One of the things that I don't get is why Canadian businesses hardly made any effort to explore other markets other than the Canadian & US market. Canada is located in the middle between Asia & Europe and they also are located pretty close to Latin American countries. Yet very few Canadian companies are willing to expand beyond the US market. I feel like Canadian companies are too complacent and like the video said risk averse. Having said that, I don't think being risk averse is such a bad thing. At least the local banks can withstand crises better compared to a high risk business environment like the US. There are always pros and cons in every environment to me.

Wait but I thought that Venezuela was a gun free zone you would think they would love it it there because the normal civilians can’t protect themselves I mean own fire arms. North Americans aren’t very far from this reality we close our eyes to.

I hate to see people being treated like this by their own government, but we need to have border security. However, I would love for there to be a safe place for them to go that’s close to the US in the mean time as they go through the process of becoming a US citizen.

My fore father's came here as Welsh mappers they didn't go back because they knew thus was the best land mass in the world. I'm so glad there is a true democracy here. Other countries have immigration laws, I do agree we need to first take care of the ones who's been here for 20 years and 10 years the one's with good working efforts and no criminal record pay there taxes every year and get no help from the GOVERNMENT like foodstamps,wic,public housing and free medical insurance.
