The homeless industrial complex to big to fail , the landlord elites have allowed all our politicians to become landlords even our housing minister is one so do you think they are flooding our country with foreign students and opening our borders to millions of migrants isn't to push housing costs to the moon so they can put more money in their pockets YOUR DAMB RIGHT , the same people that have lobbied for the soft on crime laws that are causing retailers to shutter their doors are buying up the properties at firesale prices including devaluing housing in the high crime areas then buying them all up , watch for plan B and that will be getting billions in government grants to use their properties to house all the homeless and feeding them through their online markets because there will be no brick and mortar stores WIN WIN for the elites who caused this insanity WAKE UP

And if your on disability please people we get 556 from ODSP and there's a rent supplement, so I can go get a place for 900$ a month and disability and the rent supplement pays the rent. The government doesn't want people using the rental supplement

Here in Moncton New Brunswick its been getting bad over the past few years with homeless camps, yet they are building huge apartment buildings on every possible place they can find space but those are all going to all the immigrants and people moving out here from Quebec and Ontario. I'm a school bus driver and just on Monday while driving my students, there was a group of homeless trying to resuscitate a guy on the sidewalk who looked completely dead with a purple face and this happened maybe 50ft from a local foodbank. They all walk like they are zombified and bent/knelt over. Thanks to woke mayor's and their sanctuary cities we are seeing this crap and to Trudeaus and his Liberal governments immigration policies.

I rarely see comments open on CBC... there must be a reason... hmmmm The fact that the Trudeau government (who owns CBC) is looking for an opinion means that it is FINALLY getting through to them that when immigration outpaces available housing you get a problem... when you do it by margins of millions of people you get a CATASTROPHY! EACH and EVERY new immigrant beyond the limits compounds the problem and if the Trudeau government does not stop it will destroy the Canadian economy if it hasn't already.

You pay income tax up to 55% and 15% tax on all goods you buy. And if you buy a 15 years old car, they will make you pay 15% tax on the value of red book. And pay property tax, and tax on gas.... And all that billions are going to Ukraine and Isra+hell. All this and the government don't have enough money and want more!!? All this and the health system is sh*t!! All this and the government wants to indoctrinate your kids!! To my experience, this kind of system has no mercy on citizens, and too strict on taking your money and life, no chance for the wicked if you become unproductive you become a waste. So, with all this taxation, you think you'll have great savings for retirement? With all this, it is worth risking your health in those kinds of hospitals? It worth spending you life and savings on kids that will grow by government values that moral-less ??? Hell no.

Fix the government & stop showing the world that Canada is safe heaven for rest of the world. I have seen Ukraine refugees taking money from Canadian gov later leaving back once the money is finished. I have seen people coming to Canada with Gov 40-50K once that is finished they leave. The shelters for single men in Toronto are terrible, for the most part. The majority of people don’t understand the plight of the homeless and blame them for the situation they are in! I wonder how many people watching this, realize that the reason that we have such high prices in Canada is that we have a government hell bent on destroying the energy industry. The price of goods is directly related to the cost of energy. When taxes make up more than the actual fuel cost it causes an inflation. When the cost of producing goods is increased by the cost of energy it causes inflation. Inflation caused by government is the number one issue in all western countries. The only way to slow inflation is to vote in governments that will focus on energy and not focus on green agendas.

This is the result of having an extremely left leaning government. And many young people think it's good.\nYes it's important to bring immigrants but lower your immigration requirements (low language requirements, loophole student visas etc) just to boost up the immigration volume will only bring you the wrong group of immigrants. But again, it's a political agenda until they realize even the immigrants don't want to vote for them now.

The Liberal government is simply leaving a big mess to the next elected government, so it might have a slight chance to return. They don't give a f about Canadians, it's just a part of their plans.
