What frustrates me is that a lot of these immigrants are prone to vote Liberal or NDP. The problem with Canada is the leadership that they helped elect. Not all, but stats show this. When Canada comes back as a great country, these people will come back and then the cycle will repeat itself. This is why there should be a new law saying that in order to vote, one generation has to had lived in Canada for at least 20 years. Or else they'll just bounce back and forth and simply use Canada for its benefits, while we're the ones always fixing and rebuilding the country. I feel very bad for the people about to retire and now don't have enough because of the poor choices this government have made during these 8 years.

I respect myself for leaving Canada without taking citizenship, what is the point not liking to live but wanting the citizenship, hoping things will be better?

Cause before we came, when we had very solid work history and sought after credentials ( teachers, doctors, nurses) we were told that our credentials would be recognized. It turns out that there is endless redtape, overworked or incompetent institutions, and after 4, 5, or 6 years we are still dealing with bureaucracy and unable to work in our field and paying insane living costs. By the time we get our credentials recognized we have bern out of our field so long that our CV looks like crap. The smart ones leave before that, the dumb ones like me leave after, worse off, angry, and after having wasted their own money along with Canada's money fir years

Living in Canada means work hard pay your rent groceries bills high taxes that's it no savings no life better move out to USA or other rich European countries earn better save better

Truth is that the immigration system has been a source of income and financial gain for the system but gives little back. Sadly many Canadians think the opposite is true. They think because refugees are given shelter while waiting for processing that means they receive support more than the locals. Truth is immigrants come here mostly on loans, spend years working and spending to support families back home, it takes years to understand the taxing, credit, wealth, education and many other resources that drives the Canadian community. This put immigrants in a position where they work more than the local just to meet the bare minimum life standards. If many of the immigrants knew the ins and outs of the system, then they would really take over and appreciate being in canada. \n\nCanadians and canada as a whole are welcoming. You might meet a few who have little knowledge of the global system and standard against immigrants, something that their countries economic system depends on. Remember your countries have never lived without immigration. From the day the first white personal stepped onto this lane, immigrants have continued to come in more different colours. It’s our duty to focus on making life better not on how we can make life harder for others. Wanting to live in canada with your own specific community and wanting others to stay away from a land that has been shared for decades is just a selfish stand. We all love canada because we all find peace here.

Great, there are everywhere, it’s too much, in some places you think you are in India. The worst is that some of them are unhygienic and are 20 to live in a room and it does not make them uncomfortable. So many people complain about them.

Try being a solo senior trying to survive here after paying taxes and voting and spending money here our whole lives! No freebies for us but hey, Afghans get red carpets, money, homes, and handouts 5 minutes after arriving on a free flight.

Even my family members who came here in the 80s are saying their home country is looking nicer to live in these days... the multiculturalism is the best part of Canada, you get a sample of the entire world in one city, but the costs are becoming unbearable.

I am also an immigrant. My parents moved from germany to canada when I was a toddler. Mom already moved to the states and found a happier life. I really hate this province (quebec) so I am thinking about following my mothers footsteps. I do not blame the other immigrants for choosing to leave. Provinces like this one (quebec) is not the best to live in.

A know a lot of people who left Canada. To be honest - I myself even considered it. The cost of living is just insane, taxes are too high, housing market is in its worst shape, the stuff they teach kids in school is just absurd (too much focus on diversity and inclusivity). My immigration process took 14 years in total until I could get here, it was a blessing and I had a lot of gratitude to be here after living in a warzone. Ive lived in Winnipeg for 10 years, a part of me was always happy and okay to deal with the cold because at least nobody would be killing you or attempting to on a daily basis, with rockets and bombs. 10 years later, I was wondering that the only reason we came here was to escape war, and not find a better quality of life. You can tell me “you don’t like it then leave” but i find it disturbing that many Canadians here don’t recognize how bad the situation gets, when governments don’t do anything to enhance quality of life and corporates take control everywhere and raise the costs to unbelievable numbers. Housing crisis, most can’t afford houses or even rent a nice apartment. Healthcare system is a complete dogshit mess, people here don’t recognize the importance of how much this industry needs to be supported by governments and citizens because EVERYONE benefits from it and stay alive longer. I don’t know man, I only see it collapsing going forward, especially when everyone is divided and the aboriginal issues are a constant trend.

How about letting these hard working doctors and nurses from other countries help out our health care system when in a lot of cases they have higher education and standards than we do here. Makes absolutely NO SENSE. But then again Libs don't make a lot of sense either. Trudeau venture singles, gets people in just long enough to secure thier vote. I hate to tell you this but Canadians have always moved around to other countries for opportunities. Given the number of Canadians living in Los Angeles makes it Canada’s 4th largest city. Till now it was only possible for Indians with high skills to go to USA with work visa and they apply for green card. In Biden rule it is possible to give huge money to agents and cross boarders like this. So semi skilled and unskilled are trying to go. Mostly due to peer pressure. There was an asian ESL language teacher woman in 2016 in west hill high school who was 100% rassist vs white students she went so faar she forced an older student to sign a paper about he not wanna parcipiate in ESL school anymore. Another catholic school Mary Ward LINC & ESL Centre 44 Kelvinway Drive, Scarborough, ON M1W 1N6 had teacher woman who forced jewish and muslim students to parcipiate in christmas celebration. So half of that class leaved that catholic school. there theyre went so faar theyre not let an israelite student to study there and forced the best teacher to go to go to her early pension status becouse she was liberal and backed many students there before. Theyre even maybe sent message to other catholic school to bully that student. He not went to any catholic school anymore in toronto even if those were at last not so faar from his living place.
