nd sword .guru ji inculcated 5 virtues in every sikh that r sacrifice ,cleanliness,honesty, charity and courage .every khalsa has to follow 5 kakkar,s rules given by sri guru Gobind singh ji .which r kesh- khalsa is not allowed to cut their hair as it represents the natural appearance of sainthood ,kanga,,kachaa,,kara ,,kirpan --the sword FOR protection of others ONLY, THE WORD COMES FROM SANSKRIT .. KIRPA +AAN means to do a sacrifice while protecting someone else , when they r in danger to protect their aan(respect) u have to do kirpa (service) ..so to protect someone else respect nd life u have to do a service nd have to sacrifice urself for their protection bcz that is the duty of a baptised sikh to use that kirpan while saving their dignity nd respect nd life nd if any sikh die whilst doinf that then he/she should die but save the people in danger , ..so ,,,guru ji gave this kirpan not to use it for ur own protection but for protection of others by sikhs and kirpan meaning depicts that also that is why kirpan was given not any sword like talvar bcz talvar tal +var tal means to protect ur own lifeline or dignity nd empire etc, var means to attack so talvar is to protect urself ..talvar means -to attack to save urself ..so,guru ji gave khalsa a kirpan for a reason not talvar ..to save people in danger ..and hindus know everything about sikhism nd even than many of them r commenting against this but some foreigners from usa ,uk r commenting in favour of sikhs that shows their respect nd level of understanding ..nd when \n ur own people r not supporting you but people of other religions nd nations r supporting you ....and in 1699 khalsa was made nd frm then to till now baptised sikhs r wearing kirpan ,but not even a single incident of missusing kirpan is their ..not even a single incident of sikh using kirpan for attacking others has been recorded ...bcz sikhs use kirpan only to protect the lives of others ..and for those who r saying that we will also carry guns nd north korea bombs if sikhs can carry kirpan ..their is a difference between 3 inch small blade and a gun nd a bomb ...and if ur elders have given martyrdom like sri guru Teg bahadar ji and bhai mani singh ji and have given you the right to keep the guns and bombs ,then you keep the guns nd bombs ..sri guru teg bahadar ji ne shahedi di for hindua but aaj k hindua comment kr rha h against sikh gurus bcz commenting kirpan is same as commenting against gurus bcz una ne he aa rules bnaye h ..but thanks to those foreigners who r trusting us sikhs thanks for understanding ..hindua were supposed to help nd support sikhs as they promised in 1947 but .

NAME ON COUNTRY WHERE MUSLIMS ARE HAPPY \nWho ever want to come reside to other country which they dont origin from must not be allow any public disply of their culture, tradition or prayers, it must be done indoors in thier homes, no religious school other than the country must be allowed, outsiders must completly live with the culture and tradition of the country they are living in what ever else must be performd inside their own homes, they can teach their kids their religion indoors no school or any other temples, masjids or church allows other then the country's orignal beliefs if they love thier culture religion they have their choices of lands where they can migrate to, bbut they like our lands, women, weather, money, they come to our lands and impose their things must not be allowed, this must the the visa policy, who they are must remain indoor where they live, the condition to enter must be clear that you wear how we wear, you live how we live, you can not have any public disply of your culture and tradional activities, protest, if you want to do what you can do in your country please stay where you are, First all the countries in the world come to one conclusion that outsiders residing in their land and country must adopt their culture and lifestyle, than they have no right to do any protest create unrest to the country they are residing and put the lives of those real people who the country belongs to, all those who want to support their home land must leave the country go back to their land and do it, those taken citizenship has to give up their rights citizenship if they want to be part of such protest that has nothing to do with the country they are living in, only protest allow must be for the country vs the people living in it and that also by orignal citiznes. So Canada by choosing your liberal government to endorse your sin has been your ruin. Repent and come to Christ before judgement starts.
