I was born and raised in Canada and in my 60’s now. I can’t afford to live here anymore, healthcare has declined, personal safety, fuel costs, insurance etc. most of all our politics are a mess on all three major parties. I have young 20 somethings telling me they think Communism is a great idea and they would rather fight for poutine if a war breaks out. Well it’s their future not mine. The AI, bots and trolls on the internet are telling them what they want to hear in order to stir up hate and entitlement. The NDP (New Democratic Party) is neither here nor there, they’re kind of always the minority and swing both the other two parties to divide the vote and gain some form of temporary power. \nI’d like to see a politician that has the balls to stand up to the dictators of this world that shit disturb in every continent because they are such little insecure bastards that they think they can conquer it. I’ve got news for them. Every single dictator in history has failed… miserably and often brutally. We need the kind of leadership in our Country that can produce good governance. Political unrest in Argentina and Chile. I have personally witnessed systemic racism in the USA and Canada. \nI don’t have anything tying me down to stay here so I will be moving on. Look I have NOTHING against Immigrants. But housing has been long ignored by all parties and now we can't even support our own population let alone new immigrants with somewhere to live. It's INSANE. Housing prices are absurd. We are doing immigrants wrong by telling them this is a great place to live. That's just false advertising. My city is super multicultural and I love that about it, but more and more I meet uber drivers that used to be professionals in their country. They're struggling here and it hurts to see that. When I migrated to Canada 30 years ago, this was a different country. This country could integrate foreigners without causing problems for the native people here. It was a moderate number of between 200 to 300 thousand for a population of 30 million The problem is that Canada has more people over 65 years old than young people, subtracting the number of born about 320 vs 220 who die every year, there would be no population growth that could pay for the retirements of the retired people and immigration in the correct numbers was something positive for the economy the problem is a broken immigration system too many without infrastructure and let me tell you a lot of them arrive and in less than a year they leave I think that Canada should not receive anyone anymore for the next 20 years until it fixes houses crisis

Canada cannot make its own money. So what does it do? It has to figure out unethical ways to bring in money. This is done by bringing in immigrants. There is multiple birds with one Stone hit here. Meaning gives immigrants the lie of a better life. So they take all their money that they have in their nation. And they bring it here. That's free money that Canada did not have to work for and now other nations have lost. then they lied to them and tell them that they can get anything they want. For me to get a franchise here while owning other businesses was IMPOSSIBLE 5 yrs ago. But these guys with no credentials are getting it right away. I wasn't allowed to modify my house or rent by law. And they are now allowing all of that. My mother had an international driver's license from France and she had to go through hoops to get her licence here. They are handing things over with no screening to these people which is cause instability and chaos. No structure. They let them bring their huge money here and put into franchises with no credentials. Bank loans free approval no questions asked. Meanwhile, most of those franchises will never make any money. Then they will take that money also, and put it into homes. Rent etc, and this is the part where they basically drain the immigrant money in an instant and put it into Canada economy. Now that you have all these immigrants buying all these businesses. Now you need slave work, so you start Bringing it more immigrants to work those slave jobs. Because in the 1990s, all the way up to 2010. You were encouraging Education. During that time Education was the money Maker. So you kept pushing that. Billions went to universities. Telling people that they'll have a better future. That was the lie of that time. Now you want the same people to work min wage jobs. Now immigration is a bigger Money maker. They say they're bringing in these guys Because they want to work these jobs that a canadians don't want to work. That's because you just made those fake jobs by creating more immigrants to come here have franchises that need minimum wage jobs. But you also promised the rest of us that if we worked hard enough, we will get better jobs. So why would we want to resort to minimum wage jobs on top of you ruining the market for housing inflation taxes etc? How could we even afford while working Minimum wage jobs. Not gonna lie. But Canadian teenagers feel entitled . They don’t want to work which is a shame. That might be a problem with the parents. But a good portion of 20-35 year old living with there parents are white Canadians. Let me be clear before you all slam me. But it is fucking true. I was born in bangladesh and lived 18 years of my life there, then I moved to The us which is where I went to university and spent the next 7 years of my life. Then in 2004 I moved to canada and spent the next 13 years there before finally moving to oceania. Let me tell you why I left canada, in the later years there I was noticing how much I was being treated like an immigrant yes I am an immigrant but living 13 years of your life in the country and not being treated like a citizen but new people come into the country brand new and are treated more like citizens then you are hurts a lot. When I was new in canada I felt much more welcome by my coworkers and the citizens then I did after living there for so many years. But there's two more major reasons I left canada and these reasons are just as big as to why. In vancouver where I lived, the homeless crisis as you may know about was getting out of hand, it was a major problem even when I first settled in vancouver but now people were scared to even go the store as mentally ill homeless people were terrorizing everyone. And the last reason to top it all off was that the prices for everything in vancouver were simply ludicrous, It was insane how high the prices went up and taking care of my family was a struggle. I moved in 2017 and never once looked back, where I am now everyone and everything is sane and it hurt to leave canada at first because of how long I lived there and the memories I had there but let me be very clear I do not regret leaving canada.

I was just forced by my husband to come here in 2010. I never plan to live abroad but I went for the sake of the kids and dont want regret. My husband is mentally ill even before we got married(family took advantage of me when they saw I was an independent widow that time). Upon arriving here, nothing was prepared,no beds no nothing just the social housing and he was already orienting me to get food from food bank and simply convinced me to follow here for the child benefits,free education and healthcare. Let me just mention, the family of my husband is claiming they were rich and prominent in the Philippines. Fast forward....14 years after, he didnt get a house for us....I just ran after him for child support....he didnt finish the divorce process that I ask him to do upon arrival....now, that its time for him to pay tution fee for college, he is mad! He is so desperate that he brainwashed one of his sons to blame me and make me feel like the whole thing is my fault! My son almost killed me last time bec his dad getting sympathy and ranting that he has no money. This is the biggest regret of my life......I believe if my sons are educated and grew up in the Philippines, they are more happy and was able to tap all their talents and intelligence. I am done here! And for people telling me that the money we earn here we dont get in the Philippines....sorry, my peace of mind and dignity has no price tag. I am not materialistic too. Respect to humanity is all we need!

That's definitely a responsibility of Canada's government and public schools themselves. You should never consider getting more and more students to this country if you don't have a clue how to manage this educational business properly. Moreover, the federal government should consider making better use of the existing budget to leverage AI models to do this job if nobody can tell how many students those public schools are able to accommodate for the next academic year. Today's AI can perform better than people think they do in such a matter of computing. Let the professional do their job. You just input all your available resources as a number of parameters into the AI models, and in just a few seconds, they can tell you how many international students one province should accept.

Ive been in around Toronto since 1973 and lived downtown 20 years ago, I owned a condo, and let me tell you the city was so much better 20 years ago its not even funny. It was also way better in the 80’s, in fact the entire country was better in the 80’s . Today the city is a ?show mostly due to the cost of living and I hope to leave soon to Niagara or Cambridge.

As an atheist I wish you all the best, it's true the political games destroying the West from within. Though I'm on the side of LGBT and i believe that they should have rights like everyone else, at the same time I understand that some extreme ideologies can go and push so far and I agree that let kids be kids. My only concern is that Islamic countries do not have any rights for LGBT people at all, in fact, they are being prosecuted based on religion since religion is basically the law.
