Born and raised in Toronto, moved away for good about 6 years ago. \nLack of social cohesion, too expensive, too much crime, too much traffic. It's on track to becoming a wasteland. Canada is in trouble. \nRapid mass-immigration has been a complete failure due to a plethora of reasons. Some politically, some economically, and some culturally. \nDiversity to this extent is inherently and predictably destructive.

I disagree with the cost of living part. Toronto and Ontario are not Canada . Most Canadian cities are affordable .

It’s a zhithole, cheapest house in poorest province is 300,000 while salaries are 45,000 a year where you take home 30,000 in a year for high taxes but people are so stupid that just won’t stop immigrating cuz they think is just like the US where you work hard and you are rewarded. Canada is not. The more you work the higher taxes you pay. Life is expensive , housing is in crisis and healthcare is gone. But philipinos indians and Africans won’t stop coming here thinking that lifestyle is similar to US where only cultural and languages are shared. Quality of life it’s worst and worst every year. Please check the visitor visa application properly before approval. Visitors from a few countries are applying for asylum after landing in Canada.\nHow come a fake Asylum seeker gets a visitor visa? I feel sorry to see all these news about Canada. Canada is a beautiful country it values family. Instead of granting visa to high school graduates they should welcome more to family sponsorship, professional graduate students on the funded program. Canadian take student loan from government to fund thier undergraduate program. People chose to immigrate for quality of life and experience new things. It is very disappointed to mobe to that country where the housing is top challenges and affordability. The consutlant offices has to be penalized for selling canadian pr. I understand why there are fewer applications and why fewer creative, driven people choose to come here.
