The Christian/Atheist West will never fully accept practicing Muslims. They will tolerate it because we need young bodies and it allows them to feel three powerful human emotions: superiority, pity and, for many, disgust. Another reason to leave for a Muslim country is you will be lucky if one of your grandchildren are practicing Muslims. The power of culture is far greater than parental influence over a couple of generations. I know very little about Islam but if this important to you , the West is not the place for you. \n\nAs a non practicing Christian, I hear these sentiments from Christians all the time who assume I am one of them. Many barely tolerate Jews even though they have been here for generations and are very economically productive. \n\nIf your husband has professional skills, the Gulf States are a good choice. Also Pakistan as they have more security due to possessing nuclear weapons which I guarantee no other Muslim country will possess in our lifetime. Pakistan hopefully will develop over time. \n\nGood luck.

I LOVE Toronto. But would never live there. I keep it as a weekend destination a couple times per year to soak in the vibes, meet the amazing people and enjoy the cuisine. I flat out refuse to pay that much for rent, considering I own a house a few hours away and my mortgage is less than half the rental cost for the average Toronto one bedroom. I really hope they can successfully tackle these problems because the city really is incredible.

It's frustrating when people claim to want peace and respect for other religions and beliefs, but their actions don't align with that. ?? It's important for everyone to coexist peacefully and embrace diversity. In the UK and other modern countries, the majority of people don't support the implementation of Sharia law at allllll. After traveling to different parts of the world, I have yet to find a country that is better than Canada, economically or spiritually. Born and raised in Toronto, and a university student. Definitely feeling the choke of the city, many of my friends are greatly considering moving to America or abroad after university. Hopefully the city can back on track, this city is awesome.

Even though she got 8 in IELTS and 80% in academic qualification and we are very financially sound too, we don´t have any hope here in Kathmandu for Australian student visa nowadays. She just applied to Manitoba TT College.

Until Canada’s infrastructure and job levels can meet immigration numbers, I hope all those considering Canada take these exit videos as a warning. Yes, as much as most people don't want to admit it, we don't have the housing or resources to take in so many. And not just students but our immigration levels are off the charts in all areas.\n\nI have no issue with someone wanting to come here hoping for a better life, but thats not a legal right that we have n obligation for. Same as you wouldn't open your door and invite anyone in the city to come on in.\n\nWe have to think about this from a practical level because our unrestricted immigration is causing a crisis in many areas, housing, health care and so on.

[ Coming from a student ] - Nobody is to Blame beside THE GOVERNMENT! They mislead many international students to come here without even checking if the Colleges exist! They just kept giving visas to many students and when students reach here then they realize they made a big mistake especially after looking at the present bad economy and giving the tuition money to these money grabbers (GOVERNMENT AND COLLEGES). And to make it worse you have to pay 10k to the banks before coming which is now 20k and then the students pay 3 times the money compared to Canadian students, Which to pay-off, a lot of these students do all kind of jobs for so many hours a weeks just to pay the fees and their living bills. Hence, the reason for them not able to focus on their studies properly, less work for other folks and every other things which is effected. As a Student I was financially fine which was the main reason for my pretty much smooth journey here but not everyone has the same backups. I feel really bad for the students and hope this money grabbing madness stops and the immigration for at least 3- 4 years.....

It's all about the money. The schools kinda need them for that reason alone cause the locals just cannot make these schools economically feasible. From the POV of those students, they are taking a chance of getting a PR hopefully. As visas for studying is easier to obtain vs say other forms of visa like investment or to have a local company sponsor you for work...

If home prices drop because there is more homes being built that gives everyone an advantage. I don't even know what percentage of people own 100% of their home but I don't think it's that many, and that's going to drop significantly as well. I know there's tons of studies done yearly on the effects of stability on children and mental health, good grades, good health. All these things generally improve with safety and stability and it's consistent. If you are someone who can actually afford to buy your own house, you could just buy a cheaper house and invest the rest in something else. It's actually better to have diversity than to sit there hoping no one builds houses so you can maintain some high value property. And this likely will lead to a collapse as well. It's unavoidable in the long term

I agree with the indoctrination part, too much forcing agenda, wokism and not respecting peoples beliefs, we arent multi cultural if we cannot have respect for peoples faith and subjecting people to things that is considered against their values and beliefs. You can respect someone for their decision but it should not be forced to be a part of you. The cost of living is horrible here and agree with you 100%. Canada has outran the USA in the proliferation of the thought, that the State, not the individual is responsible for one’s well being. I think there’s still hope for the west, but things will have to descend much further into darkness before people change the behaviors causing the problems.

Before locking people down for months at a time as occurred during Covid, hopefully politicians will consider the long term repercussions, if such a thing should happen again. Countless businesses closed their door permanently, people lost their jobs, children are still behind in their education, and mental health issues hit the roof. Sometimes the cure and intervention is worse than the disease.

Ive been in around Toronto since 1973 and lived downtown 20 years ago, I owned a condo, and let me tell you the city was so much better 20 years ago its not even funny. It was also way better in the 80’s, in fact the entire country was better in the 80’s . Today the city is a ?show mostly due to the cost of living and I hope to leave soon to Niagara or Cambridge.

I love Toronto but now a days I dislike to live and work here I will prefer move to a less expensive town and a calmer and not so dangerous place . Hoping my loved Canada do not imitate Toronto . Got permit not.

Everyone is leaving Canada. I have seen a lot of Muslims (including Syrian refugees) and Christians leaving Canada for similar reasons and I have myself tried. I hope I will succeed sometimes soon. You forgot the lack of freedom and Canada becoming a WEF lab. In the last 20 years, the country changed so much.
