Do this in American consulate and see what happens!! You are trying to act smart and innocent!! No visa officials will get angry just like that and also they don’t have to tell u a reason when u put a camera on their faces!! You would be in jail if it was in American consulate!!

I live in US... and to be honest I am disappointed with indian embassy service. Never take call. Never talk respectfully. Curt rude and scam callers by billing them to share general info that is supposed to be their job to answer calls. I don't care if they are understaffed but for the amount of fees that they charge to do visa and passport, it is ridiculous how unprofessional and uncivil they are behaving. An immigrant (aka landed immigrant) is someone who has permanent resident visa.\nAn international student (aka foreign student) is NOT an immigrant as he/she has a temporary student visa.\nAn international student might have a chance to become a landed immigrant once they graduate (but it is NOT a guarantee).\nA student visa does not automatically make you a landed immigrant.

The indian immigration is worst and crossing there limits. I have married a hindu girl from Bangladesh . Because some issue the registration process is still pending. And the Indian immigration always threatens my wife why she coming frequently in india. She is coming legally via tourist visa and i have not done any illegal process. Just frustrating that nowdays we can not work properly and needs to bother with such a thing that every human being did.

People are just excited to get visas and go abroad because they assume its full of milk and honey and you get everything eadily. Shame on them for not making their own research. Let them go back home voluntarily or get deported

International students coming to Canada should budget properly for tuition fees, housing and living expenses. There are too many stories of destitute international students living under a bridge or using the local food banks for subsistence.\n\n\nCanada should not be granting student visas unless they can demonstrate financial means to afford their education. Many international students come here and work part-time to partially subsidize their education. \n\nIt is not fair for Canada to help subsidize international students.

Most of it's from India because we just put a 2 year cap on visa applications. We made it harder for people to get into the country, so of course many will decide to stay with family now that they can't move all their family over.

Indian students coming here for second rate colleges are completely unrealistic. They don't have marketable skills yet, the language skills are very poor. It takes a lot of effort to succeed. A student visa is not the golden ticket to prosperity. \nDo your research before you come. \nMake a serious effort to speak english that can be understood. \nBe honest about your motivation. \nMy parents chose Canads. \nOnce you move here that is your home country. No one forced anyone to move here.

They’re leaving because they have to, because they’re on student visas. And government of Canada change the rules for them. And they’re not applying for pr or citizenship because they can’t. Not because they don’t want to.

The headline is wrong. These people they interviewed are not permanent residents. Therefore they can’t apply for citizenships. They interviewed these Indians who were international students. Who come here misrepresenting themselves in their visa applications. Pretending to be students but come here to work and stay. Canadian government put stricter rules on them to crack down on bogus immigration consultancy and colleges that exploit these students. This news segment is not 100 percent clear. It is true there are pr or naturalized citizens of Canada that leave the country to move back to their home country or move to another country but not all are Indians.
