Just because you had the privilege and the means to be developed does not give you the right to demean other nations. It's always difficult to see changes around you and your home being in your words being raided by foreign entities. Guess what? The world is filled with different ethnic groups. Hundreds of years ago all your native homes were part of the indigenous people here and they didn't even have time to complain or lament online when the Europeans butchered them and massacred their homelands, claiming the land and setting up as their own. Now you are in a position to call something your home and we all know what all your ancestors did regardless of how good you are right now. The least you can do is not comment such provocatively online against other ethnicities or is this atrocity still there in your blood. It's very simple. You facts are way off to the point of being misleading. Then average cost of a home in the GTA is $1.2 million and by law you need a 20-25% down payment. Even if you're lucky to get that $800k home you need a 15% down payment of 15% so that's $120k! Incomes here suck you need over $250k to qualify for a mortgage...who earns that? My circle is lawyers, entrepreneurs, engineers and only 2 income professionals can get that. Over the last 10 years Canada has become very anti families and anti heterosexual so most people are single. It's also become super anti social. I've lived and traveled all over and everyone I know is making plans to go back to their home countries, countries of parentage or the US or Mexico. Question: How do you think working class immigrants afford multi-million dollar homes in places like Vancouver, Toronto, etc? Canadians are so ignorant about our over-generous “pension” system which is actually a welfare system b/c it requires no contributions or true commitment to residency nor a work history. Nor does it force immigrants to report their foreign assets or income unlike actual Canadians whose income and assets are closely monitored by the govt. These families sponsor their extended family members including elderly parents and grandparents while collect “pensions” from the feds and the province. Each elder collects approx $2,000/month from the feds while continuing to live in their home country. Think about it. A couple with 4 sponsored parents receives approx $8,000 per month which is paid out of general tax revenues collected from working Canadians who can’t afford rent let alone a down payment or mortgage. Canadian taxpayers buy million dollar homes for immigrants while they themselves can barely afford food.

There is a temporatory stop of foreigners buying home for 2 years. It use to be that a foreign student IE CHINESE)can buy home when they go to school here. They would graduate go back to their country and leave the house empty, leaving us Canadian with no home to buy or the prices are too high. 2 Words HOUSING BUBBLE. Remember that for the last 5 years we have been warned that the housing bubble will burst. Well these governments knew this and came up with a plan.\nIf Canada, Australia, UK and USA had not taken almost 10 million migrants the Housing bubble would have burst and property prices would have plunged at least 50% worse than in 2008, banks and major property developers would have collapsed and the building industry would have collapsed. and there could have been an economic collapse. \nSo they flooded our countries with every kind of Migrant, it did not matter, refugees, students, skilled etc. These millions of immigrants have rented rooms, flats, investors rushed in to invest thereby, leading to huge shortage and massive demand, which inflated house prices. I completely agree w this man. Ive worked my ass off for 30 yrs already & even w my private health insurance thru my FT job Its still gonna cost me between 12& 15 grand to get my teeth fixed. Its life threatening & caused by a bone disease that I have no control over but the Gov't wont help pay a damn cent. I love how the security guards were all brand new immigrants too ? In brampton there was a line up at a restaurant 1000 people long for ONE job posting. \n\nIts impossible to live here. If I was Prime Minister. I would Ban the immigrant Visa program for the next 10 years. I would deport anyone who has overstayed there welcome (those with expired visas) or are here (illegally) and now (not documented) \n\nThat alone would take many out of the shelters, homes, rentals, streets that should not be in the Country anymore. Leaving the resources and the people who work and volunteer for those resources to help the Canadian people (which would be the prime reason for this) Canadians first ! \n\nI would cut the Carbon Tax. Lower the Property Tax. Put a cap on all Strata fees. Lower the deficit. \n\nBuild more Hospitals and treatment centers. Put a ban on drugs and safe injections (as we know there is no such thing) \n\nMake it mandatory for those in need due to drug and mental issues (that have been diagnosed with such) to go to treatment centers (while building more centre's and hiring qualified professionals workers) to stop the crisis. \n\nChange laws on crimes and the time and penalty behind them. Doubling and tripling the time served and raising bail fees by 50% to keep folks that have criminal pasts off the streets <---- for first time offenders. \n\nFor those that have multiple offenses. Quadruple the jail times and put bail amounts 100% more then what they are now. \n\nGive those that kill, ra*e, torture, (and things along that nature (the death penalty) \n\nI would remove the mandate for Electric Vehicles for Canada. Gas / Diesel etc. \n\nI would build more housing / schools / retirement homes / hospitals / recreation centre's / Library and walk in Clinics. \n\nI would write a law that the roads in Canada must be fixed properly. Not just patched. \n\nI would raise the taxes on Multi Million and Billion Corporations and those that make $400.000 or more to pay a higher tax. While those that make less than $400.000 get taxed less. \n\nI would Lower the provincial taxes by 2% effective immediately and the Minimum wage across all provinces would be $17.75 an hour for full time workers (over 32 hours per week) with .25 cent yearly increases until 2030 to be reassessed. \n\nI would give Tax cuts to those who want to open businesses and build and sell Canadian Products to make sure Canadian Goods are affordable to make. Still have a profit to slow down overseas production creating more Canadian jobs for Canadian People. \n\nEvery Worker that works 24 hours or more weekly is getting Benefits making it mandatory for all types of business owners to make benefits available to the workers and ensuring the plan covers a minimum of 50% throughout the entire year. \n\nI would raise the pension to those who have worked 25+ years in Canada and remain in Canada as a retiree for a minimum of 6 months of the year 5% \n\nShrinkflation will stop. Write more. Understand more. You have people who have close to minimum wage jobs who bought a house in the 90s or early 2000s and are winning the lottery with their home being worth 2 to 3 times what they paid for it. Along the years they took out equity and bought more places and are now millionaires. While this generation pays for student loans and comes out making about the same, adjusted for inflation, and can't buy a home. Everyone thinks their million dollar home that was 200k 20 yrs ago has the price justified. It's a pyramid scheme

Healthcare suddenly became a huge problem. Few young people can ever buy a house. even a garbage house can cost a million dollars in major cities. Pensioners cannot even just pay rent ($2,000 for a one bedroom) or their basic pension. Nobody has a good solution for the homeless. Billions of dollars are being sent to foreign countries for some reason. Many degrees outside of doctor or lawyer don't get people jobs.

How about you get an education in your own country. I'm Aussie and we set limits on our own people at University and their education so that they can profit of foreign students, most being from China and India even though they have the 2nd and 3rd highest GDP's in the world and 1st and 2nd highest populations in the world, so they should be able look after their own instead of jeopardising the education of our own, but then Goverment will say we need to increase immigration to 400,000 a year ( just hit 27 million, 2 decades before we ment too) of mainly skilled workers who got their skill and education from our nation instead from their own people. All of this during a housing crisis, cost of living crisis, small job market and overwhelming Immigration. Dumbest plan I've ever heard.

Unemployment is rife in India, People do not get jobs matching their qualifications in India, racism and discrimination is rife in India in the Hindutva world, infrastructure is very poor and taxes are high… more than 2 million Indians moved out of the country in the past few years…. I've never made more money and never lived my life better. \n\nWhen a million students come to study every year in 2 major intakes, it's obviously hard to find jobs. Canadian government has rightfully put a cap on this number to prevent this. The only mistake they did was not putting a cap 3-4 years ago.

Canada is becoming worse every day anyway!!! Salary are low (while cost of living is skyrocketing), which is why we have so many Canadians and immigrants who are becoming so anxious, depressed and facing all sorts of mental problems), people are moody, quality of life is decreasing and transport is trash compared to France and the lack for doctors is making this country look like a third world\nEconomy!!! Even Canadians are happy to leave this place (poor weather, lousy healthcare, lousy retirement compared to places like France, lousy transportation compared to most of Europe, worse mental health services than Europe, people are too serious and take things so seriously compared to the French) and honestly, we think of leaving it too for another country.. that you can trust me! Is 900,000 the number for International Students only, or it includes those who go with them? E.g. Many come with a husband or wife which is granted an Open Work Permit, and many come with kids too. If 900,000 is for IS only, then multiply that by 2 or 3 to include those that go with them. So 2 to 3 Million? Come on, we gotta be kidding.
