You took down time because changing your gender identity was something you felt you needed, which isn't putting the service of your country first. I don't choose myself over my people - period. I don't believe that is the merit of a good leader. I don't believe the excellence in your skill set comes from an inability to establish personally what gender you want to be. Results in combat and protecting what's right in the air and on the battlefield have little to do with wanting to be a woman or a man. Get the job done, be a silent operator. It seems to me, that you care more about your gender than you do about your service to your country. I hope in the end, you get everything your heart desires. I truly do. But I hope you recognise that the world isn't fair. I don't think this piece by CNN is more important than covering what's going on in the lives of those suffering that need the air time more than this individual. Further more, the reporter - she just looks like an angry woman who isn't getting what she wants. She doesn't appear to be unbiased at all. It's not a good reflection for the CNN. I think fair reporting is fair, I also believe one should come across as unbiased when reporting fairly, here the reporter has failed to do so in my opinion. Out

As a combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, multiple times, I completely agree with the president’s anti-trans policy in the military. Soldiers have a hard enough job as it is much less stacking on some DEI nonsense. That’s only gonna take time away from their training and ultimately DEI is going to 100% negatively affect the mission and their safety. Of personally over a 10 year period served with a couple gay and lesbian Service members and never once was what they did in the privacy of their own bedroom ever an issue or counter to the mission but this new age woke DEI nonsense is completely counterproductive, dangerous, And disrespectful to the non-DEI service members. The simple act of picking an unqualified, military leader, who’s responsible for the care and lives solely on the gender, ethnicity, religion, or pronoun, and not on merit, experience, competency, or any of the other real requirements for a military leader is literally the most irresponsible, dangerous, and disrespectful thing you can do to the men and women who have literally dedicated their life for years in service of our country! There’s absolutely no excuse on this planet that would make it ok. Being a service member in combat is already the most stressful job on the planet, but to make them take their focus off of the immediate threat to focus on political correctness or someone’s magical mystery pronoun while trying to prioritize and mitigate threats and combat is the most asinine and literally dangerous Nonsense I’ve ever heard!??????

Never heard of Vets for American and I have been a vet since 78. We do not need a social experiment in the military. I have seen so many people leave the military because of DEI programs and the embarrassment of trans people and the demands they make, their words. All I hear from this person is me and I, words that indicate an individual and not a team member. Who will follow a leader that they have no respect for ruins the team and fails the mission.

I hate Trump and everything he stands for but transgenders serving openly are contrary to the principle of good order and discipline. No matter what people think transgenders are not respected by their subordinates and there has to be respect to be an effective leader. In this man's case he flies as a crew of 1 and possibly 2 so he doesn't require respect from his subordinates but a frontline combat officer leading a company would get zero respect and would probably get fragged. The standards have to be the same across all branches and all jobs and that's not possible. The military is mostly populated with southern and mid western men and they will never accept this so as a veteran I support this move to ban them. I would also like to see the standards restored in regards to fat heterosexuals too. There's nothing that says lack of discipline like a fat soldier whose buttons on his BDU shirt are about to pop and they can't see their toes.

Your average soldier is not going to respect a leader or want to follow a leader who used to be a man and is now a woman and Vice, versa! I agree with Trump and Crenshaw even though I don't Crenshaw. There is no room in the military for this BS. I served 10 years and this BS is nothing more than a huge distraction. You have people who were going in just to get the operations. They spend 4 years in the military changing gender on tax payers dime. Out of the whole 4 years they may be deployable for about 6 months and that ain't all at the same time. When I was in this stuff was not an issue! They were not allowed to join and neither were gays.\n\n Think about it everyone is so bent out of shape over sexual assault well if you take a couple of gay guys and put them in an infantry unit they are going to look at all those men the same way a straight guy would look at all the girls if he was dropped off in an all girls collage. Nothing but problems and issues the military doesn't need!!! Seen it first hand back then when it was not allowed. Incase no one noticed military recruitment is down to dangerous levels! I have had 2 children in Canada, both being a cesarean birth, one head injury where I was in a coma for 3 months, total stay in hospital, 6 months, and had cancer treatment in hospital lasting 2 years, all while being a single father, raising my 2 girls, and I only paid my $58.00 healthcare premium paid 4 times a year, and nothing else. You can gather tens of thousands of people to illegally invade a country but you’re telling me these same folks can’t put their heads together to build themselves a town. Or to gather in front of their politicians house and clean out their corruption in their country. Or to formulate a deal with some other country’s so they can get some funding to startup opportunities in their own communities. There’s enormous value in the fact that you can have this many people gather in person the problem is nobody has the brains or intelligence to be a good leader so that the human effort isn’t wasted. Even if they were to get in the problems their facing will not be solved. In CNN's defense, there aren't many news media groups who can keep up with the accomplishments of President Donald Trump. Trump has held more press conferences and answered more press questions in one week than Biden in the last 4 years. Trump has been to North Carolina, which still doesn't have power, water, sewer, or gas lines restored with no federal aid and California working successfully with Democrat leaders there. You can hate his policies and him and you probably hate yourself too, but he's the most accomplished hard working POTUS in US history.
