Everyone I know voted for trudeau in 2015 just so the conservative were voted out. They didnt vote for trudeau, they voted against conservatives lol and I feel like next election will be the exact reverse of that. Voting conservative so trudeau is out xD

I'm born in the UK to Serbian parents, but grown up in Norway so I've seen three different cultures in my life all at once. I always liked Canada for being diverse because then I wouldn't have to switch between being English, Serbian or Norwegian, I could be more me because I am basically multicultural. For years I've idealised Canada and it wasn't until just two weeks ago that I got to visit and see for myself what Canada is like. I was in Toronto and also in Vancouver visiting a family that moved there from the UK I hadn't seen since I was a kid. I loved the nature (Especially Vancouver my god!) and the people, but I learned about how extremely expensive housing in Canada is to the point that it would be hard to make ends meet just renting a place let alone buying a house. Also how immigration is out of control and those who do come to Canada are disproportionately from one country being India rather than many different, which is not good for maintaining diversity. This is something I saw having lived most of my two weeks in Mississauga just south of the airport.\n\nI hope you guys finally get someone better in the next election, because I have more hopes for Canada than I do for the UK. Whenever the young leading politician is elected, the country is fated to ruin. Running country requires more than just good look and hype from youngsters, just getting their a couple of voting right. The housing crisis is unbelievable. Last 5 years house prices went up dramatically. Cost of living; our grocery bills doubled in the last year! Health care system is crippled. We moved to another city and still waiting for 2/3 years to be assigned a family doctor! Safety is becoming more and more issue. People used to keep their doors unlocked. Now? No way josey. It is sad. I m looking for a change. Next election, definitely will vote for the opposition party.

Trudeau has nuked the way of life that Canadians used to enjoy. The problem with the election system is that you could get elected prime minister even with about only 30% of the popular vote. Not saying that a popular vote is the right way to go, but we have a population of around 38 million, and only about 30% actually voted for Trudeau. Canada is a sinking ship.

The election turnout in 2015 did not set a record. It was the best turnout since the 1993 election. It was a full 11 percent below the Canadian federal record.

As a Canadian, I like seeing this coverage of a very true issue. Currently, the polls say Pierre will get in the next election but how much good that will do - only time will tell. Currently if you can afford to move and don't have anything tying you down in Canada, you should move and many of my friends have. Some to Europe, some to the US. The best way of putting it is, it's just not worth it anymore.

I can assure you the inflation numbers, are fake. Food prices have gone up a lot more than 10%. Since this guy was elected we went into a downfall, and covid made it 10x worse.

The intro to the video kind of portrayals your biased doesn't it? You introduced the elections and who one and the state of Canada now indicating your biased that all of our problems are takings to political reasons. People are easily swayed with words sometimes opinions should to given lightly with all factors and not just the ones the help your opinion seem correct. You should include historical events that started the housing crisis in Canada. Even your graph only showed a spike of immigration intake but only AFTER covid but you sway the conversation to think the intake was so different when even your graph shows it stayed the same till covid. Number of those facts would have been more convincing to strengthen your opinion. Numbers are nice but not when it's placed in again, places that help make your opinion correct. In that case, only one side of the story and most facts are hidden this way. I enjoy the pictures though, nice editing. Lots of videos makes it more engaging and not lose people's interest

As a Canadian that lives right on the Canada US border, I went to the states in very early '80s, 4 times. Not going back any time soon. Darien Lake and House of Guitars in NY, Mackinaw Island. If Dodo trump is elected(he won't be) I will never go back because the US will becone the new North Korea.

Almost feels like reverse colonialization from all the British territories. First, they converted the UK and then to the other commonwealth nations. With China making up 18% of the world's population, India at 18% and Africa at 18% expect to see more from these 3 countries (the last is a continent). Although once they have citizenship they are all Canadians. Shame the interviewer only talked to almost homeless non-Indian Canadians! 2015 was my first federal election that I could vote in. I voted against Trudeau and I told my parents after he won that it was going to be a disaster. I was right.

The government has caused this problem. It needs to get out of the way. Elect people that push for progress, it's not the liberal party. Promises from the government to build affordable housing, or subsidize housing will always under deliver and just cost everyone else more.

The leader of the NDP Jagmeet Singh is helping prop up the Trudeau's minority Liberal party. Trudeau has made things so bad for Canadian's and they are so angry. It's time Singh stopped supporting Trudeau so an election can be called and have a change of government to get us back were Canadians can have an affordable place to live again.

The problem isn't always from a federal perspective. British Columbia fools elected a socialist government who have also created hardships with high cost of living, terrible health care, and housing bureaucracy. In fact, being a landlord is so burdensome, many are selling their rental homes because it's the only way to escape the cumbersome challenges of owning them. This is adding to the crisis because renters are being evicted in BC because people like us are getting out of the rental game. It's not worth it anymore.

Why do they keep showing Justin Trudeau? These problems have been building for decades. I sold my house 5 years ago for over 100% what I paid for it, and lived in it for about 5 years. The current government had been in power for two years at the time. We’re never going to solve these problems as a nation if we just use them for partisan election engineering instead of recognizing the real causes.

It's kinda strange that at Ukraine in 2019 people voted for 'handsome good guy' with record breaking numbers at elections results and Canada in 2015 elected 'handome good guy'.
