Given the economical condition of Palestine before war, and the destruction that it has faced now, I'm pretty sure any Palestinian would rather receive support and visa in any other Arab country than to pick up the pieces of their own country.\nA piece of land doesn't mean anything when your country doesn't provide you with the means to make a good life for yourself, that's why people immigrate.\n \nYou don't see Ukrainians eager to run back to their country, cause receiving Visa support and other government benefits abroad as given them a better chance of a peaceful and dignified life.\n\nArab countries have neglected Palestinians before (outside of the spotlight) and they doing it again now.

I live in a condo I pay a $2100 mortgage payment for a 220k mortgage of $700+500=$1200 maintenance and levy. $1800 Property Tax I work throughout BC so I spend $10.000 on fuel and $3000 car maintenance. left over on Grocery. The running cost makes me feel like $20000 down in advance every month which means if I get $ 20,000 today it will be zero right away.

As a Canadian I feel we all need to stay and fight for our Country. And by that, I mean educating those around us as to why we should vote against certain political views ie: communism/marxism and socialism, as we see being practiced by the Liberals and ndp. Vote for those who respect Canada's Traditions and Values and our National Identity. None of us want to live in a Post-National State, as Trudeau promised when he was elected!! Man answered very diplomatically, that doesn’t mean his answer is right. You see he said things that would satisfy both parties. As a Muslim nation with clear indications given in Quran and Hadiths, they must take a stand with Palestine if they know that they are right to do so. There is no grey area in wars, there is either right or wrong.

They never identified themselves as Palestinian before the creation of Israel. This is bizarre to take a Roman name to call yourself. Also no blinked an eye as Arabs forced the majority of Lebanese Christians from their homes. Lot's of blind eyes ? to things from the past. He basically said: they made their bed and now they can lie in it. \n\nThere’s quite a few Palestinians trying to leave and seek refuge in Egypt since they opened their borders to take a limited number of them in.. as long as they’re not associated with Hamas. \n\nHamas brought this war to the Palestinian’s doorstep in Gaza and if other Arab nations don’t want to open their borders to the Palestinians who would like to leave because of the war, then there will be an increased number of civilian casualties. Just because their fellow Arabs refuse to take them as refugees doesn’t mean Israel loses the right to defend itself from the barbaric terrorist attack Hamas launched against them. \nAny other country would have the right to defend itself from terrorists that live at their borders. If Hamas cared about their citizens, they’d have a plan for them and their safety once they initiated this war on Oct 7th. But it seems like Hamas’s only plan for them was to be disposable pawn martyrs caught in between them and Israeli forces. \n\nYou can’t torture, rape and kill 1,400 Israeli citizens/foreign nationals and take 200+ hostages back to Gaza during a depraved terrorist attack and then cry ceasefire when that country declares war and is winning. Especially when you’re still holding onto hostages and not honoring the terms of the first ceasefire by letting the Red Cross see the hostages. \n\nIf these other countries cared about the Palestinians, they’d take any refugees that wanted to leave. They clearly don’t want to do that for some reason. They’re watching from afar with their popcorn, saying “isn’t it terrible what the Israeli’s are doing.. but we won’t let them come here to escape, which would let the Israelis fight this war with Hamas, who initiated it, without civilians in between.” With no mention of how Hamas as put them in the middle and isn’t protecting them. Also no mention of any responsibility Hamas has for bring this war onto them by the large scale terrorist attack, that includes hundreds of civilian hostages of all ages.

Seriously considering moving back to India!! After living in Canada for more than 2 decades, retiring here with the meagre income means skipping meals and maybe wear layers instead of high heating bills. \nAlthough conditions in India may not be as idyllic, but food and living costs are way cheaper and one can lead a decent and healthy life without having to starve it out !!\nWhat happened to the Canadian dream !! Really sad.
