I lived in Canada for 13 years, my two kids were born there\nI was there from 1985 thru '98 a truly wonderful country with remarkably friendly an resilient people.\nI lived in numerous places around Toronto and always got on with the local communities.\nRecently went back on vacation and struggled to recognize the place, change is inevitable but one has to \nwonder if its for the good of the country.\nMy heart will always be with Canadiens and I wish y'all well.

I lived in canada six years. Got the citizenship. Then moved back to home country. There is both social and economic problems. Realised after doing a number of jobs and getting fired, that there is selective racism, largely immigrants are an underclass (canadian experience), too expensive, high taxes. One can live with the cold weather but not cold attitudes.

in my opinion, becos you have never been in a poor or developing country so you will never understand the situation. You have never been to a consulate to apply for visa to Europe, Australia, Canada or US even you were in a very very very very very rich family in those poorer countries ... so never know why pp wanna move to Canada, US or similar countries .... as a Canadian citizen you are free to go to many countries without a visa, That''s one of the best privileges .... You can work in Canada and retired well in other poorer countries but other pp could not do that ........

The people that are complaining about Canada have some valid points , as do I . But in travelling to other countries you really see how the good extremely out weighs the bad . The main problem in my opinion is allowing massive Immigration without improvement of services across every aspect of living . This leads to the degradation of the quality of life . Canada is a country that looks good on paper, but the reality is much different.

I guess we did a right move. During the cold war we moved to Canada in Jan 1990 from former Czechoslovakia after spending almost 2 years in Austria to enjoy freedom. I remember renting a 3 bedroom apartment with 2 balconies in Brampton /ON for 360/M. In Mississauga 600/M for a 5 bedroom townhouse. Later on in Orangeville/ON I bought a fully detached house with a nice land with own swings and slides a swimming pool for 144 000.00. When the non stupidity in law started in 2002 we sold our house packed our things and went back to Europe. I always loved Canada as my second home but I guess the table has turned and we cherish freedom elsewhere. I am really sad about what's going on with Canada but it isn't really that hard to figure out why.

90% of the population in Canada people are really sick and suffering from different kind of diseases . That talks very bad for Canada that means the life in Canada is very bad ! If in one country if the percentage so high of the people who are suffering from : \nDiabetes, High Blood pressure, Heart disease, Dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Heart attacks , Cancers, etc. It means that country is not good to live in it .

People in ER have been dying in Canada after waiting for 10-12 hours. Canada does not publish these horrible things in india or in any other country to maintain her image . Free healthcare means no health . Aldo, not everytjing is free in healthcare . You need to pay for dental , eyes, mediines , physio , other medical eqipment etc . Canada has been lying too much . My child graduated in computer science in 2021 and is still looking for a job in software development. Government policy allows Canadian companies to off shore their software development work and also allows for foreigners with IT experience to be fast tracked as permanent residence to Canada. It is gloomy for young Canadians, as our Govt- federal and Provincial- places more focus on businesses and profits about stability rather than orderliness in our society.

I have absolutely had it with this government. Canada is a terrible place now thanks to the idiots in power.

Education is a biggest scam Canada is offering to the foreign students: from few room institutions, failing them purposely for double dip of fee, many times over enrolling for the capacity, not returning fee if they object, online classes only, One class at one location and other at far away different location.\nThe main purpose of the govt is to bring young labor, who also bring $$ (fee) without any benefits to them or rights, who will work for at least 20-25yrs.
